Some gangster NPC scrub just yelled "I'm a :censored:ing marine!" at me.

So the army is accepting random empty-headed Grove Street Ballas now? Okay then.

I thought only the military and Professionals are supposed to shout that. Could be a glitch.

Speaking of The Professionals, I ran Rooftop Rumble last night and noticed a female crew member. Now, I'm a firm believer in equal opportunity employment and the same pay for the same work, but they seem like the last group to cross gender lines. I mean, I even get gangs having female members during jobs--more feet on the ground--but given the implied military background and the sexist aura about elite mercenary groups, I was absolutely flabbergasted.

I don't understand the system for determining how much repairs cost in LSC, mainly for cars that come from Benny's. I can take any normal car that is completely destroyed and completely repair it to perfect condition for less than $500, but if I take my custom Chino that is literally spotless except for a tiny scratch on the underside of the rear bumper, it costs me $2280...
I'm assuming the vehicles from Benny's use a different formula to determine repair costs. Kind of like how the Elegy and Insurgent have abnormally high costs for insurance.

At least it makes sense for the Insurgent to have an unusually high insurance cost. If you blow up an Insurgent, you surely did it deliberately because it can take multiple explosions (Water is a different story though :P)

Benny however charges $2k to "repair" a Banshee in pristine condition... This is illogical.

I've got a $7k bounty on me, join me if you want it. I'm in a public session with 5 other people in it at the moment. I'll update this post when it's taken.

Edit: Survived.

The problem is that all of the cars from Benny's have very little ground clearance, which means you will scrape the bottom of the car on curbs and such.

I've never seen Benny's, but I know the ramp into the Rockford Hills LSC was an issue with the Turismo R I had early on to rack up Super class wins for part unlocks. Pristine car in need of repair after the simple act of driving in.

I just had a weird experience.

Daily Objectives: Participate parachute jump, mod a vehicle, kill 20 players.

Completed first two, after I figured it had to be a 'sanctioned' parachute jump, just not stealing a helo and jumping out of it. Stopped by the LSC in the Grand Senora Desert, once I came out, I saw a blip nearby. I still need 19 more kills, let me go get one.

jeremys69 was just walking in circles, and would re-spawn nearby.

Once I had killed him 18 more times, each time, he'd re-spawn and walk in circles.

Actually used each of the different melee methods, and won the melee kills challenge, and got a 'Melee Murderer' award to go with it.

In fact, he's still there, at the east end of Sandy Shores Airfield, walking in circles.

AFK...I do the same thing. Position the controller so that it'll either move the camera, or walk in circles. I do this so it won't kick me from the session after 15 minutes. Except I only do this in an apartment or garage.

I used players that are AFK to win the sniper kills challenge with a score of 23 lol

I would have never thought that someone would actually band the controller in the open in the public. Oh well, someone got free kills, and I would have done the same thing if I was in there.

I found someone once that kept going in and out of stealth mode. They were afk the majority of the time except for a minute or so when they got in a car and drove for a few hundred feet and then got out, only to start going in and out of stealth mode again... Was really weird.

Guys should I buy a Rhino or a Valkyrie or a dinghy ?

Rhino is good for rampaging in Free mode. The Valkyrie is basically only good if you always have 1 or more friends who can operate the guns. I don't use boats enough Online, usually only if I find one somewhere.

Since when do we have NPCs online that talk and it shows it with subtitles?

I was driving along the Pacific highway towards Zancudo and as I came towards the bridge that leads to the tunnel I heard someone screaming something like 'Hey let go of that' and I had the accompanying subtitles. I didn't stop to go and see what it was because I was VIP and someone was chasing me.

But that was a first for me.

If I join, I'll give it all back to you if you'd prefer.

Yeah, it's a little weird seeing them amongst heavily armed PMC members. You'd expect them to be in an office, probably handling legal matters, making sure people don't talk, and other things. Somewhat like Karen in the IAA.

Just like every team based competitive videogame/gamemode

Yes, but it still doesn't change the fact that its annoying and sucks to deal with. It doesn't matter which game I play- it still gets irritating knowing I'm going to lose because I'm stuck with morons. On the bright side, I at least don't deal with it often on GTA though so there's that.

A few odd things happened to me while playing GTA yesterday, 2 of them happened while I was playing with a friendly low level random that I was playing with for a couple hours.

This first one was when I was by myself. It's similar to the one I posted a few months ago where I got out of my Sandking SWB while another car blocked my door and I died as I got out.

I don't even know how or why this happened.

If you watch this whole video, you can see that I went up with one other person and no one else got in the helicopter. As I landed on the top of the Maze Bank tower, a random just appears out of nowhere. I didn't realize it at first as I thought it was just the random that I'd been playing with until I saw that he was just getting out of the helicopter. He disappeared a few seconds after I saved the video...

One more run of Pac Standard with 30% cut and I'll get myself a Buzzard. I was originally going to get to 2.75 million to be able to do VIP stuff after buying it, but I'll just register the moment before I get it and hope I can get back up to 1 million before the timer expires...

I have a friend who hosts Pacific Standard once per day on weekdays and twice per day on Saturdays and Sundays, so we make a lot of money out of this. One crew member modded hundreds of millions of dollars into his account on last gen and always takes 0% cut. Just more $$$ for us :P

I like the idea of being able to hang outside Grangers, the two Insurgents and the two Roosevelts.

I just don't like how you need to fill up the inside first before you can do that. This is in need of address in the next patch, if it were up to me.

And also adding the ability to customize the Guardian's license plate, come on, R*!

You do not idle out when watching the television. To stay in a session simply go into your house or yacht and sit down on the settee and watch the telly. You have to have it set on one of the regular stations, not watching your CCTV cameras or other players in session(including on the Weasel News Channel) and you will not idle out.

I enjoyed an extra 22 hours or so of snowfall in game because of this, although players who joined me after the snow ended did not see the snow. They would see my car covered in snow, but not the snow in the environment. Other players saw this;

It always annoyed me that the NOOSE officers would hang off of the Granger, even during an active pursuit where they would likely fall off the truck.
