To be honest the trees didn't bother me half as much as the 2D cardboard cut-out people in GT5 - though from the videos we're seeing they seem to have been removed altogether for GT6 as the grandstands etc are completely empty. If they do put the people back in by the time the game is released I hope they have improved them markedly.

EDIT: I see the crowd is present at Matterhorn and although I haven't yet checked on an HD version of video the people do appear quite a bit better than in GT5. :)

Trying the GT Academy 2013 stages:

20 Minutes of gameplay testing various cars and tracks:

Greetings

In the second video, at around 3:35, where the Alpine is picked for some gameplay, the cockpit view is extremely disappointing. It's too zoomed in! You can't even seen the speedometer or tachometer properly!

dat body roll on the leaf. The GT5 equivalent corners flat :P

Edit: The countach cockpit looks great.

Hopefully that'll be adjustable like in Gt5.

The view was config in narrowed, later they change the setting to wide.

All cars on the video are zoomed in like that, even cars we've previously seen with "normal" views which leads me to believe it was zoomed in from the options. Didn't seem like the default view.

Edit: Too late.

They had it set to "Narrower" for the cockpit view as you'll see them change it to wide near the end for the Countach!

In the Spanish video during clip 1 the question is asked how many players online. The Sony employee answers 16. He also talks a bit about the racing clubs and teams but I couldn't make out what was said.

Yes, at about 19:10 in the last video he changes it back to normal

You mean video 2 as this was being talked about while the guy was driving the Audi Quattro.

Loving the new dealership and garage, looking really good. :) And I heard someone said you can now test drive at the new dealership? Yes! You can even test drive the cars you've purchased in your garage without needing to go practice mode, that's a plus! :D

I wonder if we'd be able to test drive them in Andalucia or the other towns/cities that the "Course Maker" has. AHHHH! There needs to be free roam!

I think we would be testing them on tracks and tracks that we created basically. :) Would be nice if you were able to create a free roam track, that'll be crazy. O.O

In the dealership though, I wonder if that one will have a track of its own, like PGR2 have. ;)

A free roam version of SSR5 or R246... That would be awesome...

Loving everything so far... the menus, garage and showroom seem really polished. PD really made its homework in this aspect.

Specialy, that garage... feels comfy... just like Gran Turismo garages need to be. GT5 is so lifeless in this aspect. You NEED a garage! :D
