@pokemonfan58: I've gotten the bonus a few times. Not sure of when I got them, but I think R* just chooses a random number of people that are members of the Social Club each day, and gifts them $250,000 or something like that. There's no organization or sense in any of it, I know...but there's something nice about it.

On a different note, if anyone remembers a couple of weeks ago, MrClickBossLOL posted a video showing ten tips on how you (yes! You, unwilling viewer) can become a better "Grand Theft Auto 5 Online" player. I didn't bother finding his video, so instead, here’s a half-watchable version of it provided by Gtamen.
NSFW because language

I get the feeling that Boss made the original video to help out people who weren’t even trying to take this game seriously or just wanted to be :censored:s in Freeroam, and it shows. Boss admitted that he’s terrible at this game (and he contradicts himself at one point), which could be very a possible reason, seeing as three of le boss’s ten tips are:
  • DON'T Use Off the Radar or Ghost Organization (IMO, worst thing you can do on PS4 simply because it’s not hacking someone’s money away from them.)
  • DON'T Use Bull Shark Testosterone (In all honesty, this is completely useless to someone playing GTA Online, kind of like how Magikarp is useless to a Pokémon trainer aspiring to be the champion of their region’s league...or just any Pokemon trainer, in even more honesty than before.)
  • DON'T Wear the Bulletproof Helmet (I've tested it and it does work, but not that well. Seriously, what are you doing wearing this metal plate on your head in a PvP scenario?)
  • Okay, the actual reasons he gave are the exact opposite of what I put here, he's telling you to use them.
Also, watch what he (the guy with the blonde hair in the bomber jacket, not Gtamen) does throughout the video, it’s magically insane.:D

EDIT: I just read the comments below this one, and would like to point out that this is only the tip of the iceberg in how..."unprofessional" he is.

@Dan, @rallymorten, @pokemonfan58: Thanks for filling me in, I really appreciate it.

Who is this "MrBossFTW" you're talking about? I'm only familiar with "MrDoxFTW." ;)

MrClickbaitFTYouTubeMoney

Fixed.

Mr-So-Called-Boss is like Scientology: you're tricked into clicking on his videos in the belief he's actually got some content, but in reality it's day-in-day-out 🤬 filler so YouTube can put in 20 ads before he finally takes three seconds to actually say something useful. Then comes *another* 🤬 load of filler for even more ads! And once he's infected your YouTube Recommendations.. I'll let Dave handle this one (slightly NSFW).

Seriously, there are two groups of people in this world that deserve to be GTA Online Public Session'd: The Rothschild family and this "GTA community" they speak of. It's more like a zombie army of easily-deceived 10-year olds.

On the other side, they give the best cringes possible. People like Yan2295 being the reason clickbait exists? Excuse me while I cringe this Easter away.

In other news, my game is in an interesting state today. Even Invite Only sessions seem to corrupt left, right and center whenever I try to open the internet. Apparently there's also this new Adversary Mode called Land Grab. I mean, I approve of its neon-everything approach, but apart from that, how is this any different from a regular Deathmatch again? And hasn't this been around for some time, but with vehicles instead? I mean, how difficult can a proper Hide And Seek (or making The Hunt an official) gamemode be? Or Prop Hunt for that sake?

You don't need to be good at the game just to post good videos about it but if you're making horrible videos in general, that's when you become a big problem.

Also MrLowIQFTW doesn't seem to have a lot of knowledge in cars. In one video, he got the name wrong for the Mitsubishi Evolution X when talking about the Sultan RS and called the Evolution X, Revolution X. Even worse, he provided a picture in the video of the car he's talking about in a showroom and the picture showed the correct name for the car. Just sad. And he's done this many times in his videos when talking about what the cars of GTA V are based off.

He was also exposed for dosing people who criticizes him. To this day, I still don't understand why he deserves over 1 million subscribers for what he makes especially considering the dosing problem.

