I'm thinking about selling my GP1. Anyone know the cost of the Cheetah Classic? I might save up for one when it releases.

Anyone know the cost of the Cheetah Classic?

According to *those* people on the internet, the Cheetah is $865,000, the rest is somewhere around 1 million, 1.5 million (Vagner) or in excess of two million (XA21).

Assuming, of course, we actually get one or more vehicles this week.

PSA for PC players: Watch yourselves. People are being banned left and right and a particular ban (+ data wipe) of a level 944 legit player is taking GTAF by storm. Take screenshots of your rank, money and stats regularly.

I can't imagine what will happen if consoles are next on this ban wave...

This machine is so worth getting if you ask me.

Half the players will be banned (especially on the 3 since the majority on the 3 are modded accounts an a bunch of those made it to the 4). A friend of mine said they're also targeting people with modded money which puts me right in their crosshairs if true- not that I care cause if they ban me I'll still get plat on the 4 when I get around to setting mine up and will then quit the game for good after that.

Ready to oppress the city of Los Santos! :D

Speaking of the Oppressor, did the price tag for its missiles get nerfed? It costs 180k for me but I always heard it cost 210k. :odd:

I'm not worried about money being taken away as compared to what I had before the Gunrunning update, I'm practically broke by comparison at 427k.

I would use the gunrunning for more cash, but I'm focused on getting all the research out the way first before turning it into a money maker.

On the subject of I/E deliverys, I know people say there's a way for guaranteed High end cars each time, But having one of every standard and medium range car in the garage still throws up standards and mediums for me to steal sometimes.

Heck I had 39 cars in the garage at one point that weren't High ends and I was still getting standards and mediums to steal.

@Vic Reign93 The magic # for I/E cars in the warehouse is 32. Once you hit 32 cars, Export a car, and it will be the next Source car. The other day I kept sourcing and exporting the Stirling GT. For some reason when I export the Stirling, no goons would go after me until late in the day. I made about a million I think.

Steam from the pipes will knock you down

So for summary just so I've got this right,

  • Have 32 cars in storage, all standards and mediums(?)
  • Sell a car to a buyer.
  • Go sourcing for a new car which'll very likely be a high end car.
  • Steal car and deliver to warehouse
  • Kill time till cooldown is up by doing Headhunter, Haulage etc.
  • Go back to warehouse and go sell High end car for tasty profit.
  • Repeat steps 3-7 till financially satisfied.
Sound about right? :)

32 cars, any cars. Make sure there's one you want to export. That car will be next on the Source list. I exported the Stirling GT, that car was always the next on the Source list.

So what i'll have to do is get a high end car, sell a few medium or standards until i have 32 cars, then sell the high end car which'll show up again when I go to source a car.

And to keep this post somewhat helpful to others, If you doing Haulage and have access to either the Phamtom Wedge or MOC, use them to deliver the trailer as they'll be much faster and depending on which you use, will have a unique advantage over the normal trucks.

Phantom Wedge has phenomenal pushing power courtesy of the wedge and is quick, but is susceptible to explosives and the wedge can sometimes catch on uneven terrain.

MOC lacks the bulldozer pushing power, but is heavily armoured so you'll need a ton of explosives to take it out ( One guy hit me with half a dozen Buzzard rockets and the truck didn't flinch.) and fully upgraded its even faster than the Wedge.

So a safe bet would be a MOC if you had the funding for it as it's more expensive than the Wedge, but both trucks offer different ways to the same goal, a faster way of hauling goods through the war zone of GTA Online. :D

Nearly there.

Import/Export has a total of 32 different models. The way it works - and what this trick exploits - the system always aims at giving you one of each model.

So it should look more like this:
  • Make sure you have exactly 32 cars in the Warehouse
  • Make sure none of them are "duplicates", i.e. that second Alpha of yours is a waste of time, space and money.
  • When you have exactly 32 cars, all different models, sell one Top Range car
  • Next time you want to source a car, it'll give you exactly that model again

Is it worth getting the MOC? Is it just like a bunker, but you can start supply runs on there and store cars?

It all depends on how you option it out.

You can make it a mobile temporary apartment if you want to hold up for a while without being attacked with room for a personal car or a command centre with external guns (rear mounted ones require research.) and a place to upgrade your weapons and Weaponized cars(You can only upgrade the cars in the MOC.)

You can start those special vehicle missions from it regardless of it being living quarters or command centre.

The MOC can also be upgraded to further improve its performance and durablity( much tougher than a Tank I like to believe fully upgraded.) and along with visuals like paints, The trailer too can be customised visually.

As for which truck to pick, testing by some youtubers found in terms of acceleration that they are practically identical, I personally went with the Hauler for two reasons, It's shorter in length so it'll be more agile should I end up in a tight spot and also it reminds of Goliath from Knight Rider. :P

All in all, If you have no plans of buying the new cars, don't buy the vehicle/gun workshop, if you do, get it.

As for if it's worth it all things considered?

I'd say yes it is, Because its still a good vehicle that's practical, you can detach the trailer for more speed and then use it in the Haulage Vip work, Fully armoured its tougher to kill than almost everything so it'll shrug off quite a few explosives and it'll be faster than any other truck in the game.

So if you're willing to put the money down on it, I'd strongly recommend getting an MOC. 👍

For those not already aware, the Technical and Insurgent Pickup will be able to be converted into Personal Vehicles in the next few weeks. The cost is somewhere around $150-250k if you already own them.

I thought they were adding new ones in the upcoming patch which can be upgraded.

Well this is news to me, if true it does mean I'm ditching my weaponless Insurgent for the Weaponized one. :D

The Technical being converted would've surprised me if I didn't notice when stealing the mini gun Technical that it was called a Technical Custom so there'll likely be a conversion option for it or just added as parts in the MOC vehicle Workshop.

What else is there to do in GTAO other than grinding? My friends and I want to get back into GTA but it just seems so boring.
Having the game do the grinding for you. ;)

In all seriousness, I've been wanting to do some kind of GTPL crew event. I'm just not sure what.

Improvise. Before the Gunrunning DLC, me and the usual suspects @STI9, @Jamesyarders, @Sting, @Flash_Sweden, @250 GTO, and a few other were doing convoys with tractor trailers, and just drove to random locations. It doesn't have to a structured event to have fun with. If you're not playing with a group of friends, the game becomes very monotonous. Grinding is still a chore to me if I'm not playing with anyone. For you, I'd try to come up with random things to do.

I mainly find that the...@banter...that ensues from these random adventures amounts to 95% of the fun.

I second the convoys mentioned above. See this, this and that one time nothing at all went to plan (including someones trailer "spontaneously" combusting at the quarry) for some of the stupid stuff that happens.

I've tried to get some general do-things-events going, but even at the best of time I could count the number of participants on a single hand.

Definitely want to do some sort of classic car event after we get this latest batch.

Soooouh, double post for reasons of R* seemingly having forgotten how to drip-feed content. No, they haven't released the whole thing in one go, but once again, they've released the square root of nothing.

Speculation says it's either coming when the current discounts end by the end of the week or is a monthly thing now, in which case the last car won't release until some time around Christmas.

What is the best money making method now? As this is the first time I put the disc back since Easter.

Also, has the Kuruma glitch on the Pacific standard heist patched?

GTASeriesVideos doing their usual run-down on Gunrunning:

TL;DR, much like all the other business-style updates, expect it to be a huge money sinkhole at the start and then slowly, but steadily, begin making profit - a process that, in the worst-case-scenario, will take somewhere around 82 hours, regardless if you choose to steal the supplies or do I/E to cover the costs of buying them (which I recommend if you're playing alone).
