Okay I know that why do you keep saying it? It doesn't argue my point.Pd have dubbed trailers in the past to cover up the shoddy real sounds.
It wasnt a trailer it was a concept video. The fact it was a concept video could mean they were showing off an early build for the sounds.Concepts and early builds go hand and hand.If they were working on something new but it wasn't finished yet and sounded bad why on earth would they showcase them in a trailer rather than simply continue to dub the videos?
Out of all of the trailers with dubbed sounds, none of them sound as bad.Your saying they completely lost all of their skills over the years dubbing sounds.. It doesn't add up to me.It's a bad dub, simple as that.
PD has been doing this for years. Poorly too, which is worth pointing out.Do you guys not see how weird it is that out of all of the videos PD released with dubbed sounds, this one sounds so wonky?Thats all im saying it just seems weird that they can make seamless sounding dubs yet mess this one up, RACECAR did it in a day...I mean just because it sound like its coming from different engines doesn't take a early build out of the equation (it actually further shows that they are at least working on something). The fact this video sounds so weird and that its a concept brought me to the conclusion that they are working on something, and considering Kaz said they are working on the sounds, I put 2 and 2 together.Or it could mean they are working on the dubbing, who knows.
If PS2 could do it than PS3 can do it and hopefully PS4 will do it.
Ok so you agree the sounds, whatever they are, are bad, correct? Why do you dub trailers? To cover up bad sounds. If the bad sounds in that video are real, and bad, why haven't they dubbed them? If it wasn't they wouldn't have rendered the video, it'd have AA issues as the gameplay footage from Goodwood does.
Also you still haven't explained how one car in game can produce different sounds from the same angles on one run? Or are you saying they did dub the video with several different 'real' in game sounds?
A concepts' purpose is to show off something new, not necessarily in its best light. It may not be called a trailer but it's semantics, it's purpose is the same, show off the game in it's best light.
Source? Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it would've been pointed out by now. They haven't dubbed the bad sounds in the video because for the 20th time they wanted to show off an early build for the sounds
That's all I could gather from the article on the News page. Not very convincing.Interestingly, Polyphonys video is labeled as a concept, and would appear to feature altered or placeholder engine sounds.
I have secret sources, that I cant tell you about.. I know people who know people. No seriously im just explaining how I came to my conclusion. You should probably read the entire convo.Source? Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it would've been pointed out by now.
When I replied to his post he didn't had that, sorry.
I think you're following a fake PlayStation Turkey Facebook page. One of the Subarus in that video was covered with SCD-TV "film crew" stickers. After some searching, I found that video on their YouTube page, uploaded over a year ago. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with PlayStation or Gran Turismo.https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=545324192192306
<playstation turkey shared this video.it says "after a gt6 shooting" there are porsches and m3 (e30).anyone knows about this?

If it really bothers you that much then just simply refuse to buy the game and stop negatively trolling every GT6 thread.
Yeah because that's clearly what I'm doing. GT6 sucks, it all sucks, I hate it, is exactly what I'm saying......
They haven't dubbed the bad sounds in the video because for the 20th time they wanted to show off an early build for the sounds, it wouldn't make sense to dub over sounds you want people to hear right? I said this already and since people keep bringing up the fact that PD dub sounds for trailers, im guessing some of you still aren't understanding me completely. Just because you think the video was pre-rendered doesn't mean it actually was. I had this convo with you before explaining just because a video looks better than gameplay doesn't actually mean its pre-rendered. Considering the video looks a little better (imo) than the gameplay would mean PD have a different build than whats being played at demos ( the actual developers have a different build? what type of sorcery is that ?! /s ), it wouldnt be far fetched to believe they have access to different sound builds correct?
Whats there to explain? Its an early build.I dont know the intricate of how they make the sound engine. For all I know it could be a different engine per gear per perspective. It doesnt however mean that its obviously a video edited dub especially considering they actually know how to dub.
note this is only explaining why and how I came to my conclusion, im not saying this is true.
At some point you can see the car is clearly decelerating for a corner while you get the sound of the car accelerating and shifting up. Seems dubbed to me.
If PD has a build with many known issues fixed already, why would they show off older builds? Do they just want to annoy people? If they are seriously doing that, it's the worst marketing job I've ever seen. They haven't dubbed the bad sounds in the video because for the 20th time they wanted to show off an early build for the sounds, it wouldn't make sense to dub over sounds you want people to hear right? It really isn't something new.
Just a reminder...
Just a reminder...
legacyMACHINEI was wondering what happened to that. Where's the news page?
Jordan took the article down a while ago, we don't know why but you can pretty much expect most cars that were shot by PD to appear in GT6 or a future GT game (aside from maybe the p4/5)
A reminder's a reminder...Of what?
edit:regarding the E3 07 trailer I hope we get to see more of the car sitting in the pit surronded by thecrew pre race animation make a return.Might cause an issue if you pick a standard car though
another_jakholeA reminder's a reminder...
Is reminding people of cars not confirmed to be in GT6 by PD even though we know they will see an appearance some time after GT6 releases not similar to reminding people that Seattle Circuit and Apricot Hill are likely to be in GT6?
