GT7 gets boring now…

That isn't exactly a great suggestion when the entire point of this game was a return to the series roots, that being a mostly single player game that somehow has less events and races then the previous, online focused title?
That’s the points. Than, we wouldn’t had needed GT7 and could have stay at GT Sport.

We need online lobbys with random drop in drop out races, this would make gt7 so much more interesting!

Plus photomode and online have been part of the franchise since 2004 and 2006 respectively.
Again, not a great suggestion when online is either the same Sport Mode that was in GT Sport, almost completely wholesale, right down to the abhorrent penalty system that Polyphony have made no effort to try and fix, and lobbies that are an absolute joke riddled with problems and connection issues, and Scapes is more or less just photoshopping cars onto high quality PNG's.

Pick your favourite car and a couple of favourite tracks that have reasonable payouts and test / fettle / race and enjoy the game.
This 100%.

You like driving and cars? Go get a car and drive it. If you need money incentive or someone to set it up for you, then you didn't really want to play anyways. Sport mode, lobbies, arcade races, replaying imperfect challenges, golding everything...tons to do. If you've got TCS, ASM or CSA on, TURN THEM OFF and challenge yourself to get better without them.

I just don't how people "run out of things to do" when most of us have been playing Sport for SEVEN YEARS and still hadn't become bored with it by the time 7 came out.

And no offense to OP or those that enjoy FH5, but in my opinion, it's a total pile of garbage and in no way should be compared to even an imperfect game like GT7, or any other sim based racing game for that matter. FH5 is literally the most boredom someone could create while having so many awesome cars. Such a waste.

Absolutely! They help me enjoy games to the fullest while providing challenges I would never go for if a trophy didn't exist for it.

Edit: And it's a great ego boost too! lol
Oh, good to know. I would agree with trying crazy stuff. :D It's very true if trophies are good. I have only one platinum trophy in 15 years and it was from easy game during normal gameplay.

After no 2 moths. Like Horizon 5 for me.
What about 3 moths, will it be something greater then? Oh, wait, you said no 2 moths...whatever, I'm confused.

you know the game is in a bad state when someone literally suggests to take photos when you log into a video game LMAOOOOOO
I mean, it is a valid feature, and one of the few flights of whimsy from Kaz's mind that you can absolutely say worked out.

The issue is...not only is it an absolute joke to suggest when there's such a lack of worthwhile single player content, when the game was advertised as a return to form in that front, but also Scapes simply isn't as robust as the original Photo Mode was when they created specific environments where you could control where the cars were. As I said, Scapes is practically photoshopping your car onto various high quality PNG's and it doesn't have the same draw at all.

How good MC review said. It's pure gold there. :D

"I'm a dad and I'm not trying to spend my hard earned real money to buy additional virtual vehicles. Nor do I have time to grind hours of races daily. I get with the car scene it's pay to play but I'm already a car enthusiast and pay to play in real life."

If you like online racing, go there. But I assume you don't, because otherwise you wouldn't be here asking would you!?
Photo mode and liveries isn't exactly having fun in a racing game, even if it's a gimmick some like. Again, if it was your thing you wouldn't be here obviously asking.

I would be pleased if in the next content update, aside from new tracks and cars, we would get more missions, a lot more... Drafting missions, 1 lap magics, more overtaking missions, more fuel management missions.
Drag races to become an actual feature of the game and not something just part of a single mission.

Otherwise, just a few championships (not individual races, screw that crap), with actual challenging AI with qualifying finally introduced into the game (free practice would be a great bonus) and propper grid starts would be nice.

A championship imitating the WEC, with 5 or 6 Endurance races, again, with propper AI and qualifying. This would also be great, it would be time consuming but if the challenge is there, it certainly will be worth it.

So many possibilities to keep us entertained... One-make races or championships... Brand-make races or championships.

Custom races can only get you so far, and again, it's not the same experience. When a game is made, it is made with tasks for you to complete and have fun doing them. This is my experience with all types of games, Gran Turismo is no exception.

Thinking about it while writing here... just leave the game for a few months and come back when it's packed with a lot more content. Yeah, I know, you, and us, paid 80€ for this game to be a full game... But it's the way it is my friend. There really is not much advice to give you.

So I have friends! That alone doesn't make me bored in the game, I can race with them or, what I personally enjoy the most, compete against their times in the CE and try to be better than them. If I'm faster then I can still try to beat my own times OR I'll look for other friends who are even faster ;P!

Well, I'll probably have enough to do with it for months and maybe years! The only thing I liked better about the FH5 was that I could make the car look much more individual, I like that a lot about the FH5 or NfS, otherwise I really can't think of anything else that would even be remotely comparable or even better.

Why don't you challenge yourself to beat your existing time trial times? Set up custom races to drive your favourite cars or do time trial with your favourite cars.

You can pretty many remakes every race in any GranTurismo game with a custom race if it has the car. If polyphony would allow us to save and share custom races, this game would have infinite content. The only caveat is the race would force you into a car.
I have had great fun making them since they solved the locked tires . A Corvette vs Viper race at laguna Seca was amazing when i slapped racing hards on the slower C4 , the C4 was holding it's own against the modern viper and c6 .

After no 2 moths. Like Horizon 5 for me.

After completing all menu books and doing missions for missions and so on..

PLEASE bring inside new elements for the game, not simply new races.

The FUTURE of Gran Turismo. Who thinks the same?

Have you tried custom races?

Keep credits coming in doing with big payout event or 2 once a day to keep credits rolling in and have variety through customs or online.

Otherwise, not sure gt is the series for you anyway beyond a few months. Only variety that will come anyway is via new races, then perhaps tracks or cars. But assume you haven't driven all current ones to death already??

OP feels the game is light on shipped content and engagement, subjectively and objectively versus previous games. Everyone else suggests OP needs to make his own fun. Have you re-beaten your lap times? Have you taken photos? Have you drawn any liveries? Have you gotten the platinum trophy? Have you created fantasy races using custom events? Have you rinsed out multiplayer races, without mentioning GT Sport? :indiff::indiff:

It’s perfectly normal to get bored by something and then move on to something else. Gran Turismo 7 will most likely get a content update in the future and that would be a good opportunity for you to get back.

I won’t ever get bored because custom and arcade races will always keep me engaged, and the occasional online race if I feel inclined. Some of us kept playing GT Sport for just about 5 years without getting bored. The OP apparently doesn’t get enough enjoyment out of just racing for racings sake and that’s ok, different strokes for different folks.
