It's true. Log onto iFruit on your phone, go to the LSC logo and you'll see the 3 story character name and your online name is 4th at the bottom.
When you make the plate, buy another modification or change the wheels as well. Seems to make the delivery a little faster.
Might have to wait 2 - 3 real life days though. I did.

Are the servers self-destructing? Second time I was "kicked" from a lobby tonight. I know I wasn't kicked because I didn't do anything to attract the attention of other players, nor did I anger anyone.
Also, I noticed a few people disconnecting before I did. Not like every single person in the lobby disconnected, but maybe one, then another, then two over the course of 3 minutes in both lobbies.

Just lost another vehicle, my custom Vigero... Rockstar, fix this NOW! 4the vehicle i've lost. 3 due to trigger happy punks.

That's why you always buy cars from the in-game Internet, or steal a car and drive it home so it will automatically be insured. For the LSC situation, was your car insured???

Nope. I try to keep my character "clean" and will deselect any items I don't want my character to be wearing.

Do you know the cloning glitch? The one where you go to your job list and hover over a job while sitting in the Tow Truck, and in the cutscene of you driving out of the garage, you mash the heck out of the X button to trigger the job? It creates a duplicate. Like how I did the Cage-Less Mesa yesterday.
May I invite you so I can get the Tow Truck cloned from you? I promise not to hook up any cars, as it'll freeze your console. It's only for solo sessions.

Huh, the way me and mate dupe is; The owner drives the car with the other guy in the passenger seat. The passenger starts a job then the owner gets out while they are in the job. Their character shuffles over into the driver seat, while they are in the job screen. They then invite you and boom they are sitting in a dupe while your car spawns somewhere else. They can either wait for the job to be finished but not go to the finish marker, they will spawn into free mode still driving the duped car. Or simply store it while in the mission.

So I'm in a public lobby and I get a $5,000 bounty on me for stealing an NPC's F620. I rush back to my garage to store the F620 for later use. I look outside my apartment window and see a black Coquette and a chrome Elegy RH8 sitting outside with two guys pointing their guns at my garage door, waiting for me to drive out. I wait around 5 minutes, and they decided to turn their backs to fight a guy in a Rhino tank. I use this window of time to slip into my Stratum Twin-Turbo and hit the street. The coast was clear, and I gunned it.
Heading onto the highway, I see two blips inching closer and closer to me. I purposefully sideswipe a semi truck, causing it to rock back and forth, taking out the black Coquette. I see a few bullets hit the back of my Stratum as the Elegy is now 15 feet behind me. I veer off the road at the last second towards an offroad trail, and the Elegy slams head on into a Cavalcade 2. I hear them raging on the mic (mine was off but I had my chat set to Everyone). The driver of the Coquette decides to head to the TP Airfield to grab a Buzzard while I continue speeding through the countryside. I purposefully attract a two star wanted level so that his Buzzard's rockets lock onto the cop cars instead of me. The Buzzard rained down rockets on me, not one of which actually hit me and I continue on. Without any warning, I drift into a nearby tunnel. The Buzzard tries to take the turn and slams into the tunnel roof, killing the pilot. I make a mad dash back to my garage and am currently sitting inside waiting for my Bounty to expire.
