I got the same today on ps4. I can only play in a solo session and I'm having doubts if the servers are saving my progress.
My daily challenges also haven't reset since yesterday.

Why the hell does Merryweather kill me when I try to take a Buzzard from their base now? I practically work for them. It's not like jumping into Fort Zancudo and getting an instant 4-star wanted level. I drive in slowly, making sure not to provoke any of them. As soon as I get into the Buzzard or walk past the guard near it (I try to keep as much distance from him as possible), they instantly start shooting at me. Since my character is starting up the helicopter, I have zero way of defending myself. This is ridiculous.

Well, doesn't it say "Mercenaries killed [player]" if you kill a player that has Merryweather mercs on them?

Yeah but that means they kinda work for you. Besides that base is restricted area in SP AFAIK

I pay them to work for me. Not the other way around. There should be a little benefit to being a repeat customer, like free use of their helicopters, without being gunned down like Sonny in The Godfather.

If I get killed, I'll take the Buzzard after respawning and fire a couple rockets at the base, then fly away.

Other than making it look ridiculous and inconvenient in close-quarters situations, no.

For the past two weeks, I've been grinding missions non-stop to buy a Hydra. I forget where I started at, but it was less than a million. I'm now at a little less than $2.3 million and I'm averaging $100k each day, although I have had good days where I made double and even triple that.

Me and a prospect for the MC I'm in were riding around, when the friend sets a bounty on the prospect. We ride over to where he was (Gangland, Ballas cul-de-sac), climbed on the ladder to the building (Everyone knows it, I'm sure). He shot at me and the prospect, I shot back. One shot with the heavy and he dropped. The got the gangs on us, he was trying to kill us,and the cops came. I dealt with the gangs who were an immediate threat and called the cops off while the prospect took out the former friend again. We ride off, clear of danger, get a heli, and fly to the Merryweather area.

This is were the 🤬 hit the fan.

I saw him rolling up in a tank. I knew that wasn't good. Called my Hydra and flew in. I waited for him to shoot at the prospect, hoping he wouldn't. He did.

I divebombed him. Then, he spawns in and snipes the prospect, so I make a strafing run and blow him up.

I flew off, the prospect rode away. Messaged my former friend, and told him he needed to leave the crew alone.

"🤬 you"

He went passive, got a Hydra, and tried to shoot me down. I did a loop to avoid him, and the prospect hit him with a homing missile. The now enemy goes down in the water, hits passive again, and gets ANOTHER jet, and tries to kill us.

We left when that happened.

As you can tell from the story, not really worth keeping as a friend. I chose the crew instead.

It was, in all honesty, pretty cool. Just because of how it went down. I've never fought a tank before, and never with a jet. And when we were holed up on the roof with two different factions and a player trying to kill us? Insane.

I actually got a nice chunk of change from the Rockets vs Insurgent. it was 6 rounds, I got about 8k a round for a loss and 12k for a win, there was a room of 14 I think, so it was pretty mental. Plus I think it was around 30k for being the losing team at the end. so around 85k-90k in about 15-20 minutes of effing around.

Yeah I like that game mode the best, as long as you don't die and get a kill each round

Sports Classic: Not interested at the Stirling, Stingers, Z-Type, Monroe, JB and Pigalle. Looking at Casco.

Super: Not interested at the Osiris, Zentorno, Turismo or Entity. Looking at Adder.

I orginally bought the Turismo and loved it but I did a month later buy the Zentorno and I actually prefer it. I quite often end up cutting across a mountain and the 4wd of the car really helps in a game like gta.

I always hated the AI in this game for that. They also hit you when you're not even on the road.
