Really, I think the Hydra's main function is the speed. If there's a bloodthirsty hound in a LAZER, go ahead and troll him by speeding out of sight in a Hydra.
You know it did remind me of one time that a Hydra tried chasing me with a Hydra, just because I am a VIP and he claims to kill any VIP he just so happens to run by. It took him THIS long before he went for me.
I've been in and briefly out of that Hydra for 30 minutes doing events and it took him THIS long to figure out that the best way to beat me is to be me.
What I did:
- Check location of idiot in Hydra.
- Head to Paleto Bay, and kept going north. Ensured chaser also keeps following. Go straight and in full speed so that he won't be able to attack me.
- Reached probably 1/2 of San Andreas' length off the map north.
- Bring up phone.
- Head to invites, and accept my Heist finale I never bothered to finish.
- Ends up back in Tinsel Towers.
- Laugh like this.

Well, my balance dipped below $1 million; I am now at 902k, but my yacht looks infinitely better now with the gold railings. I made sure to register as a VIP before spending the money

I've got a Hydra and I can confirm that hover mode is worth sod all in a dogfight. The better pitch and roll rates of the Lazer mean that with evenly matched pilots the Lazer will wipe the floor with the Hydra. I'm a pretty handy pilot and more often than not my dogfights against pilots in Lazers end in a dead heat, while I can't remember the last time I lost a dogfight to a pilot in a Hydra. The other day I managed to make a pair of them back down after 10 minutes, but I still find it almost impossible to take on a Lazer. If the Besra had a cannon, though...
On a related note, I just completed the EMP mission solo since my teammates couldn't find the stairs. Nothing makes me happier than when I get a chance to take on a load of fighters whilst not having to put up with wingmen who are either clueless or good enough that the battle ends too quickly.

Yeah . Each mission a daily objective I got gold .
@Dennisch When you were doing the VIP my friend over at mine and was flying my savage when you were doing your VIP thing , he killed your bodyguard but he wasent to know you were in my clan . I sat back and watched him play since he is more of a COD person . Ugggh hate COD .

Basically this video. The first 15 minutes is a montage of everything you'll encounter in a typical setting. The second half of the video is a tribute to the people the creator, Jimbatron, played with over the years.
If Rockstar brings back this gamemode, I hope they make the MP5 awesome again and able to use while in cars or on motorcycles. I would also hope to be able to buy police officer outfits, so we don't need to glitch them into our inventories or worry about losing them.

The more I think of how ridiculous the prices are to purchase items in GTA the more Im kind of glad in a perverse way, obviously it's annoying when something new is released that costs a fortune but at least those of us who can afford them it means that we have worked hard to get the money in the first place (duping glitches aside).
Imagine if the Hydra or Savage was 20 grand? Everyone little level 8 scrub in the game would have one. The prices are insane but at least it keeps some sort of reward and return for grinding like mad.

It's GTA, if you're not in the organisation, just try and kill me. That's the point of the game.
Side note. I made 700k being VIP and after that bodyguard.

It's kind of funny that you say that since I happen to know a guy (a last gen user like myself) who gets mad whenever people want to do anything that involves killing. He then complains about his gunfight skills regressing in PvP and getting sick of getting his ass kicked while everyone else (including the guy that unintentionally becomes a k/d booster at times) is getting better at the game.

I like it when you encounter a high level player who starts with rpgs and the minigun trying to kill you, and perhaps gets 2 kills.
As soon as the heavy weapons are empty you just kill them 10 times in a row.
had no idea you could be a VIP for a limited time.When it stops you, can you immediately play as a bodyguard?
I did the full Vip stint with a buddy, and then we swapped positions. He as VIP and I as bodyguard.
I don't think that there is a time limit on being a bodyguard.

The same goes for snackglitching morons that show up in last gen all the time. They may be able to use a lot of snacks, but it's nothing a marksman rifle, combat MG, or Assualt Shotgun can't fix. I actually chased down a snackglitcher once and went from being down 10-0 cause he kept glitching nonstop to being up 15-10 cause the snacks couldn't stop the aforementioned guns. Nice try cheating ass, A for effort but you get a D for execution.

Just heard back from R* support:
"We have reviewed your account and we have provided GTA$1,360,000 for missing Sultan and Banshee upgrades. In addition, we have provided you with GTA$100,000 as a one time customer accommodation."
Yay! Now I just can't wait to get home from work. I have also been reading that the 900R has been adjusted and is now faster.
I know other's have lost Benny's parts off the Sultan RS & Banshee 900R. Has anyone who originally lost parts tried reinstalling them and had them now stick? I am anxious to replace them but I don't want to just lose money again if they're still disappearing.

I feel like the impact on the racing scene of having a new fastest car in the game (heck, I reckon it could rival some of the bikes) will SLIGHTLY outweigh the annoyance of having to re-test a single car. Plus it shows that R* is listening to us, even if it's only because it's an issue with the most popular class in the game rather than the Sports Classics or Sedans classes.
I get what you mean, but you have to admit, what they lack in quality they make up for in haste on the rare occasions when something actually game-changing is discovered.
