....and again

Now... what to fill my last office garage space with (only 20 cars.) Was going to go for 1 of 3 cars; Reaper, GP1 or 900R.

Well, that choice was just made for me. Might end up moving some lesser-used vehicles to another garage (Faggio Mod in particular) but I have a winner.

Guys, should I convert my Nero to the Custom variant? My regular one can barely keep up with the Customs in stunt races, and if it's non-contact I don't stand a ghost of a chance. Plus the Nero Custom seems to be the best overall car for stunt races right now.

Edit: BTW, this stunt race bonus is amazing. I've gone from rank 214 to 221 just today.

It's all up to you. A Nero Custom isn't a guaranteed win. I've beaten Nero Customs with my regular Nero, with my Tempesta and with my 900R. It all depends on your own and your opponents skillevel.

The biggest reason that my Nero is stock (maxed out, but not a Custom), is that it's too much $$$ for a very tiny difference in performance. And I don't like the way it looks as a Custom.

My Nero is still a normal one, and there's no plans to convert it or get a new one for such. Besides, if you plan to make a VGT tribute or copy, you have to use the stock spoiler, and for that, I'd say don't.

Which reminds me...

..I may have both a standard and a custom. And the custom might look like the VGT.

I blame I/E for throwing too much money at my face. Slowly, but steadily, creeping up towards $20,000,000 profit.

@Flash_Sweden Is it really such a tiny difference? I also beat Customs in my regular one as well as my Zentorno regularly, but sometimes it becomes noticeable that the performance of the base model is inferior.

I'll probably keep it stock after reading these posts though. A little top speed disadvantage is nothing slipstream can't fix. I'm still boned in non-contact

I think so. If I don't crash, and the others don't crash, the Custom is faster. But not by much, thanks to racetracks include corners that people can mess up in. In my opinion, the upgrade isn't worth it.

The only reason for me to get a Nero Custom would be to have one of each

I feel like the Gunrunning update is going to be massive.

It's a long shot, but hopefully it will address some issues of our current military vehicles. The Annihilator is dreadfully weak against Stinger missiles and missile-equipped aircraft. Perhaps giving it the ability to deploy flares to evade missiles and upgrading the miniguns to carry explosive ammo would help it tremendously.

Is the Schafter V12 broken in sports stunt races or is it just me? Every time I'm pitted against one it seems like I'd be better off on a Faggio than driving my fully modded Elegy RH8. :odd:

4WD cars fare better in Stunt Races.

The V12 has issues keeping steady on the sides of the tubes.

It's not that every 4WD car is better than every RWD car (especially since the Elegy is 4WD), it's that some cars are faster on different parts than others. The regular Sultan (not the RS, sadly) is incredibly fast on any track with a lot of tubes - on that one circuit that goes up and over the Maze bank, the Sultan can keep up with the top cars in the class.

Rail gun online. Start job, collect and either finish the job or quit. Does not transfer when switching lobbies, or stores in the gun locker.

I'm basically done with stunt races. Every man, woman, and small ignorant child found the formula to win practically any race.

Bike race? Shotaro.

Sports race with corners? Elegy or Massacro (of which I will admit these are the most balanced)

Sports race with long straights? Schafter V12 with curb boosting.

Literally any Super race? Nero custom with curb boosting (bonus points for non-contact as no one can touch you unless they're in a Nero or you crash).

Maybe it's just me, but the 2nd stunt race batch couldn't even be compared to the first batch in terms of a fun factor.

I apologize, I just need to get this off my chest.

FIRST DETAILS AND SCREENS FOR GTA ONLINE: GUNRUNNING

While sharply dressed CEOs trade Special Cargo from lavish air conditioned suites, and leather-clad Bikers own the roadways moving illicit consumer goods; new opportunities are opening in a highly lucrative and equally malicious network hidden underground ripe for takeover by the VIPs, CEOs, and Biker bosses of Los Santos and Blaine County.

Dotted throughout Blaine County are hatches - look into these mysterious properties on the Maze Bank Foreclosure site and you’ll find sprawling underground headquarters for sale, ready to be stocked with new military grade vehicles and weapons manufacturing equipment capable of developing highly sought after offensive and defensive technologies. As the residents of Los Santos know, the only thing more fun than crime is profit and should you choose to invest in this new business, some extremely shady customers are ready to pay top dollar for what you can deliver.

I was wondering when the beloved APC would make a return. :D

It's a shame that there's a mobile AA vehicle, so innocent pilots in unarmed aircraft will have even more stuff to worry about. :grumpy:

Hype = Real

Also, given how they've worded this, I'll be disappointed if it isn't at least 50% more profitable than I/E.

I'm also pretty sure that the AK in the first picture isn't a new weapon, but a modified version of the one already in the game. The magazine, stock, and handguard are different but everything else is identical.
