What track are these times from?..
They'll be the three tracks of that week's Daily Races, back in October when it was posted...

Which car are you using?…
When I decided to go the 'one car' route for Gr.3, this was my go to. Damn fine choice at that. Nice QT @ Suzuka! 👍

And back to work with plenty of time to spend on here. Happy New Year guys!

I spent the last two weeks on Race A and it's a blast. Tokyo Expressway had it's up and down but lots of them were great. I was competitive and could bring victories in many of them. Finish 353th with my 1.49.7 in global ranking which is way better than usual,

And this week Race A is really good fun. The car is a blast to drive, good looking and the racing is great. PD really nailed it.🔥 Liked the car so much, I went to buy it but the car is just not there at this time. Can you bielieve this. PD feature a car in one of their races but don't allow people to buy it.:banghead:

Tried to work on my consistency for Race C in the NSX Gr.4 (default) before hopping into some races, and did a 1:29.331 QT.

Race 1: Started P8. Punted under braking. Shoved wide on the straights and in the corners. Took new tires at the end of Lap 7. Finished P14.

Race 2: Started P7. Had a minor off on my in lap. Took new tires at the end of Lap 7 again. Finished P9.

Shaved my QT down to a 1:29.202.

Race 3: Started P3. Had fun trying to keep up with a pretty quick Megane. Took new tires at the end of Lap 7 yet again. Set Fastest Lap #11 on Lap 9, with a 1:29.275. Finished P2.

full

Race 4: Started P6. Rocky start. Same new tires at the end of Lap 7 strategy. Avoided incidents and set Fastest Lap #12 on Lap 9, with a 1:29.570. Finished P3.

full

Had to cut my day short, but Race C was fun! Hairy - to be sure - but fun. I think I still have a tenth or two in my pocket to improve my QT by the weekend. Good luck out there!

Dying with a cold and I couldn't stomach using VR tonight, 4 races at Suzuka. My early QT wasn't great at 2:02.5 so I was well down the grid. Got a 5th,DNF and a 3rd and then improved my QT to a 2:01.1 .
This was good enough for pole and I just put the head down and crossed the line 7 seconds clear. Well happy with that. I think I can get another second off my QT but at the moment my brain is like a fog and my eyes are sore 🤣🙈. Will try again tomorrow evening 👍

McYavel! I raced you twice last night as you blew past me whilst I fiddled in the final chicane of slowness.

Fantastic phots and agree 1000% we should be able to buy the dang car.
Thanks for the compliment, I have to admit, I really like doing photos.

And sorry to have not notice you on the track. It may be better that way, sometimes I get a kind of nervousness when I see people from here in my lobby.

I also encounter @sturk0167 few races ago and had to race him. I put some extra focus but he was really smooth to be around. He may have let me win that race.

:gtpflag:

Brands Hatch can be a punt-fest in DR B. In 3 races I get shoved off track, and also see a lot of aggressive and dirty driving around me. People want to overtake no matter what, while it is not an easy track to do so. Keep finishing around P10

Did 1 more race laat night. I use the Genesis and I`m not exactly a tire whisperer (despite bb to the back and coasting). 5 laps is okayish but 6 laps is really stretching it with the left front. The former races I pitted after 5 laps. This race I added one more lap in the hope of less traffic. This was the right choice. I started P5, after my pitstop I was P4 with P5-P7 hot on my tail. Managed to stay in front because one of them was dirty and squabbled with the others.

From here I had a constant sight at the lead (about 3 seconds behind). Wasnt fast enough but this is the way I want to race. Quite close and with a chance for a podium or even win. So I called it a night after this P4 finish.

I haven't found it too dirty so far, but I'm still working my way back up the B rating, and was starting P14 to P16 yesterday - I suspect all the dirty stuff has been taking place towards the front of the field. Despite the lowly starting position I haven't finished lower than 8th yet, using the Genesis too.

One guy won 3 of the 4 races in the 4C, starting in P6, not changing tyres at the pitstop. His fastest race laptime was 3 seconds faster than mine though! QT for me in the 4C is 1 second slower than the Genesis....

The NSX seems to be making an appearance at the top of the QTs, but it doesn't seem to do to well in the races - looks to be lacking in top end speed?

I've had a few wins and podiums in the NSX, if you are smooth you can do a lap 2/3 or 9/10 pit which gives a lot of strat flexibility.

Compared to the G70 which by its nature is a tire killer towards the later part of the race it's really strong. But as with these things everyone's mileage varies on pace/tires/cars choice etc

Oh the irony! So I have been working in tech (on the dev-management side of things) for almost 20 years and today I found out that updating firmware on devices actually is helpful! Who knew, right?! 😂 😂

Since updating to the latest wheel, base and other firmware and trying it out for the first time today (last updated June 2023) the wheel is much more responsive and actually feels as I always hoped it would - lol 🤪

I am still way slower than I want to be at Suzuka and @Barney Da Dog went a full 1 second faster in his own lap time (wow btw) but in a few laps (still getting used to the wheel and tweaking settings as I lost all 5 Sets when it updated) I have also improved my time by half a second and getting more and more comfy 🎅

Still a slow lap compared to the rest of the world but happy with how I am managing to drive the Huracan around Suzuka right now 😊

Im having a good week in terms of clean racing wich is a rare thing in Brands Hatch.
However, I couldnt have a single race yet without being involved in involuntary incidents.

Is very easy to make mistakes here and avoidance is very hard when you are all surounded by cars.
I didnt save the replay for this 1st lap incident but it got recorded on Plaka´s stream (awesome guy by the way)

Great time in the Huracan 👍 I can't drive it very quickly at all, though I do find it more stable in T1. My optimum in the 458 is still 2 or 3 tenths quicker, but still not enough to put me at the front in a race.

I've been binning too many on the first couple of laps 🙈

I've not tried A yet, still never driven that car and I'm hopeless on Trial Mountain anyway, so not a good combination 🤣

@Childe Roland Great stream. I wonder how people can drive and type in the chat box at the same time. I'd have a wreck if I did that. I only watched the first 30 minutes of it. I'm gonna record of Suzuka and B.H. runs and post my videos here later on tonight, whenever I have a spare minute. Right now I'm hungry, all this racing has caused me to get off schedule.

@Barney Da Dog the only thing about the Huracan is that it's sometimes unstable when I'm turning or getting through a tight corner. It even tries to spin out when I'm taking a U-turn. Ouch, that was a bad crash. I did that a couple times several months ago in another kind of Group 3 car.

Well roll forward 24h, another win.

Had a super clean race at lunch today, I was in third following these two BMs which were super close and clean racing together, was enjoyable to watch as we disappeared away from the pack.

Last lap, they came together on the tight hairpin, as I flew through into second, P1 got a 0.5 pen with me, er, 0.5 behind 😁 and I’ll give it to both of them, no funny business when I went through and nicked the win.

Somehow, this is how it should be, I’ll try upload a little vid later

Hope you feel better soon.

Still on Race A this morning and I chocked on three possible win.

First one, I cut too much of the last chicane before the final straight on the last lap and 2nd was less than a second

Second race, I ride too much of the yellow curb on the left hander at the the final sector and same guy, same story. Lost the win crossing the finish line.

The other one, it's drag race to the finish line and I fell short of 0.005 sec.

@newmedia_dev , 10sec! You're on a league of your own! Should be DR.A by the end of the week

Thank you, looking at the end of race SR everyone stayed full S so there wasn't any argy-bargy I just got lucky I think.

Full transparency my Alt US and main UK account are A (the UK one by a gnats parts to be fair)
