You forgot to put the "/s" right?
It's probably going to be just like the yachts. We'll find out tomorrow. I'm not that hyped for those, since I'll never afford them. *grumble*

I was kidding
Seriously though, I'm not sure the bunkers will be more expensive than the Yachts.
The description of the dlc also hinted at R&D required for getting new weapons/upgrades so it may be that some of the new content is locked till you hit certain targets. I like the idea of actually unlocking stuff rather than just straight up buying it.

It's not a bad idea necessarily, but Rockstar hasn't been implementing it in a fun way. Grinding missions with cheating bots and unimaginably broken AI traffic is more tedious than entertaining. For the first 2.5 years of GTAO, I was used to it, but eventually it got to the point of being hopelessly boring. Now, whenever I go online, it's rarely for more than 20-30 minutes because it feels like there's nothing fun to do that doesn't require lots of communication and coordination like heists or sinking a ton of cash initially to very slowly gain it back. That's how I see it. I don't know, maybe I'm just an idiot that doesn't know how to play the game.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm looking forward to the new goodies, although I'm certain that much like last two or more shootemup updates I'll spend $15m+ on crap I'll use once for 20 minutes and then never again. At least with the yachts I still use what I purchased daily. It's disappointing when you realise that, aside from the recycling of the short annual holiday updates(Valentines, 4th July, Halloween, Christmas), the last purely recreational update we've had was yachts. In 2015. Even the lowrider update, which while having the appearance of a recreational update, came only with violent activities and no actual recreational activities. New weapons, new shootemup missions, and new adversary modes, and not even a lowrider challenge event or really any activity surrounding the lowriders themselves. San Andreas had more lowrider activities.

Being that the game has now jumped the shark with silly cartoonish content and every new update consists solely of "new and exciting ways of terminating people!" (R*'s own words, right from their trailer) it's only appropriate they bring in a Beach Bum 2 update including surfing, fishing, lawn chairs, and that ability to water ski over the jumps in Santa Monica and clear the shark contained in the net below!

Just sold a full warehouse of cargo, cocaine lockup, and exported 8 cars tonight made myself around 3.6 million. Sitting on 33 mil, should be enough to spend on the dlc tomorrow after work

Where did you find that?

If it really costs this much I am screwed atm.

Yeh but you have the option of a cheaper CEO office.

Indeed. That wasn't really the point. Nobody that I am aware of has any official price lists yet. All of this is speculation. The bunker could be free; who knows. I can assure you nobody on this site can give you any more accurate information.

You can buy cheaper locations, but his point is that most of the new content that Rockstar has added tends to be insanely overpriced for what it is and either requires a huge bank to start with or immense play time to actually get an ROI from new businesses. People who don't have either one don't get much out of them or wind up buying shark cards to be able to afford the stuff. Hence why most people I know who transferred either had a modder on the previous generation of consoles hook them up or grind missions all day on the 4 whenever possible to avoid buying shark cards and be able to afford all the new stuff that they constantly add.

I keep toying with liquidating some of my assets. I visit my garages and see cars I've not driven for a very long time, years in some cases.

I drive to LSC and hover over the sell option but I can never go through with it....until this week.

I sold a few cars and was regretful pretty quick. Half an hour later I'd pretty much forgot what I had sold so I have gathered that most of the cars I've pretty much abandoned will be sold.

I'll make some money, free up some space and limit my vehicles to ones I actually use.

It's hard but the regret doesn't last long. If only I could sell some Pegasus vehicles.

Nah. That's more in line with an actual housing property than a warehouse/business/whatever.

--offtopic-- anyone watching the e3 press conferences??

this one is awesome --warning blood and gore and strong language  --

Oh my.

With the imminent release of the Gunrunning update several new cars have been discovered within the game files.

They're based upon the likes of the Lotus Esprit, Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach, lovely.

Speaking of which, the online portion of the game is going to turn into Syria in about an hour.

About a week ago, I actually called this game "Grand Theft Syria."

Seeing the APC finally return has made me both happy and a little nervous. The anti-aircraft configurations seem like they will not only wreak havoc on fighter pilots, but also for the general aviation community of GTAO. I sincerely hope the weapons systems will ignore unarmed planes and helicopters, but that seems like wishful thinking even though it's difficult to grief with Cessnas and stunt planes.

..and so it begins..

No idea how big it is, but judging by what content we can expect + how long it's taking to prepare the download, it's a big one, which shouldn't be a surprise.

Hmm. That's not too bad, actually. The upgrades (if any) will probably break the bank, though.

EDIT: Downloading now on PS4. 2.214 GB.

I can confirm they've fixed the change-time-and-get-a-private-session glitch on PS4. It remains to be seen if you can get into Online with a lowered MTU and thus a higher chance of everyone else disconnecting.

Edit: MTU should still work. It'll take that little longer, but hey, anything for not being interrupted, right?

Are you sure? Maybe We just have to wait longer before changing back? I'll try it in a few minutes

I just made my Turismo Classic look like a Testarossa and now they finally bring one out!

Just an FYI:

The shooting range challenges are a load of BS. The amount of precision *and* rapid firing they require is beyond what I believe is physically possible without Michaels bullet time, even when sensitivity is set as low as possible.
