Congratulations for another victory. That Porsche RSR car is a strong one and it has a loud engine/motor. I know because I had the TV turned up loud during the day and durn, it sounds like a mechanical symphony every time I drive it around the track. What DR level are you at now, I haven't looked at your page in a good while. I hope the rest of your weekend goes smooth and you'll earn some more wins. Let us know if you do.

@mellofello9 Yes, some straights can be tricky especially when you're close to a cluster of cars/opponents to distract you while you're racing. Dangerous at times.
Hi buddy, floating around high and low B as always nearing BS currently, hope all is good your end

@Goanaut I say the same for IRL driving at I do for videogame driving; you should know how to use Manual even if there's an Auto option!
I drive manual in real life (is very normal in my country), and it gives me the feeling of controlling my car better. But I wouldn't say that I'm better in gearing than modern dual clutch automats are ofcourse, as newmedia_dev says.

I'm happy to experience that I now also have better control of my car with MT in GT7.

Something else btw: that one website (gtsh rank or something?) is not online anymore? Is there a way to know what next weeks daily races are going to be?

Thank you - still a couple of tenths to gain 🙈 It's so frustrating watching the time slip away after mucking up an exit

I'm having pretty good races on B - well until the pink Spanish guy appeared - he's trying to be clean, but he's being taken out by many people he has probably wronged in the past. What a pity 🤣

I finally won on Race A - had several where I've mis-timed the overtake and ended up bumping P1 ahead, and losing myself another place at the same time 😭

Having spent the week at Bathurst watching Sciroccos stream past my Mazda, I finally tried it myself - result, it was faster than the Mazda for me too! 😂

Pulls better up the mountain, and is faster through the twiddly bits at the top too.

That really is some pace, I’ve been in the 458 today because I think it has more grunt than the Porsche in the first sector,

Although best I’ve done in it is a 1.55.815 and in between I managed to improve by PB to 1.55.715 in the Porsche would you believe but in race trim the 458 just seem to be faster 🤷‍♂️

Glad F1 is back and won’t ruin any results for anyone, 😁🤣

I am really really really starting to tire of the utterly appalling driving standards recently.

It’s like the worst sweaty version of Wipeout. I’m not sure if it’s just easy physics and poor decision making or just these peeps are utter f wits.

I had it today in a Manu cup race, 1st was behind me I’m litterally going to pit in 2 corners time (also had set the fastest lap of the race) and nope couldn’t wait 2 corners. And this was a slightly longer race.

Move over to the dailies, and now the current trend is to just lean on cars everywhere, don’t back out just lean on them.

It’s utterly horrible to race in, it’s rage inducing and also a really sad reflection on what a wider audience considers racing.

It winds me up when these are the same kids moaning it’s not real enough and it’s simcade etc but they can’t even control or drive the bloody arcade car :/

Breathe Glen, Breathe.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday? I’m also a bit pissed off my new BMX won’t be here till Thur/Fri and also my second week of giving up smoking after nearly 30 years. Short tempered ish at the mo.

I know what you mean.

I'm not sure if the reference is directly to Race C, bit i think I've decided Thursday is my tolerance threshold. The grids I was getting involved in were lower and lower DR, yet the quali times were **** hot. This always sets the alarm bells ringing because in my mind it means people are getting used to the combo, and getting quicker, but unfortunately speed doesn't equate to good driving etiquette (and vice versa).

I enjoyed all my days of racing this week until yesterday and the day before.

You said it... rage-inducing.
