It's the V12 Vantage/Ferrari 599/W12 Nardo exhaust sound from GT5.

It's also been the same sound in every GT6 video of the SLS AMG GT3 so far.

I knew it sounded familiar. Had this been the Vantage GT3, I wouldn't be so opposed to the (placeholder) sound choice.
 
If AI is as bad as it looks and with no damage this game is going to be full of fail. Oh and more massive patches as they try to add what should have been in at launch like good sounds. 6 GT games still no good sound LOL.

You don't have GT6, so you don't know the sounds. Theres a possibility the sounds patch wont come, or it could be the day after release. We will have to wait.

What? Here you express your hate against PD and GT, just not acceptable here... Demo DON'T represent the final game, it's just place holder and it concern sound and AI why which seems to be set on the easiest mode. Damage will be the same as GT5. Massive patches is a bad thing? Didn't you see how well supported was GT5? Just think about how much hard work PD had with all the new things, including cars, tracks, physics, sound (not finished yet), new technology (adaptive tesselation...), new game engine, resolution increased and so on.......... I can't believe you hate GT6 as it has not been released yet, maybe GT is not your genre of games that are constantly updated, but don't criticize PD, I've never seen such a hard work group that have such ambitions... And BTW, which racing game is better than GT? None when it comes to overall quality. I'm sorry if i've been to agressive, but this game is NOT going to be a failure, but rather THE BEST GAME EVER MADE.
Edit:when seeing your posts on GTP it clearly seems you're a GT hater...

OR they move because of a pretty simple physics calculation, which is a much more realistic guess than complicated aerodynamic effects.

"If AI is as bad as it looks..." This. Plz this must be improved for the final release. The game is incredible but not for racing. I want to see a real race, more inmersive,with testing, qualifications, failures, real collision physics and 10x better AI. No more 2 laps races where you must to pass 15 cars, with 30 secs. gap to the first of them. Totally unreal and boring. If they improve this, it will be the best racing game for sure, for now is the best "collector car game"
 
I get that you're expressing your opinion, but you could at least be constructive with you criticisms.

I don't believe it's a requirement of GTP to be constructive. Spleen is allowed to express his opinion so long as he follows the AUP which it seems he's done. If you disagree with something he said or can prove him wrong you might want to focus on that, as that would meet your definition of "constructive" would it not?

Well, they did move as I can see them by tire roll or side which push air to mud flap due to new aerodynamic model/engine.

You guys are talking about the mud flaps, right? Those stationary things behind the tires?

No, it's the same V12 sound sample currently used in GT5 for the V12 Vantage, the 599 and the W12 concept. It's one of the few decent sound samples in GT5 but it's obviously wrong to use it on the SLS GT3.
 
That is exactly what league racing offers.

And that is no excuse for a poor offline racing experience.

Most players want to be able to start the game at any time and have a guarantee that they are immediately able to engage in challenging, rewarding racing. Not only being able to do so through planning via an internet forum, and then having to wait for a scheduled time.
 
OK I might be an idiot but how exactly is it a good thing? I dont see the point.

I can't really explain it right. But the reason for it is with added animated mud flaps, the rally cars feel natural like in real life. In GT5 it felt so, disappointing, especially when watching in replays.

Mud flaps don't sit still when a car is moving a high speed, they move. I'm quite happy to see the mud flaps animation returning.

EDIT: Yep, the mub flaps are given animation. I found an picture of the same car driving at high speed and the flaps weren't moving, so the latest gameplay shows its moving again.
