Yep! Those 60fps videos give a closer impression of what it looks like really. Amazing!

I'm still surprised with Willow Springs... how PD captured the desert atmosphere perfectly. I just want to take a 700hp monster there all day long beating lap times.

Skyline R34 *cough*

They did an excellent job with the landscaping, I thought that this would be a very boring track to race on, since there is no tree or object to give you a sense of speed. I guess I was wrong! Really excited to race on Willow.

Same with all of the 24hr time/weather change tracks really - each feels distinctly different and a pleasure to drive on all day long. I think PD learned a lot with the Route X Oval which has very little detail nearby the track (except in the tunnels :sly:) but is never boring to drive on despite being essentially two humongous straights and connecting curves.

It's all about personal taste
I find Route X very boring to drive.

I only used it to take pictuers because it looks very good.

All the videos show people struggling with the steering, not fighting the car as it tries to slide or anything, just struggling to steer a course. Even in the videos with Jordan driving you can see him having to correct constantly just to steer a constant gentle curve. (About ten seconds into the SLSGT3 Willow vid). I've seen videos where there looks like there is input lag, and it generally it just looks like the FFB is worryingly woolly and vague like 5.

All the GT Academy drivers were pushing like crazy and they were driving flawlessly.

Typical GT soundtrack checklist:
[x]Daiki Kasho
[x]Jazz/Lounge Music
[ ]Average Rock music
[ ]Some electro song that doesn't fit with the mood
[ ]Song in another language
[x]Repetitive Drum & Bass
[ ]A bad remix

It's under special events, but it looks like the license tests may be replaced by GTAcademy. Otherwise, I don't see the difference.

Hilarious.

Journalists attempting to drive GT with a NFS approach isn't something entirely new however. This is why you should take most reviews on racing game physics with a grain of salt.
