I’ve been changing up a gear at 7k revs, seems pretty effective, those boxer engines have some serious grunt low down

No prizes for guessing this weeks most popular livery, the legend lives on

Blue seems a popular colour! I was going to go with a proper blobeye WRC livery (preferably a Makinen) but it didn't look right without the proper bodywork, especially that rear wing. In the end I went for Toshi Arai's PWRC car because somebody had made a good replica

All you have to do is ~100 laps to memorize the track and you'll ace it. It's my favorite track!

Trying as hard as I can but no way can I get that NSX around the Glen at anything like the pace I can in the GTR. I just find it horrible at the bus stop, just wants to swap ends on me the whole time 🙈 Fair play to the guys running into the 52's with it!!! I am happy enough with my 54.2 in the Nissan for now....will try again tomorrow to break into the 53's, I think I can but that's about all I can do I reckon...I am no alien 🤣🤣🤣

I've been doing qualifying for race C this morning, in a bunch of different cars.
I am loving the Porsche Cayman. Really fun to drive
Watkins Glen might be the best track for that car.

Well this is a dilly of a pickle. Race B is your absolute litmus, bread and butter GT Sport fare and a real test of my progression with a wheel. Some of my best races have been Grp 3 Seaside but it can be utter chaos. The last corner is one of the best in the game, allowing multiple lines. However 10 laps at the Glen seems a very nice option too ... hmmmm.

Yes, Race B is a bit chaotic - lots of mistakes, with some dirty driving thrown in for good measure!

Race C seems to be bit of a snoozefest - the field gets quite spread out very quickly, and with no pit or tyre strategy you don't see many place changes. I finished 5th in a race today - 10 seconds behind P4, and 5 seconds in front of P6....

How can i report liverys? Ýesterday I met someone in Daily C, claiming he's an Ex-Soldier and pushing EDL / UKIP and even worse narratives. His car was fully packed with Tommy Robinson / Farage ****. Is this what we need in a game accessable for everyone in the world? Is this what racing is about?!

There's a report feature in the race lobbies. I'm preeeeetty sure it has "Report Livery" as an option on it.

@JK_GT well, if you feel like you need to report the livery, then do so. But you might make that guy mad. It's your call. I'm not a fan of Tommy Robinson either TBH.

If they're putting that sort of stuff on a GT7 livery, they're already pretty mad - but it's not relevant; you don't see who reported you, or for what (or even what the offence was) so it's not like there'll be any blowback.

Also pretty sure I saw @JK_GT in a GTWS race a little while back?

Gr4 NSX or any other MR car and I'm happy. It could have done with a stop and Med Hard requirement but it is what it is.

They might be mad but reports are all anonymous so they won't be angry at you. If they're running an EDL livery it stands to reason they're angry with most of the world anyway.

I came on here to say the exact same thing. Tried the NSX, even with TCS2 I just seemed to be on the edge of losing it every corner - not for me.

Returned to the GTR and had the best race ever. Started 3rd, got a penalty on the first lap going wide at the chicane. Dropped to 6th at the start of lap 2 and then I had 5 laps of pure racing joy. The front 6 were all within 2 secs of each other, so many places swapped and just unbelievably clean and fair racing from everyone. So many corners where we were going in side by side and bumper to bumper, and I was just clenching my cheeks thinking we're not all going to come out the other side alive 😫

But by some miracle I did come out alive and by lap 7 I was into the lead, where I managed to slowly pull out a 2s advantage to win. I'm just absolutely buzzing, not so much for the win, but to have a lobby full of clean close racing. I wish it could always be like this!

Believe it or not there are actual rules in the real world for racing livery design and sponsors (similar to the ASA guidelines) that extend beyond just prohibited categories (Tobacco etc)

A little bit of that Sophy AI power is more than capable of flagging these things for review.

Agreed. There are a whole bunch of trolling liveries that aren't even flirting with good taste but are offensive. Believe it or not there are actual rules in the real world for racing livery design and sponsors (similar to the ASA guidelines) that extend beyond just prohibited categories (Tobacco etc)

A little bit of that Sophy AI power is more than capable of flagging these things for review.

Wouldn’t it be nice, however if people didn’t make sexually explicit liveries so parents can have one, just one, game they don’t have to worry about their children seeing grotesque pictures or themes? Especially since it’s rated G for everyone.

Wow, that's disturbing and shocking to hear. What did you do about it? I can't believe it, surely they would have used something else to represent the car they were using in the race.

I will try and get a clip tomorrow, am working behind the bar atm and then i have to go to proper work 🙈. I spent a good 30 laps chasing a top 10 ghost earlier and running 0 TC and +2 BB. Its probably just me and how i am approaching the bus stop, i just cannot seem to get it to settle down for me. I have just watched @Tidgney's guide and he suggests using partial throttle through there to keep it stable, I am pretty sure I am off the throttle on entry and as soon as I clip that first inside kerb I am in trouble. Oddly enough I can get around the first lap on cold tyres perfectly, it's the next laps that get me.

I actually think I remember that as well. I'm all for freedom of expression and controversy brings a lot of publicity in the short term but sheesh some of it just borders on good (bad) taste rather than creative expression.

I was in a few WS races with the same driver who was running anime on his car, that were fully nude. Top half, bottom half, back... everything. I didn't even realize it until I watched the replay as we weren't close in-race.

Don't know or care who it was, turned the other cheek (pun intended), deleted the replay, moving on...

Anyone doing the subbie at nords. Turn abs to weak!!!! On default the car was behaving very odd under full break load but on weak it seems fine
