Except at the Nurburgring and Snetterton.a tree doesn't make you a better driver or racer
Well, until the Snetterton one blew over.

By all means play scenery simulator, I personally like the cathaic nature of farm sim and that has trees in itExcept at the Nurburgring and Snetterton.

There's genuinely trees used as marker points though. The "aim for the highest tree" advice for the Karrusell is probably the most famous.By all means play scenery simulator, I personally like the cathaic nature of farm sim and that has trees in it
There is to be fair and I use some shadows (I know I know they move)There's genuinely trees used as marker points though. The "aim for the highest tree" advice for the Karrusell is probably the most famous.
At Sardegna do you guys also see graphical glitches like flickering trees and trees that change color or is there something going wrong on my end? It happens every lap so its pretty distracting.
And to be honest that is all that matters. But most importantly, it makes happy driving it.
1second or 1min?I did Race C today in Sardegna in reverse. I was looking at the rules, RM tires and RS tires with no minimum number of stops. I started in RM and picked up RS at the end of lap 9.
The race was a demolition derby. I bumped a couple folks off the road myself and wall ride twice once they started trying (unsuccessfully) to spin me out.
At the end I wound up with a one minute penalty that I didn't expect. Penalties were handed out in the race also, and oddly my SR went up. I'm not angry but I would like to know what I did wrong to get the one minute added on. It's as if I missed a second pitstop or something.
1second or 1min?
1 second is for a .5 rounded up which the game does.
1 min as Famine always points out is because of an incorrect pit stop or missed stop.
By the sound of the quality of the racing you describe I'd imagine you did QT on the RS didn't change them at the beginning of the race to RMs and ran two stints on the same compound.
Did you save the replay? I'd love to see it to help explain this issue you had?
Nope, that won't cause any penalties.I wonder if it may have come from accessing the pause menu to turn off ABS. I did that on the main straight roughly halfway through the race
Neither will that, although you can't wait to long or you'll get kicked.I also wonder if sitting in the grass for several seconds may have triggered it. When I hit a McLaren and sent it off track but wasn't given a penalty I decided to wait for that driver to recover before going further.
Lift partially in to it, lift on the exit if you catch the curb. There is a line through is that allows a full throttle exit but you have to turn tight to the chicane barrier.Been enjoying DTS in the Lambo. Set a decent quali time (146.7) which puts me at the sharp end of most B/S grids. Even won a few races!
But is it me or is the kerbing on the exit (right) of the DC a lottery? Seems you can take the same trajectory and be fine or bounce into the wall in the exit?

One sec I'll upload a vid
Edit:
VR Chicane of death, on a fast QT lap I'd take it fractionally quicker but this was pre race TT and not a TT session to find time.
Gran Turismo 7 Chicane of Death VR
Obviously you can launch it here, but the time in the lap is mostly made in Sector 1 and 2 and a conservative sector 3 with a good last corner can overcome "some of a slower CoD"
Why do people keep trying to pass in the first corner at Sardegna?
Thank you. Thanks for the video. That’s wild in VR!
I am lifting on entry, getting tight to the wall/kerb on the right, but often getting bounced on the exit kerbing. Looked like you had at least one tire on the orange/red (lower) part of the left/exit kerbing as the right of the car was tight to the wall on the left. Maybe I’m not far enough to the left on exit? Will try a lift if I bounce next time.
Haven't run much lately but couldn't resist Dragon. Surprising how quickly that muscle memory fades......
But you start to really dial in to it. It just takes a lot of muscle memory even more than I have!
