I'm super happy with the list.

All of the GT300 class cars
All of the GT2 class cars, ESPECIALLY M3!

Not sure what "Base Model" means for race cars, but I just can't wait till Dec 6th!

In the video I see a liveried GT300 BRZ but, that car is a Base Model. I thought it had to deal with no livery. Guess not, as the SLS GT3 has no livery and not categorised as a Base Model.

Guys, am I missing something or the new NSX is not in the list?
I read the list twice and I didn't find there, but it was seen in the trailer.

damn, another good catch man.

I assume you are talking about Tony Starks NSX concept. Good man.

Where is that car? Didn't they do a promo video for them at a car show? I think it was the cars unveiling event.

I noticed that, I am very happy with all of the new BMWs :D even if they are all new.

Also I noticed "Over 1200 cars"

...1197

Same old story with the car list.
A million nissans and handfuls of anything else. Being an aussie all there is still the 04 holden and old ford v8 super which will be what?standard cars? Still...?
theyve put bathurst on with no australian classic cars to back it up.
theyve got the lunar rover vehicle ffs

What is this??. Space exploration?. Its a --removed for expletives---

There may be hope for the car list just yet

I think other cars on the list are premium.

Take a look at the new time of day trailer. You will see a Mercedes Benz C9 '89 prototype racing with 5-6 other premium prototypes. We still havent seen any standards cars right? And the Mercedes C9 isnt listed as 'new' right?

Theres likely more then 125 new premium models, they just arent listed as such. Maybe 100 or so of the 800 returning standard cars have been converted to premium. If so GT6 is really looking up.
Yep for all we know there is a premium supra.

I see the Rover as an excellent addition to the Gran Turismo series. Polyphony really are pure genius - what would be the perfect car to add to a game in which the sounds aren't even finished yet? How about one that operates in a complete vacuum! Bravo Kaz.

In space, no one can hear your unfinished sound engine....

Because PD taking away the labels of the distinctions doesn't mean that they aren't there.
They didn't just take away the labels, they also took away 2 of the 4 main differences between the two. I'm guessing to them, updating textures and allowing for all tuning parts was enough of a reason to not label them standards... I mean it makes them slightly less standard but still standard none the less. Depending on just how updated they are, but even a slight update would be a plus

Interesting new car:

Also, the new NSX concept is oddly absent from the list despite being seen in the trailer...which implies that this is not the final list.

Well my personal car is in the the game. The SLS GT3, E63 and new Mustangs are the cars I wanted from the start are in the game. Everything else are bonus.

Plenty of cars I'm happy to see in the game. Although, one thing I could pick out at the moment is the Cadillac CTS-V coupe... Personally, I would prefer to have the sedan or wagon (wagon, only because I'm a wagon fan. :D) to go against the M5 and E63.

Also would like to see more Bentley's in the game. Wish I could play with a Continental Supersports... Don't know why, but I've grown an odd obsession with it.

-Why 1978 Trans Am? That car was a hunk of junk and the only reason anyone still cares about it is that it was in a movie. Why not a 1998 Trans Am? It looks just about as good and can actually experience forward motion.

-I understand why they used the CTS-V Coupe, but I still wish they had a wagon too. The wagon is the coolest one.

-Diggin' the 1970 Nova SS. That's one of my dream cars in real life. We'll have to see if the paint customization goes any deeper than what's been shown (apparently some quotes say it might), if it does I might even be able to customize it (sort of) like I would IRL. Unfortunately Hilborn stacks protruding through the hood will probably be an impossibility.

-Also diggin' the premium Diablo, though I'm dissapoint that there's no SV or VT 6.0.

-Seriously? The Lunar Rover?

-Where's a Sunbird SE? :P

IT'S GOOD ESPECIALLY DIGGING THE 95 MCLAREN BUT JUST WONDERING

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY ISN'T HONDA PART OF THE COLLAB OF VISION GT IT PROBABLY MAY GET RELEASED LATER ON IN THE FUTURE

The BRZ in the video is the R&D Sport car that runs in Super GT. My guess is the base mode will be all black, similiar to the test car.

