A remix would be nice of that. As long as it's not a dubstep or trap remix:ouch:

Oh yes a new version is welcomed, there is an Opera-ish part (which was sung in the GTPSP ending trailer and the gamescom or E3 GT6 trailer, the part with the vision GTs), always though this part is an intro to a new MOTC version.

I think we will see something new from Daiki Kasho, which makes me happy :gtpflag:
It's unconfirmed if Daiki will be coming back for GT7, he hasn't got any word from PD yet.

GT6 music was composed last minute, they decided to get Daiki a little late so he had a hard time delivering the music on time, but he managed.

Source: I do have some sort of contact with Daiki.

Imagine hearing some soft piano composition, and then, you start hearing the opening to this...

Then once the first chorus hits... "GRAN TURISMO 7: THE REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR" And then, once you hit the menu, this hits...

"Welcome to the world of Gran Turismo 7! An exciting racing career awaits you, filled with intense racing action on a worldwide scale. To get you started, let's start by getting your first car! We recommend you buy the 2015 Nissan Versa."

Hm, explains why we didn't hear him until the Gamescom trailer... Well, its still a year or two away from GT7, so its obvious its a little early to be asking him.

If its Facebook you're contacting him through, surprising that he only responds to you. I think he should be a little open more and not just shy away from the public like this. =/

Highway to Hell by AC/DC or Highway Star by Deep Purple...
Classic rock, not all those something-core bands that are infecting rock music these days...

Amen to that.
Incidentally, got Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and Alter Bridge's Fortress in PS3 HDD. I get a funny sensation when Cry of Achilles comes on right as a race begins....same with Flight Of Icarus....

i dont get all the electronic music most are suggesting
ok i am born in 1972 and i grow up listening deep purple, led zeppelin, pink floyd and other rock bands but i think that electronic music is more suitable for a wipeout style game
cars are more a mechanical thing and IMHO it's better to have a rock soundtrack on a driving game (even if i usually listen to the classical music radio in The Crew)...
This song Higway Star from Deep Purple is IMHO amazing for an intro...

I imagine the cars rolling out the boxes with the intro... getting in position on the grid... and the song explodes when the race starts

"Nobody gonna take my car, I'm gonna race it to the ground
Nobody gonna beat my car, it's gonna break the speed of sound
Ooh it's a killing machine it's got everything
Like a driving power, big fat tires, everything

I love it, I need it I bleed it
Yeah it's a wild hurricane
Alright, hold tight. I'm a highway star"

Perfect!!!

im going to have to go with something by M.O.V.E because, it worked for Initial D. Also eurobeat would work well.

More trailer music would be nice? Like this song.

The actual trailer will end up having something like that. As for the opening cut-scene thing? it will probably end up being another pop-song. i hope they choose a good one! :D

Many people just suggest on what they like, which is fine but most of the songs I feel aren't really up to the feel and build-up of Gran Turismo 7. They also have to appeal to a pretty large audience buying the game. The one Foals song posted is fantastic-it's a well-known band, that Gran Turismo-y feel is there, and it isn't as niche as most of the suggestions in here.

The reason why I don't like the typical run-of-the-mill Monstercat dubstep/trance/house/whatever song for an intro is because it isn't really unique enough and most of those songs themselves are very meh at best.

Prog rock just doesn't appeal to a large enough audience. It's a bit too niche (unless we can get Mars Volta or Rush, then it's a different story.)

But then I don't want a song that is too popular. GO! by My Chemical Romance was okay but it already was popular before hand, and that kind of hampers the feel of it.

Then again I would also like PD to make their own song with Daiki Kasho, which is completely fine as he makes quality stuff.

But i dunno, I'm just a fan. :P What do I know?

But my suggestions are:

Synrise by Goose

I feel that this could be a candidate, because it has a great build up to it and a great ending possible at different points of the song, it feels very unique and it can set itself apart, and Goose is already pretty well known also, but not to the point where it would kind of bring it down. Also, Goose already made two appearances on two different installments: GT5P with 'Check', and GT5 with a remix of 'Words'. I would love to see a GT intro to this, and it could be pretty likely.

Never Catch Me by Flying Lotus

This is also pretty likely because FlyLo is gaining a lot of respect in the music industry as of late and he has also made a lot of video game appearances. I kind of contradict my own points with the 'not too popular' with the inclusion of Kendrick Lamar, but still. This is less likely because I feel it's a bit less suited for an intro. Maybe for a trailer, as the intro of the song is pretty 'to the point' and doesn't waste a lot of time.
