I stopped keeping track of the numbers a while ago so I don't know what the record is now, but I wouldn't be shocked if this week's Daily C ended up as the most popular (by number of qualifying times on the board) in the game's history.

Gr.3, real life tracks that aren't really long (and aren't Willow Springs), dynamic weather, and longer race lengths are all positive factors that got more people than average playing. Add to that a 10x credit bonus and, yeah, I could see it.

I want the tunes for some of these cars that are rented to us for Race A. The RX-7 handles WAAAY better than the one I have, and I'm sure the other cars do too. Is there a way to grab the Setting Sheets for these cars?

A 1000% credit bonus you say?

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: Finals Fantasy

The latest set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races is now available, with events previewing the action from this coming weekend’s Gran Turismo World Series World Finals...
I suppose it makes sense that the one race that does mimic a final race - rather than a qualifier - is the one to get the credit bonus, and what a bonus it is! And here I was thinking that ten laps at Spa-Francorchamps in the W196 R was quite a bit. Definitely gonna have to try Race C this week! I wonder what the meta will be for this one?

Quite a mixed bag at the very top of the leaderboard, but further down it's mostly a Porsche/BMW race.

Has anyone experienced the dynamic weather yet in C ?? Is it only a threat or is there a genuine possibility it will rain 🌧. Looking forward to this evening at Spa...after I put the tree up 🤣🤣🙈

1000%? How many credits could you get?
Saw some notorious streamer getting 2MM credits after a win in top split.

911 and M6 fest in top split at least.
Genesis is good for qualy but good luck with it under wet conditions.

Nice, should be interesting. How are you finding VR?? Spa in the wet will be mega for it
I can categorically say I'm absolutely loving it.

Many have tried and failed to explain just how good it is.

I have improved across the board, license times, lap times. Just haven't done very much racing people as the combos last week weren't ideal to acclimatise to VR but this week is going to be great.

Genuinely think it's the last thing I needed to enjoy the game even more.

Have you tried an actual race at Red Bull mate? Just wondering how others are racing lol as usual...

Started 6th all A/S lobby.

Lap 1 was chaos and so difficult to place all the cars around me. There was crashes all over the place (which look so cool in VR!)

It all settled down second lap and I gapped the heathens so just spent my time chasing 5th.

Ended 6th DR and SR up.

Had load of fun in the last week Race C but I'm glad it's over. Tried to prioritise a healthy SR but failed, meaning that my racing was only going backward from my starting position. SR took a hit, down at C for a couples of races and finish the week at B.

Spa look great. Pick the Genesis and put a deliberate slow 2.25 to see how things going. Qualification was a bright sunny day and come the start of the race, it's all cloudy. To my surprise, the grip of the track is really low. Went off at Les Combes and did not ghost when I rejoin the track and I hit a car there.

By lap 4, a wall of heavy rain hit the track for a short period and light rain for the remaining of the race. Choose to go with inter. Did not put a foot wrong for the remaining of the race except one track limit and my SR is blue but barely move on the graph.

1 off track + 1 contact + 1 track penalty in a 50 min races a SR didn't really move at all!

I opened GTPlanet this morning to check out daily races, something I have done every Monday.

I saw Race C and I immediately reinstalled GT7. First race was meh as it was dry despite the threat of rain looming all the time. But it gave me the much needed practice after being away from GT7 for months. Second race was wet and it was a riot to play. Even if I don't end up playing again this week, the high I got from the second race is gonna last me a week.

The wet 20-lap Spa reminded me what an amazing game GT7 is and the guys in charge of daily races is severely underusing GT7's potential.

Just like the last time a wet Spa showed up in the daily races, here wets seem to be gripping better than inters if it is halfway past the wet meter. I suspect that being on wets was the reason I went from last (I have worse pace in the dry compared to folks of my DR) to 9th. The track was drying up towards the end and I was so close to being overtaken by someone. Very towards the end, the leader lapped the guy chasing me but failed to lap me. I barely managed to hold on to 9th as the leader finished. I cheered so hard! Had the leader failed to lap the guy behind me, that guy would have overtaken me during the 2 minute countdown. :D

Would you want 500% for your dollar or 10 bucks? 🤣

I just find it funny as it's easier to just 10x something quickly than it is to realise the % sign is pointless 🤣

Daily B in VR close racing.

* it's so depressing that the replays are so depth free. This is not what you see in VR but this is all they give us. It's much deeper and fuller around you and the FOV is much bigger and everything in 4K with blur at the edges until you look.

Anyways, enjoy or skip some close touring car style clean racing
