You guys aren't the only ones experiencing issues with your pedals. I have the CSL Elite v1 pedals and my throttle pedal acts up sometimes. When I hook it up to the PC to calibrate the throttle is fluctuating wildly. After I set it, all is fine until it isn't again. I've had it working fine one day and then the next time I turn the game on it's not. It recently destroyed my 90 min league race. The race had rain and I was constantly running off track in the corners. After watching the replay, it showed I was on throttle when I clearly wasn't. Even though I was practicing earlier in the day and it was working fine. So frustrating as it's completely random and can work properly for weeks at a time.
The pedals aren't the problem, it's the software being over sensitive and I think this is also why we have crappy FFB race to race. It's a PD issue which was not an issue until the early days warning about FFB being an issue, they also seem to think if you use a controller for anything that becomes the primary device. It would explain a lot.

Is not a game problem, my bet is on dirty potentiometers.
I had the G923 and I had to disasemble them at least once a year to clean the dust.
Yes, I have to clean mine once a year - easy job though, and they're as good as new once you've done it.

Race B for me I think this week, but I'll be behind the curve as I think Wednesday will be the first chance I get to try it!

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: Competition Time

Fresh off the back of a frantic weekend of competition in the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals, a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races is now available...
I don't think I've driven the Radical in a while, and I do enjoy the Glen, so I think that'll be a blast!

First of all, changing my wheel settings have made a huge difference in the laps I ran last week and today. It's great when the car goes where I want it to when I turn. Second, I'll be focusing on race B this week as I'm not a fan of the other cars for race A and C. I got what I think a decent time so far with a 1:36.1XX in the META BMW.

So, I decided to jump into a race and I'm P5 on the grid. I lost 1 spot in when I made a mistake in the fast esses after the first hairpin and didn't have a safe way to defend my position, and just let them get by so we didn't lose time to the leaders. Nothing much happened after that and I finished P6 with a clean race bonus and a boost of confidence that I needed.

Snuck in some more seat time for a quick QT session. Chose the Radical after whipping up a livery.

Race A: SR3 SL - 2:03.884 Got my oversteer issues out of Turn 7 sorted, and improved my exits out of Turn 1 and 11. I might have a tenth or two left in me?

Too bad the races weren't a lap or two longer. Could've been a banger.

I've had some some good fun at race A today.
I had a few too many beers, and got sloppy, though.
@Talon16 thanks for the races. :)
You raced with Talon? Cool. I bet you didn't save any of the replays. If you didn't, that's fine. I just wanted to watch some entertainment since I can't join in on the fun at the moment, however my ps5 was delivered at almost 5pm this afternoon. Thankfully the rain had stopped two hours before that. I don't like alcohol, beer tastes bad IMO.

Has anyone done race C yet? I don't want to do it. I just want to know how bad it is...
I just finished in a mixed C/D group. To get a feel for it, I planned to start without a QT and hang out around the back and stay out of trouble. Started P11 and finished P6 due to quitters. Got a nice DR and SR bump and some experience handling that beast of a car in a "maze of twisty little passages."

see post little bit above 😅 its ...hope to get a good start and run away from ... did 3 races and 5th/9th and finally second but every race there is contact in that first lap ...it was day 1 so hope it gets better 😋

Enjoyed a race with @newmedia_dev this morning

"Battle with Glen at The Glen"

Genuinely love it. Still in the top 50 as well 😍 (Yes I know it's only race A!)

Great racing mate! You are on fire with this combo! There was no way I was gonna keep up let alone catch you!

Always a joy to race with forum compadres 🍻

Thanks bud! Love seeing forumites online in my lobby. First grand slam for me in a while as well... Makes a change me being quicker than you! 7.8 seconds ahead of 2nd over 3 laps is insane though? Maybe it was the oil change and car wash I did just before 🤣

Now improved and up to qualy rank 35.... But that's probably it for a couple of days, working away from later this morning until Thurs afternoon so I'm gonna miss out on any more fun for a bit 😭

I can't believe the negativity to race C this week, it's goddamn awesome flying around the Ring that fast. If an old'un like me has the reaction speed to handle it, you young'uns have no excuse.
The least they could do is try to race on it for a day and test their skills instead of insinuating that they can't do a lap fast enough. At least make an effort instead of complaining. I'm guilty too but I try to change my attitude to a positive one.

@ElectricNaz congrats on your victory! I know how that moment feels!

That's an awfully high horse you've got on there, all things considered.

I hate driving the X2019. I hate driving the Nordschleife. Put them together and I hate it more. Add in 15 other people, most of whom have no idea about clean overtakes or racing room, in twitchy wasp cars on a six-yard wide track and I'd rather line the inside of my foreskin with 40-grit sandpaper and go for a jog. Can't stand jogging.

Why would I want to give up my free time (limited as it is) for that?

But sure, pontificate a bit more.

I have to agree. I love the nurb, but i DETEST the x2019. I always have. I subscribe to the notion that driving slow cars fast is more fun than driving fast cars slow. The faster the car, the less fun it is. If this were an endurance race with Citroens, I'd be all up in there.

I would like to add to that the comment about clean overtakes, the faster the car, the more likely that there is some noodle behind the wheel, causing even more chaos. I had plenty of that two weeks ago at Le Mans.

I’m enjoying race B this week, that’s a proper racing circuit and the group 3 is well suited to it.

Cant seem to keep control of the BM but the GTR looks good, think I’m going to stick with that as I keep overdriving the Porsche
I can't normally cope with the BM, but it seems OK for me this week - knocked 0.5 secs off the QT I set with the Genesis.

First time in weeks that I've used the meta for a Daily!

The good thing about race C is the noodle's can't set qualifying times to be up the front, just get through the first corner and don't spin in the first half a lap and you'll never interact with the noodles.

The only point where the x2019 is unstable is putting the power down out of the slow corners, once the downforce is there it's well planted. You just need the precision steering to keep it on track going through fast corners.
