So I start up GTA V this morning, and am greeted with the 1.05 update notice.

Let's see then.
Just saw this on R* forum :lol:

"Unofficial Patch 1.05 Notes:

Fixes the issue where players were still able to save their progress.
Fixes the issue where players were still able to store their cars in a garage.
Fixes the issue where players were still able to own property.
Fixes the issue where players were not placed in the Bad Sport lobby for trying to queue for a mission.
Fixes the issue where the game was still fun to play."
 
Patch is confirmed to do nothing, many glitches, including the console freezing tow truck one still work. Presumably this is some kind of background performance update.

Also, to save some of you guys at work your job, there are some spambots on the GTAForums spewing out pornography all over the place. If you like that head on over.

Which one might not even get... :indiff: There'll probably be something in the way which'll delay the "giveout" even more. Hopefully not though.

  • Built in a number of measures to protect players’ cash balances even if there are network problems
  • Fixed an issue where on rare occasions during network problems the player could lose their Online vehicle or mods after exiting GTA Online
So they didn't patch the "Any Car In Garage" glitch?

@Manuelos for some reason I couldn't join any of your rooms last night. Every time I accepted your invites I got that failed to connect message, which was odd.
 
ANOTHER week later, still waiting for bank heists. :(

I wouldn't hold your breath I doubt we will see heists until at least mid December or mid January and feel I'm being optimistic in saying that.

There is still no guarantee the $500k stimulus package will be here by the end of this week, they just hope to have it released by then.
So far they have released 5 patches all mainly focusing on one issue 'Character loss' and and other behind the scenes server stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if this patch turns out not to fully resolve character loss issues and we will see another push back of the $500k stimulus until another patch is released.

Then they still need to address the many in game bugs/glitches/exploits Which makes me thing the Beach Bum pack will be delayed, I can't see the logic in them releasing a DLC which will inevitably introduce more bugs before they fix they existing ones, but who knows they might just roll it out anyway.

I personally feel we wont see any new content (DLC, Heists, Content Creator, New Missions/Jobs) added to the game until Jan 2014 earliest.

Here is my small list of things that I know about, or have experienced that need to be fixed before they should even consider added in new content to this game.

Masks: Can't remove mask when selecting none it is still on, must put on a hat to remove it (Others say some masks make your Character bold when removing them)

Vehicle Access: Setting vehicle access to Crew / Crew + Friends doesn't work, they still can't enter my vehicle.

Garage Glitch: Storing vehicles that shouldn't be able to be stored.

Insurance Glitch
: Insuring vehicles that shouldn't be able to be insured.

LSC selling glitch: Selling the same vehicle multiple times.

Walk underwater glitch: Occasionally your character will not swim and just walk underwater.

Invisibility Glitch
: Makes player Invisible and have no minimap marker.

Hacked/Modded Single player Vehicles: Single player vehicles Hacked/Modded into Online

There is many more I could list but these are just a few I've had personal experience with or know 100% they exist.

The Mechanic ... have lost a car because of him (and not one that I bought either, it was stolen and fully insured) because it somehow morphed into one of my other cars, creating a duplicate, not to mention all the times he's given a car I didn't ask for, or not brought one that I did, only for me to phone him back and request a different car then watch him pull up in the second car. This is just one glitch/set of glitches (or major R* 🤬 up) that I really loathe at times.

And if you're going to use the mechanic system online, it should also be used offline, same goes for insurance and tracker system, I also loathe losing cars offline that I've spent a lot of money on, with parts/paint job etc. If you don't want us to steal cars to keep and make us just buy cars offline, then sell all the ones I can buy online in Single Player.

The above are great features, mechanic, insurance and tracker, not to mention buying some great cars online, but I think they should be universal throughout the game.

So agreed, they should address the current issues with the game before thinking about adding DLC.

EDIT: This is good though:
On a related note, we anticipate the GTA$ Stimulus to be distributed in the next couple of days following this Title Update. The Stimulus will go out over the course of a full day once it's initiated so don't be alarmed if people on your friends list receive it before or later than you do. Hmmm, don't know if it's because of me or not. GTA online is still a bit glitchy for me from time to time. I'm still getting time-outs and/or infinite loading screens but waaaaay less than a few weeks ago. Been doing some races the last few days with Sutuki and everything seems fine when we are racing :confused:

Yeah I don't know, I had it a few days ago with another crew member, any invite I accepted it failed to join. I noticed you joined a couple of races I was in though so who knows. I'll be online in a few minutes, if you are and send any invites we'll have to see how it is today.
 
Decided to try and do some missions solo tonight, I had quite a bit of success. Did Extradition (on hard), Cop's Capacity, Base Invaders and one other I forget. Obviously the 1-2 player ones are all easy with one, the 1-4/6 harder. Most of the difficulty comes not from the main mission itself but the crazy accurate, fast and homing enemies chasing you afterward.

I did the Merrieweather mission where you have to break into a room at the docks, then the safe, and get away. I was doing great to that point, no deaths, then on the drive to Lester's lockup I got decimated twice by the maniacs in jeeps, about four of them. So aggressive, fast and deadly targeting.

Oh and speaking of these Merriweather missions it made me think of something. All these missions we do against them, how do they not realise who we are when they offer us their services? Bit silly.
