Heh, the GT one looks more like a proper garage where as the Forza one looks like they parked in the open concept livingroom / kitchen in an apartment :D.

It looks like a die cast sitting on a kitchen table with a saucer of milk for the cat.

To be honest I prefer that Forza environment by far. The sunny lighting, the weird but cool thought of parking your supercar in a perfectly clean living room. Looking at the P1 gameplay we saw at E3 of FM5 makes me sad, the racing looks much more exciting than GT5/GT6 (speculating, but just the AI behaviour and the flexible cockpit view in FM5 make me pretty confident FM5 will be less serious but more exiting). But it's made for a console I'll probably never buy. :indiff:

Buuuut we talked about another topic actually. To get back to it, I doubt that kind of underground garage scene will be the actual GT6 garage. GT garage backgrounds always were very neutral and universal, this one would be the first one with concrete environment instead of just smoke/shadows.

GT6 Garage vs. FM5 Autovista

hmmmmmmm

What If Turn 10 is A secret PD project as aa means to improve profit

Oh and there is no comparison between ForzaVista and GT6 Photomode

Forza or GranTurismo, which one is the better stairs simulator, that's the question.

If they don't simulate the full range of interactions, I'm not interested. Can't trip up or fall down them? Can't slide down the hand rail? No point in including them, in my opinion. They better not mess this up.

Just leaving this here.

So test drive is actually only for the cars you've bought and in your garage rather than from the dealerships? What's the point of test driving a car you own?

To test it? I guess the phrasing isn't quite right, but it's unlikely to be final.

It's just below tuning.
Maybe you can have a quick spin around the track to check your new set-up.
Without going through 7 menu's ;)

I would absolutely love that, it was a pain to go through all those menus on-top of the painfully slow load times.

I think there was also test drive in the dealership .

If you remember, GT3 (and I think maybe even GT2 and GT1) had an option to test drive which took you straight to a submenu where you could choose from five or so tracks, rather than going through different menus and whatnot (or back to arcade mode).

It's a small feature to be added in GT6 but its convenient to just jump right into it without navigating through all the menus.

Yes, there is. Other screenshots/videos show it in the dealership.

I just want to know how each recorded the sound walking up and down the stairs. Did they use actual people or did they do the ol' 1930's hand-in-the-shoes radio program stomping?

There was a screenshot of the dealership and it also had a test drive icon.

Tree'd.

They could use Kinect or PS Eye to estimate your actual weight and adjust the sounds according to it.

Agree?...Agreed!

I saw a video of it. It exists. If it's not in the final game, then that's BS. From what I've learnt over the past few days about GT6, I know it, the game, will make me feel special. :D

I'm uncertain as to how Kaz will approach online gameplay. This is one of my problems with what is seemingly going to fall short of my expectations in GT6. QuickMatch, whether or not using a host's presets, is mandatory for online gameplay. I don't want to sound domineering, but it's going to be three years since GT5's online launched, meaning they have to have a hold on it.
