GT7 September Update Predictions

You know, we actually used to complain about the exclusive EA Porsche contract. Now we complain about too may Porsches. So GTPlanet.:gtpflag:
I'm not sure a roofless variation of a fictional car we already have should count as more. I mean sure, in the most pedantic technical sense it is a +1. Personally a vgt would be the furthest thing in my mind when I, likely many, hoping for more porsche would expect.

Is it wishful thinking that the Porsche VGT will be one of 4 cars? Since last month we knew the Dior car was coming and there were 3 others.

I hope this is the case as from what I can see the only difference is that it's a roadster.

There are a lot of race cars in particular that have been scanned but do not appear on that list.
Which ones ? i only know about the Tesla, which of course may be not in the game files yet, and for sure the GR Corolla will be added too like the Yaris in Gt Sport.

Porsche 959?
Porsche 928?
Porsche 944 Turbo?
The new Porsche 992 911 Turbo S or the new 992 911 GT3 or the older 991.2 911 GT2 RS?

Or...

... a roadster version of an already existing fictional car in the game?

"Yeah, definitely the last option, far more exciting than some crap real life cars that no one cares about..."
->Said no one ever.

How many Porsches are in the game that are not VGTs?

These may be the other two cars:

The full-size version for LeMans and the Mini for Brands Hatch.

I mean, I'm pretty sure PD weren't like "hey Porsche, we feeling really lazy this month, can you pretty please make a version of your VGT without a roof so we wouldn't have to do much work to add it?"
There's definitely some sort of a contract between a car manufacturer and PD when they collab to create a VGT, and I'm pretty sure PD have to add that VGT to the game.

The added cars in all up to now updates make it seem like PD could be short in modelling capacity. And save work/time by including VGT's and duplicates.

Update 1: BRZ = partly copy of 86GT
Update 2 and 3: VGT
Update 4: no duplicates or VGT but the 918 spyder was released with bugs (no hybrid power and FrontWD not working)
Update 5: Cayman GT4 = partly copy of GT4 clubsport
Update 6: VGT

The positive side is that the 2 other cars will probably be real and original cars.

I'll forgive PD for everything if the 3rd car is the LFA, though.
I won't if they screw the sound...

However, given how the sound in GT5 and GT6 was pretty darn close to the real thing, and those two games had overall garbage car sounds, it's very unlikely they will screw this one up. It's also Toyota's (and this might extend to Japan) pride and joy in the supercar world. PD will not mess this one up for sure.

But they did miss very distinctive howling of the Carrera GT.

I believe that was because the Carrera GT used to record sound for the game was straight-piped. Still, it's quite unfortunate.
I hope you're right about the LFA's sound, because the Zonda R got absolutely mangled.

Nah, I predict a VGT model F-150 with the anemic 4.6 2 valve engine and Fix Or Repair Daily rules: every day when you log in you gotta take it to GT Auto for an engine rebuild.
Oh and it would have a secondary fusion powered drive unit.
