Are you using the Sony adaptor box to connect to PC?Thanks for the reply, mate.
Yes, tried it and no luck. I still have hope it's something with the ps5 port... They are easier and cheaper to find than psvr2 over here...

Have you tried rear ports? use a short USB3 to USBC?Thanks for the reply, mate.

Are you plugging it into a pro or an OG PS five? The pro has two USB-C‘s on the front but only the left one can drive the PSVR2. On the OG you only have the one option.Hi guys. Sorry to ask this question here. I admit I'm in a very grim mood.
I was playing GT7 2 days ago. Quit the game, turned off the headset, and now when I plug it on again I get this message.
I've connected it on 2 pcs and Windows recognises some device is connected but the port can't give enough power.
Already unplugged and plugged again the headset portion of the cable and no luck. No red light on the headset either.
Since I play on my living room I have to disconnect it. I have been using it without problem since launch.
Any clues? The USB-C Port on the ps5 seems to work. At least charges controllers and phones.
I don't know what to do, apart from testing it on another ps5. And here they don't abound. Neither do warranty
Hi. Thanks for the reply. OG ps5 and plugged it as always to the usbC port on the front without any adapter or or extenders. Are you plugging it into a pro or an OG PS five? The pro has two USB-C‘s on the front but only the left one can drive the PSVR2. On the OG you only have the one option.
Other question is are you using an USB extension cord because it does not work with an extension cord.
AFAIK the only port with video output is the USB CHave you tried rear ports? use a short USB3 to USBC?
I don't have it, that's why I mentioned that is was expected that it wouldn't work on PC, but in some way the fact that the PC detects the device makes me think that at least the cable could be ok. Wednesday I can go to a friend's house and test his ps5 (he also has psvr2).Are you using the Sony adaptor box to connect to PC?
The things that stood out to me the most were the mirrors and the in-car HUD and finer details of things like the dashboard gauge fonts being sharper than I remember.Sorry, despite several of you have noticed some improvement even prior to any GT7 Pro patch, but color me skeptical....
I guess I will not believe it until I see it with my own eyes...
I have been grinding La Sarthe for thousands of miles since last Feb, so I feel confident I can detect the minute changes or improvement, if only I have a PS5 Pro to test it out for myself.
Actually, I do concede that with the extra oomph under the hood of the PS5Pro, I can very much accept to believe:The things that stood out to me the most were the mirrors and the in-car HUD and finer details of things like the dashboard gauge fonts being sharper than I remember.
You don't notice any differences there?
You don't think it runs smoother under heavy load, such as Tokyo grind in the mist at the start of the race behind a bunch of cars?
On flat screen it's definitely smoother than OG PS5, none of those lost frames anymore. In VR it's the same, very smooth and consistent where before I noticed some chugging like on flat screen in those types of areas and scenarios.
It could be placebo and I'm well aware of that, so I'm not going to make any claims of fact but that's my impressions.
If I had to testify in court under penalty of perjury, I would say I notice an improvement. LOL
It would be nice if PD came out and clarified but I'm not holding my breath for that.
Yeah not sure about distant objects like that. I didn't notice any difference there and there's still LOD pop-in like before.Actually, I do concede that with the extra oomph under the hood of the PS5Pro, I can very much accept to believe:
1) The reduction in pop up or pop out of features.
2) Mirrors reflection improvement
3) ability to run smoother under heavy load as you said.
4) HUD and interior details
What I am more reluctant to believe are the details very far down the road, close to the horizon when your eyes are looking way out and up ahead the road (in VR). I don't believe there can be any improvement due to the lens' hardware and spec...
I would very much welcome anyone to prove wrong, I only ask for it so that I could justify eventually upgrading to the Pro, until then I will wait. (personal choice not to keep up with the Jones yet)
Crossing fingers with get a patch and there would be more goodies for those with Pro and/or even those with VR on OG PS5...
