Could be. I've never lost a Lazer v. Hydra dogfight but I'm a decent pilot. Can the Hydra evade missiles as easily as the Lazer? That's a big consideration for me; I'd rather not be a sitting duck once someone gets missile lock.

Easily, yes, but it does take time. It would be nice to be able to call up a fighter rather than going all the way up to Fort Zancudo to get one.
Dodging missiles is easy. You can do a 45 degree inward loop, or switch to hover mode and drop altitude, or just dive down, following a hill or a building close enough that the missile hits it instead of you.

The Hydra outperforms the Lazer in terms of yaw control (Pitch is the angle of the nose up or down; Roll is the angle of the wings to the left or right; Yaw is the angle of the nose left or right). I don't know how well it performs when it comes to pitching and rolling, but it seems like it's relatively the same.

Quick question: When you request it from Pegasus, will it be delivered to helipads or airports only?

Airports only.

Looks like I might upgrade to some high end apartments. I currently have 3 Alta St. Apt 57, 1337 Exceptionalists Way, and the unit at Greenwich Parkway. They all store 10 cars, but the latter two are very far away. I keep all of my off-road vehicles in Exceptionalists Way, so if I want to go off-roading up north, it takes forever to get there without a Cargobob.

My northernmost garage holds my off-roaders (Sanchez, Insurgent, and Bobcat), it's at Tinsel Towers. my one by the beach has classic Americana style vehicles, and my Weasel Plaza has a bunch of sports classics, high end sports cars, and a super or two.

I really hope they give you a 4th garage though, or I won't be able to hold everything I want.

I need a fourth garage. No. Scratch that. I need a seventh garage.

I really hope that a 10 car garage gets built in Paleto Bay or somewhere else in the sticks. I'd love that since I spend most of my time out there anyway.

I love Paleto Bay. It's quiet up there, and the idiots online never exit Los Santos city limits, unless they're going after a bounty.

The first house in game I bought (and still own) is up in Paleto Bay. I always make sure to set my respawn to that house too since it actually gives me a good chance to gauge a lobby before I walk out and get blasted. It also allows me to gear up for a crew battle if needed without being blasted as well.

Paleto Bay is great. I'd still have my house up there if I didn't "need" 30 vehicles.

The Hydra is definitely heavier so it's a bit slower to change direction. I could be wrong, but I don't think it rolls as quickly as the Lazer and it certainly doesn't pitch as quickly, which is critical in a dogfight.

And you don't need to give me a flying lesson, I've spent far too much time of flight sims ;)

Hmm. I never noticed. Perhaps I need more practice.

Sorry. :dunce: I just worry that I confuse people with technical terms, so I naturally explain things in case a person I'm replying to doesn't know.

I do tend to do the EMP mission obessively . I also get into quite a few dogfights online.

No worries. It's hard to know what people will understand and what they won't, especially since the average GTA player seems to have all the flying ability of an inflatable dummy.

So does anyone know what time the update goes live? (Preferably in EST.) I get off work at eleven, so if it comes out at midnight or one o'clock, I might drink a few Mountian Dews to try and stay awake.

The hype is so real right now.

That's why I live in Paleto Bay. Can't host heists from there, however.

Decided to acquire a Cavalcade and it is my new daily car. Not the fastest car in GTA but still looks awesome and with upgrades I should be able to get some speed out of it.

I bought the Windsor, Stirling, and Virgo. The Osiris I'd have to sell something for. The only thing I'd be willing to sell is my Vacca. Think that's a good trade-off?

Kinda bummed the weapon skins didn't make it to last gen. The regular sniper rifle has a kick-🤬 wood grain camo that I'd love to have.

Gonna save up a bit of money so I don't go completely bankrupt after buying the Stirling GT. Might just go buy a shark card for the Osiris. I've spent the past two weeks gridning to one million. I don't wanna do that for a wholr month.

Yea. Update still Downloading for me.
LAN cable spared me from crapcast's fantastically slow connection.

I didn't buy any of the camos. The Sniper I would've, but it puts some weird gold symbol on the scope that I didn't like.

Etched Wood Grip Finish is available for the Heavy Pistol and Sniper Rifle.
:D

The pistol seems awesome. I'm skeptical about how the rifle will look.

Some weapon rebalancing tweaks have been made based on community feedback. The MG and the Combat MG have increased damage, and the Assault Shotgun is now less effective at longer ranges.

About time they started working on weapon balancing.
