GT6 server boycott: March 1-8

I'm not near my PS3 at the moment, can someone please check how many rooms/people are currently online?

you guys make it sound like it's easy to make video games (or new contents). They may be slow in releasing new contents, but it's not just getting tons of data then putting it in the game (they need to do lots of tweaks and optimizations to make those go smoothly in the game)......Not to mention continuing support for GT5 for its last few months, support for GT6, and then developing GT7, and of course working with Sony and Nissan for GT Academy, they currently have a lot in their hands. We should give them the support that they need :cheers:

As far as I know you are free to support PD as you see fit in GTP. Have at it:tup:
 
If you guys really want to protest, do it during March break; it'll show them that even though there's nothing else to do and you have free time, you still won't go online ;).
 
We are having series in our own country, and Everybody has issues with online.

1. Everyone are having trouble of seeing someone in the lobby(some see 5 on track some see 10 on track etc).
2. Going to pit - game doesnt give to choose fuel+tyres, sometimes does, mostly game chooses for you.
3. The first set of tyres are the fastest, after pit, the tyres are slower 2+sec/per lap(not normal). At the end, tank almost empty and new tyres, should be the fastest laps - Wrong! they are slower, because of the new set of tyres.
4. When pitted and youre on low fuel with fresh tyres, lap time should improve - theyre NOT, theyre slower(not normal).
5. When someone goes to pit - the game/display stoppes for about 0.3sec.(for Everyone)


These are the few main complaints we all are having on GT6 Online Play. GT5 - everything were fixed and totally ok.

We are too having boycott for the week, because we love the game and play the game. Im not stopping to play it, but for some reason i hope PD or someone sees it who can do something about it.

Please fix these and were happy :bowdown:

GTP is 200,00 people in total.
A decent amount of them are inactive.
A fraction of them have GT6.

Maybe you are right but if "only" GTP himself (the forum and Moderators) tends to be more independent, stop to praise and advertise the game AND at the contrary criticize more the game and PD, defend the consumer so "US" !!
I mean by add for example on the news page of the website " Bugs of the week " , " Complain of the week " , " Aspect of the game to improve " .......... and still of course constructive with arguments and facts.
Maybe after this things can change.
Ok some will say after this kind of things there will be no relation and communication anymore between PD, Sony with GTP But who cares PD and Sony communicate only bits/crumbs to GTP And I think it is noting if you compare to what we might get/win/have with this kind of approach (contents, apologize, communication, ...)because PD will fear us.

What do you think about it ?

This is only my opinion I'm not criticize GTP and moderators at all I spend hours here ;) , I just like to think different and bigger.
 
i didn't play GT6 since weeks because there still no B-spec, no Endurance races, no speed test feature and no Track editor. Doesn't make fun without these features...

Having received a few questions already, I'd like to be perfectly clear. Beater or Sleeper: Car of the Week will continue during this time, uninterrupted. #GranTurismoTuesday races will still be at 10p CST.

What's your deal? Post this elsewhere. Just because this group is boycotting, and you don't like it, doesn't mean you have to try to discourage us or the thread. The original poster was respectful of all, try doing the same.

This thread has created a few questions that take time out of my day. Rather than dealing with it individually, I decided to be proactive and make the announcement on the same place that created the questions to begin with. At no point was I being disrespectful.

Climb down off that cross, use the wood to build a bridge and get over it.

Stupid , Pathetic idea... I will be online today along with 1000's of other who actually enjoy the game. Lately this forum seems like it is full of impatient 4 year old child who scream and shout when they don't get what they want. PD is a small company by all accounts (110+ employees ) yet you expect them to deal with GT5 still, update this GT6 and work on GT7 at the same time, its not going to happen and can see why they are dropping support for GT5 in the next month or so. If you really hate the game my I suggest you sell it on and forget about it or maybe go by an Xbox one and Forza 5 as I hear that has a massive car selection with some brilliant tracks like the Nurburgring. Most just need to listen to this guy :
 
Haha. This thread is still alive? As others said, this idea is such a fail. All it's doing is creating a scene on the internet. :lol:

To be honest, I'm not upset nor have I complained about the late update. I simply just don't care anymore. There are times when you are so fed up with something that you just say "Scerw it" and give up. All I know is that PD lost me as a future consumer at this rate. I've just had enough of things like the lack of communication and Kaz's dodgy speech. And excuses like "PD is a small team and they're working on GT5, GT6, and GT7!" won't change my mind. This isn't an isolated incident and I'm sure this won't be the last time something like this happens, knowing PD.

I will still play GT6 when I have time. I still think it's better than GT5 and there's no point in boycotting a game you already have IMO. If we get this update soon, then great. If we're still waiting for who knows how long and still have no word on when it's coming, then whatever. GT was fun while it lasted. People, if you're so frustrated with PD, then stop giving them your money.
 
Yep seems like the boycott has kicked in full force unfortunately someone forgot to mention it to these players:lol: ( plenty more like this so you may have your work cut out! )

While enjoying our game online most were screaming and yelping about how Kaz should leave because we haven't had an update in a month:scared:



 
What I dont understand is why people cant wait. Sure the update looks promising and all but the developers do have lives outside of creating the game. I know the game has flaws and I have experienced them but cant we just wait? Yes they promised but maybe they are having some difficulties in the studio or something. I dont know about you guys but I will sit here waiting for the update and I will appreciate it when it is released.

I see the adults are back from work. Us angry teenagers should really understand that there's nothing we could possibly do to change things. It's better to conform and be content with grateful for what we have. Expressing our opinions will never get us anywhere, so the adult thing to do is to shut up.

The fact that other forums know about this boycott shows how futile our boycotting efforts are.

I'm really disappointed in the GTPlanet/Gran Turismo community right now. It has turned into a CoD community where there's people defending it, people making fun of it, people telling the community to play other games, etc.

Well, not seeing myself as part of the GT community anymore since years.
I'm glad that there are still some nice people here though, it's not as bad as GTRP.de. *shudders*
