GT6 Q/A

Guys I'll have to stop taking very detailed requests about cars and stuff or I'll never get to play.

Hello @BHRxRacer, Can you tell me if all wheels used are five screws, or if some are four.....just kidding.

Seriously now. I suppose that the game save automatically, because one of the very bad experience with GT5 and this looooooong loading/saves, I wonder if at least GT6 save more quickly, or, if they have the autsave option off! To talk generally, if they improve the navigation/speed in the menus/saves?

[Question Update]
Do GT6, have a credit bonus with the save file from GT5, like GT2 with GT1, and GT4 with GT3
Gran Turismo 4 give a 100,000 credit bonus to those who possessed a GT3 save file
Thanks for all pictures and videos you post, Keep it up!

I know this is early to ask but is their a credit limit in GT6 like their was in GT5 where once it reached 20 million credits , it couldn't go over that amount.

The leakers definitely haven't had enough time to try that, and nor have we heard anything from PD about a credit limit.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's still 20 million, though.

Edit: I think the fact that there's still 20,000,000cr. cars in the dealership is enough to indicate the limit is still there.

I think putting up only the soundtrack would be infringing some copyrights.
You're already risking multiple takedowns from Sony by putting these videos up. So far, they haven't.

You only need to post one song. That's it. It's all I ask.

I am noticing some really heavy RUBBER BANDING... which reminds me back in the days of GT2, you could always fly past them, but then you couldnt build a gap of more than 10 secs in similarly specced cars

For anyone who have the game, can you go into options and screenshot the entire multi-monitor options with server mode picked? A lot of people here probably want to know if they can modify the FoV again.

Until GT5 I was against Rubber Banding (RB). After very and many boring races with GT5's Rabbit AI, I really hoping GT6's RB AI makes the game more fun...

Yes, so was i, but it has to be implemented better, not just activated when you are in front of him and slow him down intensely when you are behind. Please read my post in the AI thread where i express my opinion in detail

"The 7-post mode is reserved for the so-called track replay mode. First of all, data has to be collected at the race track which is then evaluated at the test stand. The data record can only be used for identical car constructions."

The "track replay mode" is the replay mode whereby the GPS and CAN BUS log from your car is downloaded into GT6 and then available as a virtual replay in the game.

The ability to download this data is limited to versions of the Toyota GT86/Scion FRS:

https://www.gtplanet.net/gps/

"Although it’s limited to special editions of the FR-S for now, and there are still a fair amount of bugs to be worked out and refinements to be made, Polyphony Digital has a chance to fundamentally change the way drivers analyze and evaluate their performance."

Your missing the point, again. I know what the GPS-mode is (Data visualization & a Course-maker), and I know it has no clear-cut relation to KW's 7-post rig, from what little info on it has been released thus far.

Lets consider something, Michael Grassi, the Head of Motorsport Sales and Technical Support at KW Automotive GmbH refers to this as "the so-called track replay mode", by 'track-replay' does he mean the "GPS Data Visualizer" or the usual GranTurismo replay-mode ?.
Honestly, there's no telling at the moment, but I'm thinking its not the GPS-visualizer because he mentions "The data record can only be used for identical car constructions." - by that, 'identical car constructions', I'm thinking he means you can only use data recorded from say, a RM Corvette, with a OEM Corvette, or vise-versa, and that you wont be able to use GT-R data on a Lotus car basically.
Plus, it's a visualizer, simply used to recreate your image on screen, and is not a tuning-apparatus which is what the rig is in itself and is being promoted as in the first article, a.k.a "this level of authenticity will allow players to continually test, tweak, and re-test the cars suspension systems"

I still don't believe they (PD) would announce such an interesting feature as the KW 7-post rig, and only limit it to such a limited group of players, a.k.a those who've bought a GT86, but it also wouldn't be the first time PD have disappointed me.

Also; side note - I still see nothing confirming the rig's use, itself, is exclusive to or even related to, GT86's in either of those articles ;)

Any chance for a lap of Nurburg north loop in one of your earlier cars? Slow enough to observe differences, fast enough to go up hill in at least 4th gear ;)
