I found the aliasing really bad on GTAcademy :/

Yes the aliasing was rather bad at 1080p. It worked better at 720p with no screen tears. We can all just really hope that the aliasing issues have been fixed for the final release.

From the GT6 news and discussion thread as posted by Jordan thought I would post it here since it is a screenshot:D

So licences are confirmed, Special events also seem to be in to the far right it seems like there is a special event for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The interface seems much better and Cars have a categorized option (Probably by class or PP or something no idea yet)

Anybody else spot something else?
 
Looks good, an improvement on 5 by a long way.

Just waiting for the "What car's under the red cover?" thread now :)
 
The two labels under the "Cars" page appear to be "Dealerships" (the one the cursor is on) and "Categorized" (the one below that.)

Under "Tuning and Maintenance" page there apppears to be "Tuning Parts" "Racing Gear" "Custom Parts" "Paint" and something I can't quite make out. I'm going to guess it's something to do with "Service"

Interesting that the menu style is very Android-esque. At the top we see that there are 8 pages. We are on "Cars" with "Tuning and Maint" to the right, "Career Mode" to the left. "Special Events" is yet another page to the right. There is 1 further page right of SE and 3 further pages left of Career. Wonder what those other 4 are. I'm going to guess one is photo travel (possibly the one we see on the left edge of the screen) and one is arcade, but apart from that?

Doesn't confirm license test though. It could be complete novice to unlock B. I think they will be in but we don't see the option to choose license tests.

I know Jordan are posting these in the news and discussion thread but I thought getting them all together in one thread would be better things get lost over there:lol: Might have to start using the edit function if they get too much:dopey:
 
For those who can't zoom into the picture - What I've noticed

Hidden on the left are Single Player and possibly two player

Career Mode has
Novice - unlocked at start
National B
National A
International B
International A

Cars section
Categorised has text on the icon which says Class - I'm guessing simple pre made filters.

Tuning And Maintenance has the following (hopefully accessible from race menus) - contains the logo GT Auto

Tuning Parts
Custom Parts
Pit Service
Racing Gear
Paint

Special Events
Goodwood Festival Of Speed


And there is a warning about Mild Lyrics - oh no, not REO Speedwagon!!
 
That's also a new track - Streets of Willow Springs. Hopefully cart track included as well.
 
Well, before everyone gets too excited let´s just face the elephant in corner of the room.. Jordan, are sounds on that full game copy still placeholders? (same can go to some extent to the AI )
 
Just noticed a possible record button on that last image, anyone have anymore information on it?

Edit: Wait a sec... no UCD! Well, in that menu at least!

Used cars might be a sub-menu in the dealerships, or maybe even used cars per brand.

The record button might be to save the data as a ghost, to drive against it.

I think Kaz said the standard cars would be treated no different than the premium cars now, so I would assume they are mixed into the dealerships all together.
 
Loving the user interface. The career events could be hinting at compulsory licence tests, not totally sure though.

I hope being standard or premium has nothing to do with being new or used.
Some of the older premium cars should be sold as used cars, and some standard cars (e.g. racecars) could be sold new.

I would love to have used cars sorted by brand, makes things a lot easier.

Better yet, for the rarer older cars, they can be categorised under a 'classics' dealership.

Personally I still hope there is a traditional "by Make" option.

EDIT: Actually, the GT1-2 idea would be great as long as the "New" means only Premiums.
