Which is better/What's the difference between <default> and <weak> ABS settings?

If I'm opening up a debate as old as 'Vinyl -vs- CD' with this one, apologies...😇
I'm a lazy guy, so ABS weak always on for me. I reckon there's maybe 0.1-0.15 sec per km difference between on or off, being off the fastest solution. Btw, modern gt cars or prototypes use ABS under IMSA-ACO Le Mans rules.
Since I felt competitive with the Alfa at DF, regardless the level of sportsmanship, I'll be around Suzuka this week. Only 4 laps is not much, but the rolling start will help minimise the first corner's carnage, hopefully.

Use ABS default with the Gr4 cars, they seem to run better with it. Just because you and transition easier between braking and acceleration much quicker.

If you are super buttery on the brakes then maybe weak but it's not needed just coast then turn ins and you can do sector one with almost no braking apart from T1/2 combo everything else can be done like a pendulum.

Edit: spelling

Thanks for the input and I figured there's not much to be gained from either or it'd be a bigger topic 'round here. As with sooo many things when it comes to driving, personal preference may reign supreme, lol.

Kinda like you, I'm feeling a bit emboldened by the power of Busso...gonna miss the tunnel runs, tho. So many rpm....😁

EDIT
This is pure headphone joy...unless you're single. If you identify as single, this needs cranked so the neighbors hear it. 👍

I'll upload a video tomorrow showing S1 and 2 at Suzuka in GR4 you don't need hardly any braking mostly degna 2 and the hairpin obviously turn 1 but you coast most of that in GR4

Spoon I can't get right and the fast guys are way quicker than I am so it's all pinch of salt stuff, follow their ghosts.

But for fun, I'll be back from work early so will do a vid if anyone is interested

It appears they turned the yellow flag penalties on high, despite almost never enforcing them normally. I got 2 penalties totaling 6 seconds in one Race C, the first time not even seeing a car or a flag. Then I accidentally punted someone way off the track, no penalties at all. Oh wait, I guess everything is working fine. /s

I qualified near the back for the Race C at Nurburgring, I ducked into the pit at the end of lap 1 and on exit, my DD Pro disconnected. This is not the first time. I stayed in the race and had to completely reboot the wheel. I finished the race and saved the replay and found that it had just continued me racing.

Boy Race A is carnage. Well T1 anyways, 3 from 4 races I was hit there, turned around twice including from pile I had by 2 seconds. So still no win with a wheel dammit.

My pace is ok but east to overdrive and miss your apex. Barcelona always confuses me, there's one or two corners where tbh I don't really know the line.
