So what's so special about the Duke o death?

It has bulletproof windows, and if armor can be upgraded online, resist an extra explosion like most armored cars. The only weakness: can only fire forwards, and the angle is tight too.

And it's 665k I think. But is free for returning players.

Classic Rockstar. They tweeted out that the Duke O'Death is now available, then deleted it, and now we have a new set of pajamas.

Yup.

****ing pajamas.
Well there goes Rockstar's late April fools prank. Gg Rockstar.

Invited the room to my office garage. One person sent a message:

"I can be co worker of your fabric."

Not sure I'll do garage invites again.

The mechanic cooldown needs to go or be reduced by a lot, and the vehicle export cooldown needs to be at least halved. In the latter's case, this just confirms various hypotheses about R* deliberately limiting the "maximum" amount of $ per hour to about 400k. The former has next to no reason to exist, let alone be this long.

BTW, tomorrow I'm going to grind again to buy the Accommodation add-on for my office. Is Land Grab by any chance better than Import / Export in terms of money right now?

Yesterday thanks to the YT / Netflix glitch I managed to sell 17 cars and nab 1.1 million for the Office Garage in under 3 hours. Loving it right now, it looks glorious. :)
I keep trying this but get stuck in the clouds after joining a friend...what steps are you taking?

Assuming you're running MTU 800 to always land in solo public sessions, I'm not sure whether you can join a friend. It definitely works the other way around, but they'll have to rejoin you after each sale because IIRC you get put in a different session every time. I do exactly what @250 GTO described a few pages back:

1) Press the PS Burton on the controller

2) open Netflix or YouTube. This will cause GTA to go into suspended mode

3) Close Netflix or YouTube

4) Reopen GTA. You will usually load into the same session, unless you were the only one in it

5) The cool down time is now reset

6) Sell next car

7) Lather rinse repeat

You should be careful to wait for the phone call from your assistant to end after a sale and then open YT / Netflix, because otherwise the glitch won't work.

I might add that we don't use the MTU to get solosessions. One of us does the time/date-glitch to get our own session. After that, you can have friends join you. We're usually also in a party, and are able to join eachother through that.

We've also found, that if you appear offline on PSN, it's very rare that randoms join the lobby.
However. Friends can't join you through the friendslist or through a party (you're "offline", so that's pretty logical). So it's basically an invite-only public session. Until friends that are appearing online have joined (by getting invited). After they've joined, their friends can join the session. And it seems to be only the person that makes the "public" session that needs to appear offline.

Grind done, office living quarters bought. Few more comments about I/E:
  • Still not sure if the most annoying mission is the Cargobob or the "some amateur took the car". I got each of them once today and just skipped.
  • Those Little Seoul gangsters have obscene accuracy. If my stupid associates alert the Kuruma, I'll get shot down before I even land my Buzzard. Not to mention they rarely take more than 3 shots to bring me down.
  • All the trouble is worth it because the business is lucrative :D
@Flash_Sweden: MTU 800 has the same result as the time/date glitch more or less, and if a random enters the lobby and stays it's usually a fellow CEO who wants to do his own thing as well. Would you like to explain that glitch though, in case it's easier than changing the MTU setting?

Maybe the underlying game structure is a fabric?

Fabric: (computing) Interconnected nodes that look like a textile 'fabric' when viewed collectively from a distance

@GT5Power I thought the time/date-glitch was common knowledge these days. Especially after the "At the races-day(s)".

But in freemode, you simply go to your office/garage/apartment/clubhouse. Basically anywhere indoors, that gives you a short loadingscreen.
We've found that the glitch works best if done indoors. If done outside, it seems to be more randoms joining. Or we just wasn't appearing as offline when doing it outside. But we're doing it indoors, just to be "safe".

1: Push the PS-button.

2: Go to settings.

3: Go to time/date.

4: Set the year one year ahead. (That's what I do, advancing a month ahead might also do the trick).

5: Doubletap the PS-button to get back to the game.

6: The game will freeze, but don't worry. Wait 15-ish seconds.

7: Doubletap the PS-button.

You'll get right back to the time-setting part of the menu.

8: Adjust the time back to what it's supposed to be.

9: Doubletap PS-button to get back to the game.

10: Look at everyone leaving your session.

11: Curse over R*-servers. Because Sharkcards. :rolleyes::lol:;)

12: Laugh and profit.

Wow!!!

I just bought myself a Marshall Monster truck. Great fun but I wish it could be customised. If only Benny had a monster truck custom shop.
Thought those were only for people who played previous gen. In which case why so long to get it?
