@Bounkazz Or else the high court of the manual transmission, Mark from Classic Game Room and Jalopnik will hunt you down. You also don't want to mess with Sparky.

You've been warned....

I'm with you regarding priority, but would not agree on your example.

Now, Ford GT '05 when we have a Ford GT '06? That rustles my jimmies.

Sometimes it does seem like a pi** take, but when it requires virtually no work on PD's part and gives some gamers a greater sense of realism/ownership/individuality, what's the harm in it?

If I owned an MX-5 or Skyline or was an MX-5 or Skyline enthusiast, I'd make sure I bought my exact favourite model or the one I had in real life, and no other game lets you do that.

Exactly, I own a 73 mach one. the 71 is ALMOST identical minus a few things here and there. I understand why pd chose the 71 too! It had more horsepower , but id gladly take a 73 variant, when it involves remodeling two body panels.

Seriously :D :D :D

THE GOOD TIMES ARE BACK!

There's something that always made me smile in Gran Turismo games: the sense of accomplishment when you just get a license, or when you win a long championship... GT5 killed that and I got really sad when I've seen that the licenses weren't important anymore.

That's really a nice touch. I'm smiling when I see these images, the fireworks, the name on the license card... the way the prize is given to you.

So simple, so small... but it's the way PD does stuff and it's so nice when they get it right.

The day that PD follows completely the common sense and start to be just one more developer... the day they just listen to the mainstream and forget their lunacy, you'll miss them.

(I miss the UCD already... I hope it get back in a better implementation in the future)

Ahh, that Gran Turismo Feeling

Like you, I'm very sensible to details. Details like this are what gives me the GT feeling, and I love them. In that sense, GT6 still has things I absolutely love and those are things no other game does properly. However, not every detail is a good one. Most of what irks me of GT6 is the small details that they can fix without a problem but have decided not too because they're oh so artsy and genial. And those are details I can't forgive because every other game is able to pull them off properly.

It's such a tie for me right now between "GT6 is lovely" and "GT6 is 🤬", but that's enough for me not to pre-order. Time will tell, but I'm really hoping the game turns out to be awesome...even though most of the signs we have right now pont the other way around.

Although this whole post felt like a dodgy American lovey-dovey sales pitch with a sickening slogan at the end, I have to agree.

Can someone take a photo of one of the base model cars with a number on it? Could be the Honda Fit or any car really. Just trying to confirm or deny whether or not this is possible. Thanks.

Honda FIT is not a base model car.
Base models are race cars, without the official liveries.

It's a question about priorities, not every car has to be upgraded to premium. The fact that we get less than 10 standard cars from GT5 that have been upgraded to premium for GT6 indicates that PD should find a better balance between premium upgrades and new cars. I'd rather have that Nissan R390 in premium than a new entry such as the Chevrolet El Camino.

If they make every standard car exterior to premium by GT7 I'd be happy. I thought that's what they were going to do with GT6 :(. And delete exact car duplicates and mommy vans.

Market value is stock related. Not cash reserves. Their stock is $18 and some change. I suggest you look at the charts for this year as they're up around 80%. Unlike most japanese companies they don't get much help from a higher Yen. Theyre also hiring Bain and Co. to find measures they can take to cut costs.

I concur, I've been drooling over the Dino since I first saw the early screenshots.

Not sure if these have been posted before, but darn, glad these lovely Ferraris have been added, and they look great!

Ok, I used the wrong word. What I'm trying to figure out is if we can put a number on ALL cars. So, to prove a point, can I see a photo of a touring car, say a Honda Fit, with a number on it? Is that possible?

Not possible. Only RM's, GT5 DLC touring and rally cars and Base Models can have their numbers changed.

Honda Fit is not a touring car, it's a street car that cannot be turned into a touring car or race car.

Dude. Have you ever gone in an online room where everyone is racing mommy vans?? It's a jolly good time!! 👍
