That and we didn't overwork ourselves. We did a heist, stepped away for a day, then did another one. Hell there was a two week gap between us starting Pac Standard and finishing. Patience, communication, familiarity with the vanilla routes, and staying on top of vitals make it easy regardless of communication. Communication just reinforces all of that.
Yes, that too. We went through them all in about 1,5 weeks. 1 heist/day at the most, and then messing around with other stuff in between setups/heists. And checking out and learning the routes to take before the heists (mainly the one where you steal the bikes from the Lost).

Out of curiosity, I see a lot of talk about Criminal Mastermind but very little about the Elite Challenges - why is this?

My guess is that it's because the Criminal Mastermind pays a whole lot more than the Elite Challenges. It's a minimum of $10M, with the addition of 2M if you haven't gotten the All in order and Loyalty-awards. Plus whatever you get from the heists obviously.

Okay, I'm sorry. I'm on a gif making rampage.

I went and colonised some guys yacht earlier and he actually came out when I wasn't looking and smacked me in the face with a bat. or was it a golf club?

If Rockstar releases a battleship he's getting sunk first.

Speaking of yachts, it would be really nice if they didn't try to shoot down unarmed aircraft in passive mode. Almost had a heart attack yesterday when I thought I had retreated far enough away from the protected area. Like honestly, the yacht owner wasn't even onboard and how much trouble am I going to cause just by flying near it?

It's obviously retarded that the homing launcher and other anti air weaponry works on civilian aircraft that can't do nothing about it when they's on lock, boy.

A man can't fly his Dodo in peace these days.

But here's a top tip: as a Dodo, Buzzard or similar, you can fly just low enough to swoop under these defenses. With the defenses on, the Yacht occupant can't fight back.

How I found out? Well, someone decided it was a good idea to pursue a 1k bounty on me when I decided for some R&R in my bo-at, and I'm really sure the defenses were on. After bombarding the Yacht for how long, he planted proxies on the exits.

Well, at least I have the Heist invite apartment teleport trick to save me some stress. :dopey:

With the Dodo, can't you just land on the water and taxi towards the yacht?

The difficult bit of landing the Dodo near an armed Yacht is that you got to be pretty far away, since landing on the water is actually harder than landing on... land.

Or you can always taxi off the beach. But what I meant on what I said is that you'd have to only be in a Dodo to fly THAT low.

What's needed is the ability to sue the attacker for damages when they take down civilian aircrafts. 100k or so should be about enough.

The last time I heard of paying for plane destruction, it was the reason Bad Sport and insurance costs are removed on PC.
I think insurance costs should be kept. They're a deterrent, albeit a minor one, for jet griefers and RPG / homing launcher spammers. Plus you can cargobob people's supercars into the ocean and charge them 25k huehuehue

You can truly feel the power of the PS4 and how Rockstar have redefined the GTA Online experience when it takes nearly five minutes for me to load into a lobby when I tried to switch characters. It's not like I wanted to be in a private lobby or anything.

Dan
My internet works perfectly fine on every other game I play. When I hop on GTA and get forced into a full lobby, that is when issues come up.

So why dont you load into story then into a crew/friend/solo/invite only session. Its faster.

These recent days, I've been getting into this persona in public lobbies which I name the CEbrO.

It's quite simple: all I do is actively support other CEOs should they haven't messed with others, or have been messed with and is in need of someone like moi. So far, my successes include..

  • While driving my spanking new ETR1 from the Warzone LSC, I noticed an MC doing a sale in a giant semi. I reversed back a bit then turned away. Unfortunately for them, a scrub in an Armored Kuruma decided to have their supply dead. So I decided to intervene, and by the time we got on the highway, the Kuruma guy got ahead and prepared to shoot the driver, only for him to get rammed and thus get bombed by me. My reward? Got a nice "Thank You" and peace between us for however long we were in.

  • Some guy got salty towards me when I flipped off his car with the Phantom Wedge as he was hidden while camping in front of someone's car warehouse to steal stock. After I went to source another car, he decided Hydra was the way for revenge. A good choice since I have no way to retaliate. But when I arrived by Strawberry, the man who I helped defend his sourcing shot down the Hydra, and said "He won't bug you anymore", while handing me a friend request. Damn.

  • A pair started a round of Fully Loaded. Unfortunately, someone went and killed them both. The leader went to keep this killer busy in a free roam deathmatch, while his noob partner has to kill the limos. How do I help? Using a combination of CEO vehicle spawning and the mechanic, I get to the hard to reach limos, get in, and drive them to the nearest body of water. The event ended with 5 minutes left, and I sunk 5 limos, which would take 8 minutes in average to destroy when alone. No reward since I had enough for the day and quit.
It's not perfect, but I love being the good guy to the right people.

just picked this up again on PS4 and have already run into an issue with GTAO.

Pretty much every in game menu doesn't show, including the interaction menu and ammunition gun buying menu (haven't checked LSC yet. I hit the right button and get the sound effect but nothing shows up in either case, yet it works perfectly fine in story mode

Did you pay full price again?

That's literally what I do every single time. When I switched characters, the game defaulted to putting me into a public session.

[Nice guy stuff]

Think of it this way, you may have saved people from resorting to Shark Cards, and thus brought forward the development of GTA VI. :dopey:

I had to laugh at one of my friends because my friend who said "the only people who hate GTAV on the 4 are modders who suck at the game without mods" uninstalled it on his 4 because he thought the game sucked.

Speed through tunnels and parachute to the finish with the Ruiner 2000 in Damned, one of 20 new Stunt Races featuring Special Vehicles launching next week.

Next week, a different breed of high-flying vehicular competition hits GTA Online with 20 new Stunt Races custom built for the Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2000 & Blazer Aqua in Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit. Designed with each of these vehicles' unique characteristics and abilities in mind, this collection of Stunt Races comes to GTA Online on Tuesday, March 14. Also on Tuesday, Legendary Motorsport adds the classically-styled Progen GP1 to its formidable roster of supercars.

The all-new Progen GP1 (SPD Side note: IN GOLD?! BLEAUGH!)

And to gear up for next week's Special Vehicle Races, we've also got a flight of new GTA Online bonuses kicking in this weekend and running through Monday, March 13th (on top of ongoing specials including Double GTA$ & RP Stunt Races).

Aspiring kingpins can claim their own high-rise for 25% off Executive Offices and Office Garages before taking advantage of CEO bonuses all weekend long.

To help satiate your thirst for carnage and gear up for Tuesday, Warstock is slashing the SecuroServ prices on Special Vehicles.

Special Vehicle Missions will also dish out Double GTA$ & RP
throughout the weekend, allowing you to earn big while getting acclimated with the Special Vehicle of your choosing.

Bodyguards and Associates are also getting a Double GTA$ salary bump this weekend.

My take: Too bad I'm already done for SecuroServ Special Vehicles.. except maybe the.. nah, am done. I'm hoping the salary bump means double CEO money, but I doubt it.
