Feeling pretty gutted right now. I'm grinding Rooftop Rumble in anticipation for the new update and there is this beautiful lime green Bravado Gauntlet. The AIs were using it as cover, so this thing is beaten to hell. I really want to keep this car, because I don't think I'll be able to replicate the paint combo. Unfortunately, I can't access my garage or Los Santos Customs to store it.

Not AFAIK. Also if you want the RR Gauntlet solo don't pick up the package.

Actually, yes it is. Equip it in the Interaction Menu; while you're hovering over it on the menu, hit square (or whatever button that coresponds with it on Xbox, if you're on that). Everything should turn a bright limey green color afterwards.

Do not use with flares or during the day time.

Turns out that the minigun will annihilate helicopters. Keep that in mind when you see an unwanted Valkyrie or Savage.

Because I was under the impression a minigun was useless against helicopters...

Considering that the Valkyrie can take several rockets before exploding, I'm a bit surprised how quickly the minigun will take one down.

No. That was a bug in one of the older updates I think.

...but if you're holding the grenade launcher, you'll lose 1/2. I've had 0 ammo for the grenade launcher quite a few times trying to take out tanks.

That's because the grenade launcher holds two 10 round magazines (which makes no sense since it clearly doesn't hold 10 rounds). Whenever you die, you lose a magazine of the weapon you were using.

I'd like if they increased the magazine count so it isn't near useless.

Seriously though, I don't use the jet or tank often, only in really populated lobbies, to combat the mayhem. Of course, everyone else sees it as me adding mayhem, so...

I keep telling myself to save up for a Hydra but part of me can't be bothered. The Lazer is so much better in a dogfight that I worry it'd be useless. Is it worth the money or should I keep spending loads of money on cars instead?

I'm worse. When I'm away from GTAV I think to myself "I MUST EARN ENOUGH FOR [insert expensive item everyone else on GTA Online has]" and then I get on it and think "EFFORT...."

Worth it. Lazer isn't better in a dogfight, it's just easier to be better with.

Could be. I've never lost a Lazer v. Hydra dogfight but I'm a decent pilot. Can the Hydra evade missiles as easily as the Lazer? That's a big consideration for me; I'd rather not be a sitting duck once someone gets missile lock.

If you can get the Lazer easy, not really.

Easily, yes, but it does take time. It would be nice to be able to call up a fighter rather than going all the way up to Fort Zancudo to get one.

Hover mode makes it a little easier but I think for evading missiles the Lazer is better
