Which car? I just had my canis off road and other off road cars with front wheels off the ground and no spinning at all. And when you launch them on dirt you see that no dirt gets kicked up by the front wheels.

Trevor's truck will one wheel peel up front. As will others.

The 4x4 system does suck but its there. Off the ground no they won't spin which is dumb but on the ground they do.
 
I hope your right, but I'm yet to find a car that kicks up dirt from the front wheels. I'll test Trevor's truck.

Quite a few do. I've had a few SUVs that will lay 4 strips of rubber if you peel out.

Yea just tested on the road, front wheels will spin on road but not on dirt. My Canis off road barely even spins the fronts on the road but other 4x4s will lay down rubber easy when you launch. In general it looks like the 4x4 system is crap but hey they still climb hills ok

Anyways I got the 1930s truck. You can totally hot rod it. Awesome.
 
I cannot remember the name at the moment, but the one that looks like a Gallardo with Zonda exhaust drives absolutely excellent!

That Range Rover Sport looking thing has full time AWD (It's called the Baller 2 by Gallivanter). That thing conquers Chilliad with just road tires. Fully modified it's a beast. However serious rock crawling isn't its strong suit.

A lot of 4wd trucks can switch between 2wd and 4wd. I'm going to assume they tried to model this.

I know all about 4x4 trucks and no they didn't model this. I even thought maybe you could add a 4x4 locker to the trucks but that's not the case either. Some of them "look" like a 4x4 but they just simply aren't. They are RWD only. Like the big pickup truck that's lifted.

Just made a sad discovery for those who like off-roading. None of the off road cars are 4x4. Even the special "off road" versions with massive front diffs aren't sending any power to the front wheels. LAME :(

We have been discussing this for a little while. Get the Canis. That is for sure a true 4x4 vehicle with at least a front open diff. So that means at least one of the front tires will be spinning. In fact I think Trevors vehicle is another type of Canis.

**** i modded michael car immediate before doing the mission where by his family leaves him with his son taking the car....i only drove it once which is to pick him.
Trevor's truck too got missing after i modded it during the scouting mission. Although i got the truck back,it was the stock one and not the modded one.....

But it still lacks some things for 4WD cars. Hope Rockstar will make an update on this.

I also noticed this but there are 2 of them. Is it the Hilux or the Ford you are referring about?

That reminds me, can the characters mod their cars themselves? Michaels Audi-lookalike was tune with a new horn and wheels, but I haven't done it - and nobody else has any access to my Playstation... :odd:
 
Michael didn't but his son did. There was an email or text about when he gives it back. Something about it still being an old man's car despite the modifications he's done.
