Yeah i saw that, i think the 3 on the end shouldnt be there, however i could be wrong.

I don't know if I've driven a bike with a passenger-- have to check it out.

I couldn't tell a difference in VC (I did lots of regular stunts with passengers)--- I never did try to get a superjump with a passenger--- that might have made an interesting video clip 💡

When you've got a passenger you can't duck and therefore can't get as much speed up... apart from that I've not noticed any difference...

Does the handling change if you are big and fat instead of being skinny? If so then they may have modelled in varying weight behaviour too!? (Would this mean that you could get better times in the bike races depending on your size and shape?)

I've also noticed that sometimes if you crash with a passenger they can fall off and you can stay on!! (I guess their bike skill isn't as good as yours?)

Just so everyone knows, I emailed seymour regarding his submission--he only has 3 posts here so he may not check it too often (I see him around GTAforums). This is what I sent him:

Hey,

I saw that you have only made 3 posts there so I don't know how often you check back there--which is why I'm emailing you.

A couple of things--

1. You need to put your name after your stats-- example:

headshots - 984 - Spuds725

THis allows Jimmy to copy and paste your submission making his updates immensely easier.

2. Break up your submissions by stat category when you do large updates-- and use the categories in the recordbook, not in your stats--they don't exactly match up.

3. Put your records in the same order as each one in the recordbook under each stat category.

4. Make sure you put puntuations (commas) in large numbers.

All of these things make it alot easier to update the recordbook for Jimmy--- saves him alot of searching through stats.

I suppose I oughta actually try and improve rankings in the record book, but it seems like too much hard work. I haven't been in the mood for a session of trying to beat street racing scores. I've just been messing around doing nothing. Driving around, exploring cities, flying around doing nothing, exploring the desert and countryside on a Sanchez.

There's a couple of the races I really like that I might try to get the best times for. Lots of those races I really hate though.

That's pretty good! Care to share how you did it? I'm kind of interested.

i drove the quadbike off mt chiliad, hit a rock and span like a washing machine. i also got 65 flips for it but i wont put it up yet

well, they will definetly need screenshots, as they are extremely high records.

I belive you though, however i would love to see the screenshots just to make sure 👍

65 flips  --- thats a little faster then a washing machine-- you are getting into superjump territory

I'm thinking that was a fluke and you will be hard pressed to repeat it or beat that--especially since you can be thrown from the quadbike--- and it gets tedious driving back up chilliad.

I spent over an hour trying to get a superjump yesterday-- I found some promising spots just couldn't get wedged all the way into some of them--- I am getting the bikes to shake and wobble but am not getting 2 parts of the bike/CJ to get stuck (I think that is the key). I need to find a spot more closely resembling the gate at Phils place so I can try flipping the bike to get his head stuck-- the areas I've found to try that so far are too wide for him to get stuck.

I even tried the packer method and can almost get him under it but not quite-- the packer won't get up as high and its harder to get it up off the ground (but it is possible)

Agreed, though that is still very uncommon for a superjump. The only thing greater than that is my 78 flips in the Vice City Recordbook :D! I can't believe that you got a Quadbike to spin like that! Simply: Amazing! Or maybe. . .*cough*glitch*cough*

I'm looking forward to seeing a pic. 👍

I have been doing a little superjump searching. I've gotten some shaking action, but no explosive action. The best that I have done is when I got into a position where I was teleported about 40 feet horizontally from where I started, no spin or insane stunt though. :indiff:

i was just trying it again and it wasnt such a fluke, but 65 flips will be hard to reproduce. i got it up to 24 xxx rotation and 24 flips

im going to make a website and put all of my pics up there. ill post the URL later

Care to share where/how you are driving off or is it a secret?? -- I'd say your flips record is very safe.

I might have to revisit Mt Chilliad.

Wow! That is crazy , congrats, I'm going to have a look around Mt. Chilliad soon.

wooo it definatly wasnt a fluke, i just nailed 203 flips on that play. its hard to explain how i do it i pretty much drive into the rocks and hope i flip off one very fast. but sometimes i dont make it to the bottom without touching sides.

ill try and get a picture of the rocks i do it off of too. i would get a video but i dont have a way of recording it.

If I get it to work (or at least something similar)-- I'll take a clip and post it--don't worry I'll give you credit for it-- I hope you will share (more info) but if you are afraid of people beating your record I fully understand.

If you do share-- which rocks are you hitting.

203 flips is freakin rediculous-- I usta be proud of my 5 flips on a quad bike.

Thats the equivalent of--- 73000 degrees of rotation --- much better then a superjump.

im not afriad of people beating it and im not trying to hide anything. anything you want to know ill tell you. ill take a picture of the rocks later

Seymour -- That's absolutely nuts. Congratulations on the flips. Also, thanks for editing your post before, helps out a great deal. Cheers for that.

That's exactly the same attitude I have, so don't feel like you're the only one acting that way. I would like to get into the running for some records, but I just can't get motivated enough. Heck, I can't even be bothered going for 100% yet. I haven't played it a great deal lately, anyhow.

I'm not going to accept all of these. I'm going to place them where appropriate. I should make a rule stating that you should not be allowed to place the same record in two of the same categories. Also, I'm going to place the Hospital Visits in "(Most)", instead of "(Least in a 100% Game)", as I think it's more appropriate in this area.

By the way, thanks to Spuds and Small_Fryz for helping out in guiding people on how to correctly post. Big help, especially of late as I've been quite busy and I haven't been online very often.

Also Spuds, just thought of something to add to the Overall Standings, and possibly all of the other standings if you could be bothered. Maybe you could add a "Last Updated:" key on there, just so people can see how recent the standings are, and it can be a little easier for people to work things out. What do you think?

Updated:
  • Added new records from Small_Fryz, IntegraGS-R, seymour619 and Spuds725.
  • Added new screenshots from Small_Fryz, IntegraGS-R and seymour619.
  • Edited slight error in numbering for Best Time in Barnstorming record.
  • Added new rule for the posting of records in two similar categories.
  • Screenshots needed from Small_Fryz, gt3master2003, yeti, seymour619 and IntegraGS-R. Check the first post for the full list.

I think you should be able to use the same record for two categories, if it fits for both than it will not take many records to get it out of at least one one the categories and it's still legitimate if you know what I mean.

But it's a waste of time, and I don't think it's necessary. I just don't see any point in posting the same record in two very similar categories. Just my ethics.
