Interesting. The premium Cuda is an automatic. I sure hope this time PD makes automatics sound like such.

HuskyGT....how does an automatic sound? A sincere question as I've driven automatics and manuals, and I notice no difference.

The revs just seem to drop, there's not an obvious 'break' in the transmission like with a manual car.

I was referring to the way the revs drop when they shift. PD got some of the automatic cars right, like the Lancer GTA and a few modern cars with DSG auto transmissions, but the vast majority shift too quick, as if they were manuals. You can also hear a cut in the revs as if you were depressing a clutch pedal.

This, basically.

For car fans, there are some here who are not very good at recognising obvious design cues. That was obviously the SEMA Corvette. Look at the Marussia, there are no straight lines at the back there, yet one massive one in the front of the frame for the clay model.
Hmmm, why would they make a clay model for the SEMA GT Corvette? Are we sure it's not the clay model of the normal C7?

That Mustang sounds totally different to my Pontiac, my transmission isn't as clean sounding as that. I also guess with me not just sticking the car in D but instead going through he gears up & down, made me question. I recently drove an automatic Grand Cherokee with tip-tronic gears, and it handled the up/down shifts just like a manually geared car; sound, engine braking etc etc

It still sounds the same. I did that with my previous car, a '93 Suburban. It still had that smooth drop that pretty much every automatic has, no matter if you put it in D, or went through the three gear selectors.

So yeah. What I mean is the feel of revs dropping that you get when shifting when compared with a manual. Remember that in an basic automatic (or any) you never let off the gas, and the shift is done smoothly by the torque converter. In manuals, you have to literally disengage the gearbox from the engine through the clutch to change gears and you let off the gas while doing so.

I'm by no means a mechanic engineer. Probably someone can explain it better. But the difference in the rev sound between an auto and a manual when launching or shifting gears is very noticeable. This is, of course, for basic auto transmissions.

I would prefer something more subtle... :) To much colors hehe

But nicely done. Would be nice to have a GT game for PS4 though.

@ mcfizzle, Photoshop probably ^^

+1 photoshop job.

Kind of pointless given that the PS4 can't natively play PS3 games...

Beautiful looking PS4 but clearly a fake. Until GT released on PS4, with the further addition of more Senna content in GT7, we obviously won't be seeing such a console.
