but to use Mt. Panorama to try to get it back up to S is probably not so easy

It's fine to use Bathurst as long as you don't mind being at the back just circulating.

We sometimes forget that for a lot of us we are constantly trading DR for SR or SR for DR.

If you aren't up the front by miles you will likely have to overtake peeps and that is the danger zone for SR, yes you get the DR for the place but the potential for "incident" is greatly increased, conversely we can avoid any positive/close/contact potential racing for SR but typically we might lose some DR sometimes.

It's a finite balancing act in all but the cleanest of lobbies

Just do Bathurst and pit lap 1. I rana small overcut strategy in my last race, most folks pit on lap 4 and I had clean air so really buckled down for 2 laps and ran decent pace on worn rubber and I came out in front of 3 of the 4 guys I was racing.

Lake maggiore is being really good to me this week it’s definitely helping that I’m really in tune with my Porsche and the track, improved my QT again to 1.55.992 and then again 1.55.936 and I think that helped me in race, literally had this Porsche 4 tenths from my rear bumper for 3 agonising laps until I had a 1sec gap

It's against my religion not to race at Bathurst but LM is a track I look forward to on a wheel. The awkward time penalty chicane is very difficult with a pad and I used to get eaten ALIVE entering the banked corner so look forward to carrying far more speed through there than I used to.

I need to get some racing done there sooner than later. Absolutely love this course and was one of my favorites in 'Sport. Good to drive AND race on. Ran some qualifiers but have been distracted playing with my 'Bird...😁

Good heavens - I won my first Gr3 race in forever!

I've been struggling with Gr3 since the physics and FFB update, but the 458 on mediums feels pretty good around LM - l love the flow of the track too.

Unfortunately I had to quit the next two races due phonecalls, and lost enough DR to drop me to B/S.

Unfortunately I had to quit the next two races due phonecalls, and lost enough DR to drop me to B/S.

I had a spider drop down on a single web line RIGHT in front of me two nights ago and just hang there for the fun of it, as in right in my apex eyeline. Now being an Aussie in Canada, spiders here don't phase me but jeeeeeesus.
