By all means play scenery simulator, I personally like the cathaic nature of farm sim and that has trees in it

There's genuinely trees used as marker points though. The "aim for the highest tree" advice for the Karrusell is probably the most famous.

Laguna Seca also has three trees on the outside of the corkscrew after the first apex - always heard when you are pointed to the centre tree then that's your time to go full throttle.

There is to be fair and I use some shadows (I know I know they move)

There are only 2 trees I use, yours and Nebucs but they really depend on the entry/exit

And I'm not very good at either of those, my wife will tell you.
