Welp the Cargobob still sucks. It just dropped my Faction into the ocean.
For some reason the Cargobob does that. I have no clue why but you should report that to Rockstar, it's not like you can't normally get the Cargobob online, I see it spawn sometimes at the Los Santos Airport at the helipads and I think at the Grand Senora Desert airfield as well.

I can call it through Pegasus but the update doesn't seem to have helped anything.

Just Rockstar being Rockstar. Making updates that claim to help issues but either don't or actually make things worse is something that we've all come to "love" about them.

Except they (technically) never lied about anything. Borderline misleading, but it is a rather broad statement.

I don't see how you guys aren't outraged by this. It should be blatantly obvious that it's unfair to the consumers. You all sound like you're trying to make it not a big deal, but they are screwing over the people who bought the cards without realizing the problems with the cars.

I have no sympathy for people who spend their own money on a digital item before doing research on the digital item. There are people, such as myself, who planned on and ended up buying the cars without shark cards, ask them about how the car is if you're interested and need to know if it would be worth it to spend the money on them.

Outrage is such a strong word. I would say that I am disapointed in the performance of the new cars but visually, they are awesome. Wait and see what the next cars are then we can talk about balance.
As @Jahgee said above, no sympathy for people who didnt research first. If you genuinely thought the Sultan and Banshee would be class toppers then thats your own problem.

Kind of a longshot, but will anyone be online today in the next ~7 hours and be willing to do an impromptu race with me? I'll help you with your daily objectives in return if you like.

It's a video game. If anyone was stupid enough to blow their own money solely to get a digital car that, before the update wasn't even in the same class as a T20, and think it's suddenly able to beat it, then that's their loss. Rockstar haven't ruined any lives over this, and they certainly won't lose any sleep over it. The company is way too big and successful to be damaged by a guy ranting in a video and a couple of people who agree with him throwing their toys out of the pram too.

So many of you in this thread rant against Rockstar so much yet still play the game every day. It's like the GT section in here sometimes.

Have you got it done? Didn't realise you needed to do this.

Sorry for the lag earlier. Turns out the lady friend was downloading something so it was screwing with the connection.
Didn't, in the end, but I kind of gave up on it. Some nice bloke I know helped me earn a heap of money in a heist ;). I didn't notice any lag, but I do apologise for the bit where I just stopped since my housemate was trying to knock down my door. As it turned out he was offering to cook me a roast dinner.

I know you use bribe, but it's not worth getting a tank really.

Ah I assumed that was the lag. My screen froze, then the hostage meter jumped right down and I accidentally turnt the guy behind the counter inside out.

Remember when back in GTA Vice City you could simply enter the military base without getting your wanted level up by wearing a police uniform? Rockstar should bring that back with an update where you could buy a military outfit for $100k and be able to get inside fort zancudo without getting your wanted level up unless you steal a jet or whatever vehicle in the base or kill the soldiers. *This should allow you to enter the base through the entrance.*

I was playing Sightseer with @superstreet556 and @Dennisch (he didn't join until immediately after Sightseer, however) and Superstreet was flying the Buzzard. After I got the last package, I invited Dennisch to the organization. Dennisch and I jumped into the Buzzard, and after Superstreet got maybe 75 feet in the air, he disconnected. This kicked me and Dennisch out of the helicopter. Now normally when you disconnect from a session, your character appears as kind of an NPC to other players who are near you, but not this time. Superstreet's zombie corpse took the helicopter and flew it so far away that when you pinpointed it on the map and were zoomed out all the way, you had to scroll for around 7 seconds just to get back to land. We tried flying out to the helicopter so that we could destroy it but our engines died before we could get there.

Really weird glitch or something that I've never seen before.

Got an invite to be a bodyguard...in midair, doing the stuntjump at the lighthouse. By the time I had gotten back on shore and had my mechanic deliver my car, the invite was gone. Got another invite. In the middle of me trying to shake off the cops that didn't like me stealing a car to get to my own car. Accepted the third invite, had some fun, accidentally shot a cop, shook them off...and got disconnected:banghead:
