I really really can't put my finger on it but it seems like I'm really struggling to adjust to these new physics and definitely can't find the pace I had pre-update, but I'm honestly not sure where either in Gr4 or Gr3

Maybe everyone else just got better and I got left behind even @TechnoIsLove is a lot faster than me joking I love you mate.

Enough for the afternoon, have to mind the young fella for a while and then try and sleep for a couple of hours before work. Been a good afternoon. Back to B/S. 4 races and 4 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆. One was my final C/S race the other 3 at B. Smallest winning margin was 7 seconds and my fastest race lap is down to a 1:57.09 which I reckon is good going 👍

Am so close to that 100 now 🤣🤣🤣 maybe tomorrow🤞

A clean sweep in my final race of the day...see you all tomorrow 👍👍

Well racing from the back is not an option anymore for Race A. The difference in speed between people is XL and got caught by people braking instead of lifting. One of them is on route to a lap around the moon. SR took a hit.

So racing with a dummy QT of 1.23 and start around top 5. The race where I could go against @Voodoovaj was the best I had. 3 way fight, did consistent lap, no mistake, it was amazing. Rest of the day is the opposite.

Was trying to not drive the meta but had to in order to advance in the qualy time! Did one race today and starting in P14 (before new time) and had people even in the 2:08's lol...



Was great fun though and just did a few laps in Alfa so confident I can find some more time

I must have just missed you, those driver you had there on the grid was the same folks I raced at about 20:00 CET. Raced twice today, finished if not last so second to last every time....

For qualy, try the GT-R, put all the brakes to the back. It's a monster! Maybe not 2:08's, but close.

Hi guys, first day of practice at Suzuka. Feeling good in the Alfa with a 2:09.655 always taking it easy at first corner (it helps to build consistance), but not anymore at last chicane. To break the '09 barrier is now the weekly target, but for racing I'll be ok when consistent on a low '09.

I've been in the game for quite a while, and have seen a bunch of glitched starts, but I haven't seen this before.
I started off at full-throttle before the timer even started counting down.
This is the view I had, in real time. I wasn't sure what to do.


I won it.

Had the weirdest start of a group B race today.
Was 11th or so in the grid, and in the pre-start phase, #9 & #10 on the grid hopped more than usually, then stopped dead around 3 seconds before the audio counter started, so around 5 secs before the race started....
Everyone behind them then stopped as well when they reached the position where they stopped one by one, so when the race started, the 6 of us just stood there, then started driving a few hundred meters behind the grid #1-#8, as they kept driving to the start line as usual for the rolling start.
Very odd...

I'm not sure if it's me still adjusting to a wheel or the new physics but I did find, last night, that in slow corners I found it faster to brake earlier and coast through the corner. The car rotated better and saved time over me dragging/diving for the apex which I guess is a sort of form of trail braking.

Specifically I am referring to the super tight left hander at Barcelona at the end of the back straight.

For me personally I got so deflated the last couple of weeks I actually sat and watched a few tutorials on YouTube from the likes of Digit and Doughnaitor, specifically around the area of trail braking and setting up my wheel properly. Can honestly say that it's beginning to show results now. I actually softened my brake pedal spring to help with this and it's made a massive difference to me. I'm not there yet but I am heading in the right direction now and I have far more confidence and that in turn makes me less prone to throwing my toys out of the pram when things are not going well. I have found myself much less inclined to rage quit these last 2 weeks and that can only be a good thing 👍 I have found the cars to be a bit more 'compliant' since the update but I still struggle with the Gr3 lambo without TC, I can manage nearly all the rest without it after some practice

Not going to lie, I was expecting Race A to be a nightmare but have had some pretty enjoyable races.

If anything, Race C has been a bit of a ram fest, which is particularly odd given it's a 9 lap race with the opportunity to pit and get out of traffic.

