So, if I wanted the Sultan RS, would it be the right time to buy one? Is the performance still terrible?

It's decent on stunt tracks, and on shorter tracks with a lot corners. It's acceleration is good and it's handling is predictable, but it simply isn't fast enough to hold up on long straightaways.
 
I'd say that the only Benny's cars one could buy for performance are the Sabre Turbo Custom and the Banshee 900R. The former is the best car in the Muscle class right now, while the Banshee 900R has good top speed and handling, but if you're going for top speed you would be better off getting the 811 instead, which is currently the fastest land vehicle. The rest of the cars Benny can work on (especially the lowriders) are mostly irrelevant in races.
 
The Sultan RS is a car you buy because it is a SULTAN FREAKING RS!

I honestly think it is one of the more fun cars in the game and because so many people have one, it's nice to see all the different styles. I know that @STI9 influenced the style of my Sultan because I wasn't 100 on mine when I first modified it. With the discount it's a buyers market, heck you can even come online while some of us are and test one of ours.
 
I think my Sultan RS is one of my favourite cars. It looks great, has tonnes of customisation and looks good in black/gold. I like the way it drives and for the most part you wont see 2 the same.
Get it whilst its on sale, go over to the sultan appreciation thread on GTAF or look through snapmatics thread here for Sultans. Once you see a few you will need one.
 
I only bought the Sultan RS because you could put an itasha livery on it. Now that I have my Omnis, it's going to collect dust.
 
Bought it last night and modified it. Took a huge chunk out of my wallet though, but I got $50,000 back from stunt races with randoms.

Who's idea was it to have the NOOSE officers hang off the side of the Granger anyways? Yeah, there's some truth to it, but they keep getting knocked off. :lol:

I did some Rockstar Newswire digging and found out that warehouses have in fact never been discounted. I looked at every entry from June 7th to now. So unless I missed anything, no, there hasn't been a sale on them.
 
I'll buy one when they discount them. Not as fussed to buy one sooner. Same way I acquired my HQ and decked it out with Ice Interior.
 
Actually, on second thought, I'd have to make even more money to be able to buy a large warehouse, even on discount. I'm hovering just above $1 million right now and I don't want to completely drain my bank account because then I won't be able to buy crates. I currently have the Derriere Lingerie Backlot Warehouse (medium) + Maze Bank West office + Del Perro Heights 20 apartment, all within walking distance of each other; it's a really neat setup. I don't know what's compelling me to get a large warehouse, but maybe I don't need it after all... :odd:

They have done discounts for delievery vehicle upgrades before. But never have they done discounts for the warehouses.

Oh! I was certain that they had it. But maybe it was on offices?
 
With that rumor of a Liberty City expansion, I hope that we are getting new Radio Stations as well. It would be strange to have the same stations playing on the other side of the country, since most of them aren't on a satellite service, like Rebel Radio and their physical tower. If this isn't the case, I would be fine if R* finally put Self Radio on consoles.
 
I'd love them to do like with games on PC ala Euro Truck and just use real world ones and have them stream.

Damn, I wanted to post that. :P Just adding that the Premium Stunt race this week is Downtown Loop, exclusive to the Banshee 900R (which is also 25% off). I might consider renovating my office thanks to this neat discount. No warehouse sale though, and it's the second time we get one on offices :indiff:

I saw it on GTAF. I've been considering the 900R for ages but I'm going to get it now.
