I couldn't bring myself to keep the Roosevelt the first time. I couldn't handle fitting custom wheels and the spare wheels remaining stock. It really got on my nerves. I'm happy with the Frankenstein Stangë for my custom Roosevelt fix.

The stock wire wheels have a strange black disc behind them too which looks awful in my opinion.

I tried to replace the stock wire wheels on the Roosevelt, and none of them looked good enough to put on it. Even if I did like one particular set, the spare wheels would just ruin it for me as well, so I kept them stock. I painted it white and left the secondary color black. In this color combo, I'm not bothered by the default wheels matching the primary color.

Any movie that features Flux Pavillion has a good soundtrack

Even if it completely breaks the immersion?

From what I remembered, the movie had a bunch of rap songs mostly made by commercialized rappers.*Maybe not by commercialized rappers.* Can't remember the soundtrack too well but I felt a bit uncomfortable seeing modern day songs being featured in a movie that takes place during the Great Depression especially compared to a lot of movies that takes place around the same time the Great Gabsy takes place or whatever where they used mostly music from the time period the film takes place in.

It's featured in a scene where Tobey McGuire gets given drugs and is drunk for the 2nd time in his life, he sees the outside world playing this song, it fits in a sense.

Gatsby takes place prior to the Great Depression, where corpulence was at an all time high, commercial music fits the commercial society that exists and is promoted in the story. Another good use of music is this scene

Aside from the Banshee 900R and Sultan RS being far too slow, what else has the update messed up?

Yeah, it fits the plot of the scene, but overall, it shouldn't be in the movie. Modern songs (Aside from cinematic orchestral songs) should never be put in a movie that takes place in the past. If the director tried to put the story in modern-day America, it would be even more of a failure. The story is all about the 1920's. Not today.

What about this scene from Dirty Dancing (A movie set in the 1960's) featuring an (at the time) modern song

Is this considered OK in your opinion?

I won't be needing the Roosevelt and it's new and improved brother, thanks to something that goes like this:

Reminds me: the next time I might return to the Snapmatics thread is with my brand new bo-at.

We're straying far off topic now.

Wasn't that song written for the movie?

Last night I realized that I have to be around level 70 to get all the good body parts. What's the best way to grind levels? VIP work?

I level up probably 3 or 4 levels in 4 hours of VIP work. I don't know if it's the fastest way but it sure is a good way. Since you're a lower level you'll definitely level up faster than me if you do some VIP work.

So, Double RP weekend, anyone?

Races give double money, adversaries give double money and RP.

Which is my observations so far. Keeping an eye for discounts..

What's the best thing to do in freemode ? I'm bored of just losing money killing people / being killed

pick a random bad car and try to get up mt chilidog and then jump it off that little ramp
in passive mode get a warrant level and then lure the police towards other players
ride the ferris wheel

-edit-
buy a lawnmower and mow the golf course

I was with @STI9 in an invite only room, I went to him and parked my sultan RS outside here. I then went to my garage to get those yellow and purple modified Sentinel XS and sell them in the nearest LSC. Then I went back to get back into my sultan but it seems as the game thinks this isn't my Active Car and so it counts as it owned by a different person and guess what? The doors are locked... and I can't use my interactive vehicle menu.

yes your active car became the one you got from your garage, and there was probably someone near your first car all the time so the game couldn't despawn it..

happened to me at the last meet, my alpine was there first but then i ran away from it and called for my exemplar, when i returned at the parking lot my alpine was still there :)

Your "Subie" must be in a different garage than the Eclipse Towers. Otherwise when you drove the Sentinel, the Subie would have reappeared inside.