Yeah race C was like a destruction derby for me also. Whenever I try to pass somebody on the inside they just close the door like I don't exist. Then I guess they feel like I pushed them out of the way so they 'retaliate' by rear ending me off the track in the next corner. Rinse and repeat. I guess I should feel right at home when Wreckfest 2 releases.

The thing that confuses me is these people have S sportsmanship ratings...

How are they maintaining that while rear ending the whole field in turn 1 and taking out anyone who overtakes them?

It is way to easy to have a S SR rating. When you start in DR E and win a couple races from pole position you are already there.

Race A quali 1:19.8 so starting on pole every race, if you get through the first few corners intact then it's an easy win.

But otherwise a destruction derby with people thinking the race is won at T1, enjoying the car nonetheless!

Well, sometimes people dive for gaps on the inside that dont exist.
This is frequent on the Mercedes Arena (turns 3 & 4).

Im not saying that this is your case but Im seeing this everytime here and in the last sector of Fuji.

This is from Monday. I would just like some opinions on this as I feel I was robbed in this race intentionally. I watched it a few times and I think I was very fair with him and did not give any reason to receive what I did. First few laps are normal enough if you want to skip along to anywhere from lap 4 i suppose 😉. I know it might seem petty but I was a bit pissed off at the time, just as well my mic was off 🤣🤣🤣

Well he definitely robbed you, 100% drove you off the track intentionally. Guy was probably upset because you pushed him out of the chicane before your pitstop, even though he didn't get a penalty for track limits.

If you watch again, that was purely accidental and it cost me time more than him! I backed out of a few moves because I wanted a clean fair race but if you watch closely there is a couple of occasions where he definitely was not going to let me past

Yeah for sure that was accidental but you know how it works. From that point on he was probably like "F this guy, I am not letting him past whatever happens". Flawed human nature.

Yeah tricky one. You're not intentionally being dirty but you're a bit sloppy, not timing your passes right and you nerfed him several times so he was likely thinking you were doing it on purpose. Sometimes an open mic would help resolve situations, I raced a guy well last night, name is eggman or something, may be a member here. But I whacked him good but totally by accident and I wish I could have said "sorry mate my bad".

Can't get enough of Race A and the F1 even if only 1 in 5 races goes well. It's either a Home Run or a total disaster and it's not always because of the other, I'm my own deliver of pain.

But when it goes well, it's spectacular. Like this sector 3 and sector 1 side by side.



This morning feels like people dialed in with the car, lots of fast people and close racing.

Only one lap outside the 1:21s but the disparity is huge for a short race, time trial racing.

Most fun race in a while and a change from the Gr.3's, although no way they'd make this a Race B or C lol.

Reminds me of an incident I had yesterday at Suzuka. Coming up to from the hairpin towards spoon and the guy behind me gets a better exit, I stay to the inside of the sweeping right, so he slowly passes me on the left. Fair play I say to myself. Then all of a sudden he darts right in front of me and slams on the brakes, so of course I rear end him and receive critical damage. He'd got the overtake and plenty of room to take spoon, without sweeping in front of me, so I don't know what he was thinking - idiot! I'm sure he thinks I'm a moron too 😂

Yeah my chance at a win vanish on the first night, i was 2 full seconds faster than P2 on the grid and was punted at T1. Since then I am qualifying P12 with a 21.5 .... jebus.

I finally started to find my pace back a bit. Ignoring the absolutely top split lobbies in Europe where my 680th time puts me 10th....strip out the Asia region guys and NA/CA peeps I know it's upper split when one of my friends is top 10 QT at the mo and Glushko is on pole.. but let's ignore that.

I'm starting to find some pace again, a fair bit to gain but the right direction

Edit: thankfully dropped a split so not racing the top 15 in the world....that's nice.

I thought that was you, there is a another person from Scandinavia that has a similar name and you aren't on my friends list so wasn't sure.

I saw your GTR and was like "damn dude that's a knife to a gun fight, and I was running the NSX yesterday!)

I had the same thing, against these guys I'm gaining DR just finishing 9-14th such is there DR being that much higher!

Was good to race with you 🍻
