I haven't tried the new stunt races yet. How are they? Is it easy to take advantage of the mentally challenged randoms?

General consensus say that the new races suck. Mainly because they're mostly speed tracks, and to me: that sounds like 500pp races on Route X.

Here's a picture on Reddit regarding it:

I've played through all of them at least by myself. I can't say I enjoy them. Some parts are cool, but for the most part, I don't think they flow very well. One of the biggest things is the boost pads, which seemed like an afterthought on most tracks. I've seen so many instances where they have a boost, that leads right into a tight 180 degree turn.

I'd much prefer to race on the original set.

I raced on Plummet 2 with my Raptor.

The car can't finish it. Given that you're not supposed to bring this abomination to a race, but this is poor service if someone wants to beat the race with a Blista Compact.

Read that again, and read it correctly. It's not a playlist, it's...*find out the answer yourself*.
And you should know how to join a race after almost two and a half years of GTAO. If you don't: just leave the internet

Gee thanks. I really appreciate you blowing up in my face for something I was confused about. Log off.

Dude chill, he just asked a question.

@Dan there isn't a playlist for the new races. You just start one of the races up like any other job.

Like @Sting mentioned below, while the game loaded yesterday I had the option to join the races directly, so I thought it was a sort of playlist.

Pretty sure there is one, but I don't know how many of the new races are in it. I was joining something when I booted up the game and instead of pressing the button for Online I pressed another button labelled with the 2x $ and RP Stunt Playlist.

My guess as to why they are all speed orientated is because of all the people who kept replaying Plummet and Chilliad...one lobby i hosted kept selecting those two tracks every single time it popped up until i mass-kicked everyone who voted for it and threatened to kick anyone else who voted for those tracks. Only 5 remained after that. so yeah blame the people who always played those two tracks.

Here are my thoughts on all the tracks:

45°- Very boring

Around the Docks- it's meh. Over and Under was alot better then this one

Big Drop- The only stunt track where the Schafter V12 is useful

Big M- its ok, but the route is too simple for my tastes

Gauntlet- BIGGEST. LETDOWN. EVER.

Green Machine- an ok track but too repetitive...they could've allocated some of those props for a better challenge.

In the City- Basically the toned down baby of Maze Bank ascent and City Air. Lots of potential wasted here.

Lift Off- Basically Double Loop 2.0....the only redeeming factor is if Danger Zone plays during the race

Mountain Drop- boring. Also if you can angle yourself correctly, you can bypass the second jump on the right side saving you some time and catapulting you into first.

Pier Race- the Vespucci course we should have gotten the first time around. personally my favorite of this bunch.

Plummet II- its...ok but the major problem with this is that it tries too hard...plus its now even easier to get into a massive pileup. the only really way to win here is if you curb boost to all hell.

Raton- Unlike its brother Canyon Race...this one doesnt flow too well...

Spinner- Just needs a couple of sections redone and this course will be perfect.

Trench III- the first Trench is good, Trench II is also good, this one however.... tries too hard.

Wall climb- Possibly the Hardest track of this bunch. It took what City Loop had and expanded on it. This track made you think twice about what car to bring to the race. almost my favorite but it if they can rework a few of the tube sections it'll be perfect.

All of them slightly-cheatsy have-all-cars-and-keep-selling-the-same-top-range-car-for-guaranteed-~$80000-profits I/E monies gonna have their work cut out for them.

As do my garages, come to think of it. Yes, it's been all of about three months and I'm once again down to a handful of available spaces/expendable vehicles. At 100+ total garage spaces. Judge me.

Shotgun Papaya Orange McLaren F1!

Turismo Classic, I'm curious what this would be based on... F40 because the San Andreas Turismo felt like that, just with the totally wrong spoiler. GTA 4 was based on the 360/F430 so what would a classic one of them be?

Infernus Classic, got to be a Countach. It just HAS to be!

Loving the idea of special vehicle stunt races. They should be fun!

And we thought Rockstar were going to slow down. I'm stunned they have announced all this.

Vice City Cheetah please!

Yeah, it just needs some tweaking. They got that bodyline from the front wheel arch to the rear of the car, but they missed off the iconic vents! Probably because the Vice City car wasn't as wide as it really should have been and as you can see from your screenshot is jacked up on those shocks! lol
I'd also like to see them rework the front lip so we get something a little closer to the real car. Never really liked the Vice City version that flowed into the wheel arch.

EDIT: Well, OK...never mind.

My guess is, some variant of the Ferrari 250 GTO since it'll probably be a Sports Classic.

I wouldn't bet on it, considering A. the Stinger and Stinger GT already exist, and B. the newswire says the new vehicles include:
the Turismo Classic and the Infernus Classic that first made its appearance on the streets of Liberty City in GTAIII.
and
In addition to seeing classic fan-favorite GTA rides introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online this spring, there will also be all-new blazing fast rides such as the Progen GP1 supercar.

Essentially, the Turismo Classic is just going to be an updated version of one of the older Turismos (so either an F40 or a 360/430 - I'm betting the F40 considering it's called the Classic), and the Infernus Classic seems like it's going to be the GTA III version rather than the Vice City Countach people are suggesting.

Not to get you guys too excited, but do you think Rockstar will put three seats in the Progen GP1, like the McLaren F1? Looking at the position of the steering wheel and the raised part of the dashboard, it appears that the driver is directly in the middle. Also, with the weaponized vehicles coming later on, I wonder if we'll get the APC from TBoGT. I always wondered why that didn't make an appearance in GTA V when we have the Rhino.

goddamn it I wouldn't have wasted money on a Tyrus a few months ago if I knew they would bring out a normal F1

Yeah, I sold mine a couple weeks back since it was too fast for me to handle in normal road use, and I spun out way too often. The T20 is enough for me.

It's a fake, of course.