Also wasn't there one video where he thought the T20 was based off the Bugatti Chiron?

Had a close call today during a source mission with an X80 Proto (Cargobob mission, may I add). Less than a km away from the warehouse a wild Hydra appeared with clear intentions of blowing the car to pieces. Fortunately I was in my Buzzard and I was able to fend him off long enough for my friend to safely deliver the X80 to the warehouse.

I also unlocked the Ruiner 2000 mission and now I can buy it for $4.3mil. Probably the next thing I'll buy, either that or the Office Garage. Which do you guys recommend?

  1. I'd have taken out the wild Buzzards coming after you if I was in that Hydra.
  2. That depends on how big of a collection you plan on getting; get an office garage if you could use the extra space, or get the Ruiner 2000 if you have no use for anything more than a combined 70 cars and bikes on your current guy/gal. I haven't unlocked any of the trade prices yet, and I think I might do some Special Vehicle missions the next time they offer double cash/RP.

Personally, the office garage. I spend a fair amount of time there and enjoy it in many ways, while I've driven my KITT like 3 times and tend to forget I even own one most of the time.

There were no Buzzards coming after my friend. I had blown them all up and the opposing player in a Hydra showed up just before the warehouse.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm leaning towards the Office Garage now. In fact the cars I have in my warehouse right now can make me enough money for the Office Garage but I'll fill up the warehouse instead and then start selling.

If I were you, I'd get an office garage with modshop before getting a Ruiner2k. That's what I did anyway. I didn't get myself a 2k until they were on sale a couple of weeks ago.

I'm wondering, why is everyone randomly being gifted cash by Rockstar? Usually Rockstar would only do this on special occasions like GTA Online's 3rd anniversary or in times where there's very serious issues plaguing GTA Online that is deleting everyone's character from the game and Rockstar decides to compensate those who lost their character with like let's say $500k-$1 million. But I have never seen anyone get gifted money out of random by Rockstar up until now and I've seen it happen several times for some people. You must have some seriously good luck if you were randomly gifted $500k 3 times by Rockstar.

I've been playing this game since launch and have yet to randomly be gifted cash like some of you on here.

I've been getting kicked from Online 'due to network error, please return to GTA V' a bunch of times. Maybe it's R* way of reimbursing us??

Rockstar have finally graced me with some free money.

Also, am I missing something? No suspension mods for Turismo classic?

The compact grenade launcher is just exceptional when paired with a speedy motorcycle of your choosing. Might I recommend avoiding those travelling on foot and instead make it your priority to target those travelling by car. Generally you'll find success in firing a direct shot towards the rear of the car but should they strafe I'd suggest waiting for their inevitable panic induced wreck and kill them then. You'll find yourself to be almost invincible with some selective manoeuvring and careful timing. Do be careful, you can blow yourself up.

I'm probably going to get the Eclipse Towers Penthouse Suite tonight or tomorrow.

I'd like your opinion, which interior should I go with?

EDIT: Reference video, so you can see what the interiors look like.

The compact is brilliant for that. I love using either that or the new shotgun.

Sharp or Modern IMO. I like the water beneath the stairs of the Modern, but the fireplace and open kitchen is great with Sharp. Of course, those from opulence would prefer both, with a weekly redecoration hahaha.

It's plausible, but not necessarily what happened. I've had a car going from ~$100 of damage to a burning piece of 🤬 just by driving over a bump in the road at high speed. In a private public lobby.

The Omnis I was delivering literally spontaneously combusted. Thanks R*! 🤬

Happened to me once. I was being chased by a helicopter, but all of a sudden it disappeared. A new one didn't show up and neither did any enemies in cars. My car was still near mint condition. I entered a tunnel and within a blink of an eye, it was on fire and blew up.

Yesterday thanks to the YT / Netflix glitch I managed to sell 17 cars and nab 1.1 million for the Office Garage in under 3 hours. Loving it right now, it looks glorious. :)
