Loving the new background for the dealership and garage setting .Dat Leaf Body roll

Seems pretty clear they didn't improve the sounds though.

Check out the Light Car Company Helmet and the face... hehe

I'm glad we got to see a bit more of the menu and car selection process. It all looks good with interesting track backgrounds going on behind it all - definitely an improvement on GT5.

Sunday Cup on Autumn Ring Mini? Please for the love of god tell me that isn't final. It's been the exact same in every damn game.

That's, what you call a classic. ;)
The 24 Heures du Mans will never be driven in Oschersleben as well.^^

I have to say the new interface looks pretty slick. I reserve my judgement until we've seen more of it, particularly search and sort options and the flow through the various menus, but my initial reaction is positive.

If they give us 20,000 Cr. to start off with, if there are cheaper, slower options available to me I can realistically see myself buying a car, selling it so I'm down to around ten grand or less, and then buying a car with that money to start with.

In GT4 I often restarted because the beginning was by far the most exciting time in the game for me. Challenging grassroots racing, against faster opponents, is just a lot of fun, and a genuine test of your driving skill.

Not to mention if the Physics Engine is that good, those cheap FF cars we start with will be mega fun

Lift off oversteer in a hot hatch with horsepower in double figures

I'd love to see where Gran Turismo get their car prices from as well.

A second hand EG Civic with 80k miles on the clock, would cost me probably £500 to £800 over here in the UK, but costs something like 7,000 to 8,000 credits in GT5 if I remember correctly. An SLR McLaren costs about £300,000 to £350,000 brand new in real life, but costs 610,000 credits in GT5.

The real life figures I have might not be representative of other major markets, but I don't really understand why a Civic costs ten times it's real life price but an SLR McLaren costs less than twice it's real life price. Is it just me?

I think you're supposed to take those prices with a pinch of salt. There's a reason they use undefined credits as currency. The prices are simply the values of the car within the game, using whatever parameters PD see fit.

And also it's not like it's particularly hard to earn credits to buy them.

Maybe besides the point but still. :sly:

MGTurismo
Does anyone have a clue to when Jordan's going to upload the ones he got yesterday of the Alpine, Countach, etc? :D

He has been doing alot of work Yesterday so guessing in a few hours he'll be up and post tthem with the interview

All shift tracks were crap because of the Advertising and track side crap.

I know they put there crap there and the crap makes driving on the crap so annoying. The crap wasn't even lazer scanned so it was total crap.

In the Spanish video during clip 1 the question is asked how many players online. The Sony employee answers 16. He also talks a bit about the racing clubs and teams but I couldn't make out what was said.

If PD said that they are implementing online club racing, they have to allow 16 cars on the track. Otherwise it would be pretty lame.

Looks so epic at 60 fps.

Yep! Those 60fps videos give a closer impression of what it looks like really. Amazing!

I'm still surprised with Willow Springs... how PD captured the desert atmosphere perfectly. I just want to take a 700hp monster there all day long beating lap times.
