Has this ever been mentioned but I've only just noticed that the oil change on the radical is 50cr cheaper than my other cars?
Nice! Some good racing indeed. Wish I could've done more. Always cool when you get a group of clean, quick racers and can do multiple races in a row.Loving race A this week. Lot's of good close racing. Especially great in VR with the HUD off. I was the guy in the blue helmet.
With the attrition rate and difficulty of driving both the god awful car on the most tricky circuit in the game I wouldn't let tuning put you off just the other 2 reasons I mentionedI wanted to try some race C, but did they really have to add tuning to it as well?
I think the tuning is useful in this race. Add some rear downforce and run TC1, you've just gained +5 positions by not spinning off the track.I wanted to try some race C, but did they really have to add tuning to it as well?
Slow drinker?I think in about 2 hours, I'll be drunk enough for Race C🍷

So, how many drinks would you need to survive the Ring?I think in about 2 hours, I'll be drunk enough for Race C🍷

Edit 2/ That's enough C already
B is ok, but nearly all BMWs though, and I need to take half a second off my time to get to the top half of the grid. As usual, another lap or two would be nice
Not raced A yet, but it feels ok - maybe still a bit light on FFB but not as bad as SF cars or the Red Bull thing.
I'd survive a full race with none at all, but it's just not an enjoyable combo in any state for me. I wonder if PD had a few drinks before choosing this? So, how many drinks would you need to survive the Ring?
I thought that as well, C as a 10-15 lap sprint in the radicals and A as a 1 lap survival of the fittest type one.I really think C should have been a one-lap (maybe two) Race A, and they could have made A in to this week's C at the Glen instead.
I've occasionally lost large chunks of SR the last couple of weeks but can't recall ever doing much that would reduce it. I'd fully expect to lose it if ramming up the back of another car, but sometimes it seems to drop for reasons I've not even noticed??I thought that as well, C as a 10-15 lap sprint in the radicals and A as a 1 lap survival of the fittest type one.
SR is really hard to gain again, easy to lose but really hard to gain even going to the back.
They are starting to tighten down on it; it appears.
I found at RBR minor non race affecting contact just a light tap of the back of the car infront at T2 was hammering my SR and we are talking the typ of tap that sends them 3 foot wide and I'm lifting off to stay behind type stuff and that was clobbering my SR, no side by side banging or "sending it" just literally being able to do my QT pace in race and caught out a couple of times.I've occasionally lost large chunks of SR the last couple of weeks but can't recall ever doing much that would reduce it. The C combo might have been better if the FFB had more weight to it - Gr2 may have tempted me...
Honestly, it's not.I can't believe the negativity to race C this week, it's goddamn awesome flying around the Ring that fast. If an old'un like me has the reaction speed to handle it, you young'uns have no excuse.
I'm guessing he quit out of race C before it finished and then jumped on this one and his loss of DR on race C, finally caught up with him in this race.I like race A, great track and lovely car. I was on holiday yesterday and grab some good result.

What's up with the guy In P8? Shouldn't it be supposed to not impact dr?
Not really racing though? It's literally attrition vs consistency verse having to actually race lap for lap fighting for a position with some nip and tuck?Believe it or not but with the high downforce and the grip of RM & RS tyres the Nurb is easy to navigate at high speed. My strategy is not qualify and pick off positions as stragglers and quitters fall off.
Never saw it, thanksI'm guessing he quit out of race C before it finished and then jumped on this one and his loss of DR on race C, finally caught up with him in this race.
I do have to pass with caution on the cars that come up in real racing, I didn't mean to make it like I'm a vulture waiting for roadkill. Not really racing though? It's literally attrition vs consistency verse having to actually race lap for lap fighting for a position with some nip and tuck?
Just last man standing and extreme at that.
It's not hard, it's just not a shoulder to shoulder out race people race.I do have to pass with caution on the cars that come up in real racing, I didn't mean to make it like I'm a vulture waiting for roadkill.
I still believe it's not as hard as others make it out to be.
I respect your opinion on this, it is valid. I did the Nations cup demo race and found that with soft tyres the car grips track well and is very responsive and I found it easy to drive and occasionally get a clean lap or two. So I am one of the few that will run this race during the week hoping to gain in some DR.It's not hard, it's just not a shoulder to shoulder out race people race.
It's horses for courses and my horse isn't going to run that one. Other peeps will enjoying it and make hay and that is utterly cool. It was just my opinion that it's not really racing.
Open wheelers on VR are always a joy.Loving race A this week. Lot's of good close racing. Especially great in VR with the HUD off. I was the guy in the blue helmet.