Also, not all JAF GT 300's are included; CR-Z and Prius are missing.

Yeah, just checked on the web. A shame PD substituted the Prius and CRZ with the TC's. For the moment anyways.

Noticed that the new Jaguar F-type was not on this list. Considering it is a new model I wasn't really expecting it but would have been a really nice car to have and it looks great. Hopefully they weren't bluffing when they said DLC would be easier to deliver and that the game gets new additions on a consistent basis maybe something like every 3-4 months. Also noticed only one Cadillac was added along with the gt350 and daytona cobra coupe being listed as debuting but I remember them being gt2 and isn't the gt350 also in gt5?

Good to see the Veyron as a premium! I'm a bit upset at the lack of new high end supercars, but obvious Kaz isn't as shallow as the creators of other car games! Be happy that he has added a load of older cars that became very famous, but have since lost their popularity.

The cars quoted are currently standards of not in the game at the moment

Just occurred to me that including Bathurst without any new Australian cars, makes no sense.
LOL yeah!

Lust noticed no x2014, even though it was confimed to be in the game! obviously this isnt the final car list...

Dislikes:
- Needs more American cars, old and new.
- Not enough sedans, PLEASE include CTS-V Sedan :(
- No V8 Supercars :dopey:  :boggled: :odd:
- Lunar vehicle
- Volkswagen Kübelwagen Typ 82 ’44
- Volkswagen Schwimmwagen Typ 166 ’42
- Renault Avantime ’02
- Honda ELEMENT ’03
- Honda ODYSSEY ’03
- Pontiac Vibe GT ’03

Likes:
- CTS-V
- SRT Charger SRT8 ’11
- Pontiac Firebird Trans Am ’78
- All American cars, except the Ford's :yuck:
- A lot of (new to the game) nice cars.

Where to begin.
A SECOND Quattro? Yes, thank you. Sure, I'd have loved to have seen something like the old IMSA Quattro's... but I will never complain at getting two of my favorite Rally Car.
GT3 Cars. I want to see more, of course, but the selection thus far is satisfying.
Modern Exotics. The One-77 was definitely a pleasant surprise. I can't wait to race an FXX against the Zonda R.

Overall, the cars I'm happy to see:
AAR Cuda
GT350
Nova SS
Daytona Cobra Coupe
Stringray Racer Concept
'63 Split-window C2
(Seriously, I love old American muscle, but there's only a handful that I really get excited about and PD managed to include them all above).
DeltaWing
CTS-V Coupe
250 GTO
288 GTO
FXX
Boss 302
Diablo GT
Diablo GT2
Reventon
F1 GTR '95
Pikes Peak SX4
E-RUNNER Pikes Peak
BRZ GT300
Scirocco GT24
And the Lunar Rover. If PD could get an award for including a vehicle that was on nobody's wishlist, they would have earned it for that. I'm excited to drive it on the moon, and my mom even wants to play GT to see what it's like, now, too.

Don't worry people. I'm pretty sure some cars will be available via DLC for a reasonable price and some will be free of charge. It's always been that way. I don't think Kaz is doing this for the money. He loves making GT games for the same reason we all love to play them :)

Pretty excited for the new list of cars, just wish they would tackle most or try to hit all the current great cars that are available now, with a few sprinkles of historic good cars here and there. Maybe double the staff to work on all 800 some odd standard cars and rid them from GT history

PD are a business and with that in mind I'd say money is the key aspect for them. Though its clear they enjoy what they do and try to produce top quality work for their enormous fanbase.

I like the fact that they left standard cars in the game again. It gives me hope that some day PD will release Toyota Minolta or Nissan R92CP as a premium and a lot of other cars too and we will be so grateful for that. Personally I like seeing Ferrari 288 GTO and Peugeot RCZ in GT6 car list and there are other cars too, but those two brough a big smile to my face.

I would agree with you on that but I don't think Kaz and his devoted co-workers and friends make millions with GT games. I believe a lot of the earned money from sales goes to developing new GT stuff that we all so much enjoy. Making games isn't a cheap business and quality is a big standard with PD. I will support PD and Kaz until I die.
