Hot Property: you can swim it to cheese it, but not use a Sub/Kraken.

I don't know the details of HP, but if you can't use a Kraken, get some rebreathers and dive to the bottom of the ocean. Nobody can kill you there, unless they have a sub or chase you with a knife, which I doubt they'll try.

The way I beat Hot Property is to use a Hydra and go to the top of the map.

Or if I'm closer to it: the subway. If you all recall that one picture that's somewhere on this thread of me in an Armored Limo while in the subway. Some people need to be educated about these.

I disagree. The more griefers we leave in the dark about these escape routes, the better.

I had a heist going with some friends but we haven't got round to completing it for months. I kinda just wanna get it out the way because Lester keeps pestering me with it! I've done the heist before but just want the extra cash! Anybody wanna tag along? :)

Platform: PS4
Heist: Prison Break Heist.

Tag me, quote this message or Inbox me if you're interested and we'll get something together, sort out a time, e.t.c. :D

I'm so pissed right now. I was in a tiny pub session (Only 3 other players) and did a vehicle source mission. I got a Cargobob and went to steal the lime green Feltzer from the Chumash tennis courts. As I was flying back to my warehouse (No, I didn't go straight up, I just made a beeline over the beach thinking I'll be safe) the car unhooked! Of course it had to happen right over water too! Why did this have to happen?!

The Cargobob unhooking its load is relevant to how bad the peer-to-peer system is. It's prone to disconnect when you're in a room with players. I once had to botch 2 sourcing missions due to this and the car's repair cost being too high for my taste, while only having another guy doing MC stuff.

And he was pretty far away too. But lesson learned: use El Cargobob alone.

Most likely it happened because of someone else in the lobby clicked "export". Thats what we found out months ago, and even wrote it here in this thread.

@Custom878 :lol:

So far I've gotten lucky with the Cargobob unhooking. I've carried many things with it and they usually unhook while I'm flying over land, and my obscenely sturdy Panto (which is most probably on that hook) takes almost no damage from the impact. Maybe it's the suitcases on the roof cushioning the blow. :P

You better start remembering because I need that.
I've got a similar color car. I used Galaxy blue metallic with a saxon or dark blue pearl. Doubt it will be exactly the same as someplayadude's but try it and then experiment.

I think I figured it out....I think...my guess is it's Dark Blue Metallic/Ultra Blue Pearl. it seems you can use Blue Metallic/Racing Blue Pearl as well though its a bit darker:
(also shameless self-promotion of my new track "Easton Pointe SC" coming soon)

That GT Anniversary blue is gorgeous and it'll work on any car. I might have to repaint my purple Banshee now.

It also unhooks when another player starts a selling mission.

So, is it a glitch or a "quirk" with I/E missions? :indiff:

EDIT: Oh jesus. I just realized I have to do 32 vehicle cargo missions on top of "Arms Embargo" to get the SecuroServ discount on the R2K, and the 25% discount ends tomorrow. At least the "Buy Now" R2K is $10,800 cheaper with a 25% discount than the standard price of the "SecuroServ Trade Price" option. I was hoping to go super cheap with the discounted SSTP version at $3,240,000 but oh well. :/ I don't have enough time today to finish these missions due to my work/sleep schedule.

EDIT 2: Wait a second, does the discount only affect the Trade Price? I could've sworn the Buy Now had a discount too. The price is still at $5,745,600 for me. :(

@Dan Doubt the unhooking thing is intentional from R* so I would expect it to get sorted in the next patch. As far as I know it's been like that from release.

I'm slowly figuring out how to go faster in GTA stunt races, but still can't work out how some people are so fast even when I factor in I'm not driving a Nero Custom. The lobby I was in earlier was the most competitive I've ever seen - I would make 1 mistake, drop to around 8th and gain a couple places back if I was lucky.

But there was 1 guy who was usually 4-5 seconds a lap quicker than anybody else. The most amazing bit was when I saw him do this... does anyone know how to launch that quickly? :boggled:

Is your plan to get faster by getting more dexterous fingers by practicing the guitar?

Some cars have extremely powerful acceleration. Combine that with the "super boost" (Hold down the gas pedal before the countdown, let go at 1, then press again on "Go") and you're going to be flying past everyone.

Also, does anyone know what the fastest stock supercar is? Whenever I get put into a race with randoms, I usually pick the RE-7B, but the ones who pick X80 Protos are always miles ahead, even with catchup left on.

RE-7B is the fastest stock super because of the downforce modify. The 2nd fastest stock super is the Nero because of the default spoiler.
