ZDUPH and myself were in a private lobby last night and we kept getting Tailgaters spawning all the time. Both of us got one, and there were others popping up. Crazy lobby. That's the first time I had seen that car outside the story mode.

I think I just got killed by a hacker.
I was flying a Frogger around LSIA, trying to test my skills by flying in very tight areas. I was at the top of the big spaceship-looking structure in the middle of the parking lot when I blew up and said a player blew me up. I knew I had slight damage from bumping the rotors on some buildings, but nothing close to the point of catastrophic failure that would result in an explosion.
There's two tiers to the structure, a wider more open area and at the top, it is narrow with an air conditioning unit. I slightly bumped it, but was being careful. Out of nowhere, my main rotor disappeared in a fireball, followed by the rest of the chopper exploding. It displayed the player's name, but its useless to report him since he can probably unban himself.
The reason why I thought he was hacking, was after I respawned, I checked the map and he was MILES away, far beyond the distance a sniper rifle can reach, and even then, i wouldn't appear on his screen.

But now I don't feel "legitimate" anymore, although grinding for cash and RP isn't exactly "legitimate", I wasn't asking for $140 million. I wanted to make a few million to buy a Frogger (My favorite helicopter), Rhino, Z-Type (My favorite car), Cheetah, and Entity XF.
I just feel dirty now having all this cash and immediately impulse buying everything on that list, except for the Rhino which I have to rank up to buy.

Also, my reaction to the cash was a mix of shock and the hotel reviewer at the end of Ocean's Thirteen. Also, just like the hotel reviewer, MY CHARACTER'S FACE IS HORRIBLY DISFIGURED (although the reviewer gets sick, instead). WHY does my character look like it has suffered third degree burns?!

@CallmeDan , you were just in the right place at the right time.
But I just feel like I have to do something about it like just find a way to dump a huge amount of money at once. Just to get rid of it.
I want to contact R* and say "Hey, a hacker gave me $150 million today, I reported him (I actually haven't), but now I have illegitimate cash. What do I do? Should I spend it?" just to see their opinion on it. I'm not sure if they can manually deduct cash from your account. I just keep worrying that I'll get in trouble for having all of that cash, even though it wasn't my fault getting the cash in the first place.

Sounds like someone isn't happy. It's like a kid asking for a Playstation 3 for Christmas and getting a Playstation 2 instead.
-_- I'm happy that I have cash to buy everything I want, but something about it doesn't seem right. I mean, I would happily spend it and go crazy with all of it if Rockstar said "Yeah, sure. We can't do s:censored:, so go buy stuff." But until then, I don't know what I should do, although I have almost everything I wanted.

I don't get how this hacker gives you money thing.. Do they have to kill you then hack the money in or what?
I'm just curious to how it happens is all. I prefer playing in normal lobbys than going into bad sport just for the sake of hopefully getting mass cash.

Nearly pulled my hair out after all of the random wanted levels and glitchy traffic, but in the end, you got an insured tank.
After you had left to cause mayhem in a public lobby, I glitched and insured a Stretch in my garage.

I didn't notice him getting in the lobby and all of a sudden, BOOM, xxx gave you $142M. It was 2:30AM for me but my eyes went wide open when seeing that. Then over the mics everyone from the lobby was in joy. The whole room got the cash.
