They're in the "NASCAR" section under Recommended cars.
That's true, but still makes no sense to not include them in the main dealership. I was under the assumption that the dealership would contain everycar in the game, not leave some car models out to be put in another section.

Not possible. Only RM's, GT5 DLC touring and rally cars and Base Models can have their numbers changed.

So they added the ability to number cars ... and limited it ... again. For the love of all that is holy!!! I realize that this is a "Driving Simulator", but some of us are trying to use it as a racing simulator. F.

This is all I was hoping for:

Me: 10/10 for having the LFA NE solely. 10 more because El Camino = 20/10.
 I'm giving it an A+ for just having a 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 & Ford GT40 in it. Although, these following cars are fantastic bonuses that I'm delighted to see:
- Plymouth Cuda AAR
- Chevrolet Nova SS
- Chevrolet EL Camino SS
- Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition
- Ferrari 288 GTO
- Premium Shelby GT350
- Lamborghini Diablo GT

They added it back in GT2 (I think) back when you could RM cars. It appeared again in GT5, limited to a small number of street cars, then there was a DLC with Touring cars that were just pre-made RM's. Now they've given us Base Models - race cars with no livery, which we can paint in a colour of our choice and number of our choice.

The choices are actually not that limited, really.

This is the list of cars from the Car List that we can change race numbers on:

Autobacs Garaiya GT300 Base Model '08
BMW M3 GT2 Base Model '11 (not in the game though)

I think maybe the karts can have their numbers changed as well, but I'm not sure.

That to me is a lot of cars that we can change the numbers on.

Not trying to get your hopes up, but.......There is an option to "de-wing" cars. See if one of the members that has GT6 could buy the MX-5 Touring Car and see if they can take the wing off. Paint it red, change number to 98 and you're set.

Exactly my point. No they didn't and heavy. Thank you.

Never heard of the Ford Falcon and/or Mustang? Those are two American cars that performed very well in road racing applications. You sir, are ill-informed and quite rude.

Market value is stock related. Not cash reserves. Their stock is $18 and some change. I suggest you look at the charts for this year as they're up around 80%. Unlike most japanese companies they don't get much help from a higher Yen. Theyre also hiring Bain and Co. to find measures they can take to cut costs.
I've studied finance and economics so I'm aware of what market value is and what it means.

Well, that would be awesome. But it would still only be one car. I don't understand why it's so hard, especially when you've already added the feature for other cars. The engine will handle it. We've been asking for this feature for online races for almost 5 years.

Yes, I read your post. And no, I don't think it's asking too much to put a number on any car that you want to enter into a race. And those things we drive on, they are called race tracks.

Watch a race sometime ... you'll notice they use numbers to identify cars and drivers. It's kind of a car thing.

I don't see how it's asking much to be able to have an option to put racing numbers or even decals on a car when there's other racing titles that have been able to do it.

That would imply a Livery Editor, which we will never get in GT6.
That's part of what I'm getting at. As much as I love GT in general and even adore the "base model" race cars in GT6, I don't understand how PD can still be so reluctant to just have a full livery editor or even a basic one. It just baffles me that I haven't seen one yet.

Someone posted a mini with numbers on it that not a RM. I can remember who at the moment though I look later. I may be hard to get the information you're looking for from a casual player @MX5Racer69.

I'm speaking of the correct information period @iainflo85. It doesn't matter if it was from GT2. As I see and the information I've gotten some areas really haven't been explored even though they're there ready to explore.

Addition:
I don't recall that picture of the Mini from GT5 what so ever.

That was a photo from pre-GT5 release that never appeared in the game.

Agree. And more than that ... they actually wrote the code and implemented the feature completely in the game and then decided that certain cars would not be able to use it. Several of the racing associations have been in contact with PD and submitted some basic requests to improve the online racing. The online portion of the game isn't unlocked, so I don't know how many of these requests were implemented. But when I saw the RM cars were removed, I naturally wanted to know what happened to the ability to number cars. And I guess it was a little naive of me to think that they might just implement this basic feature as a version 0.1 of a future livery editor. I'm really just asking for baby steps here.

Ahh, thanks Zuel. I'll keep my eyes open.

Yup, I would love to see more than just a limited list of cars that can have racing numbers applied to them. I also agree that it could improve online racing and even give us players a chance to do things such as form racing teams (not that I would do that, I prefer going solo).

Anyway, I haven't seen every feature in GT6, I just hope there's enough customization features to keep me happy.
