Yep, that ones pretty bare-- as I was going through the stats, I noticed lots (in that section and others) that I would qualify in.

I try not to give Jimmy too much work at one time-- I remember how hard it can be to do large updates-- one of the reasons I try to get everyone to make it easy on him with by keeping up on the formatting rules and putting stuff in order and divided by sections-- it makes it so much easier when people post like that.

My 23 4th places and 21 5th places put me in 4th place overall-- long way up to the 2nd place score though....

Seymour moved up the most overall though

I don't mind big updates, as long as the records are good ones or if you're filling up empty slots. So go for it, if you feel you can usefully fill up some of those empty slots. ;)

IntegraGS-R -- Just a couple of things. When posting Money Records, make sure you put "$" before the statistic. It wasn't so bad now, but if I had a lot to update, it would get a little irritating. Thanks. Also, note that there are a few Money Record statistics missing, as they have maximums that can be fairly easily reached, thus they have been removed.

  • Added new records from IntegraGS-R.
  • Removed Money Lost Gambling for same reasons as other Gambling record statistics: Easily reached maximum.

EDIT: Spuds,the Overall Standings spreadsheet doesn't seem to be linking. :indiff:

make sure you checkout my CR thread if you are increasing your CR, thus you can lend some advice to rankings and let me know if it needs changing.

have you not maxed your money yet? that should give you another 100,000 points or more.. where do you like to go on plane and helicopter rampages? i used mostly the LV airport, but can only manage about 20,000 - 30,000 CR points an hour.. have you found a better spot? or just been doing that a lot? :)

Is the Overall Standings spreadsheet updated for anyone else?

Just a reminder for people who are posting Criminal Rating records: make sure you post the title (eg, OG, Godfather, etc) along with the Rating, and preferrably post it how I have it laid out. Lately hardly anyone has done this and I've had to assume the title. Thanks.

I got it up that high by having a motorbike at the LV airport and just going past doing drive bys on the groups of planes near those yellow ramps, took friggen forever!!

no im still at $650 million how can i raise it faster without vigilante or horse betting i hate pressing the button over and over.

does anyone actually know that 1,000,000 is king of san andreas i will try to get there sometime next week

hey guys i have been following this record book for ages now and really want to post but just cant get a screenshot from my ps2. i cant get access to a digital camera and buying one would cost too much. i have seen some really good quality screenshots like gtmaster2003, those ones are great, what sort of hardware is need to get that sort of quality. i really want this so i can compete with proof cause i know i have some records that will at least get in the top 5 and hopefully higher.

EDIT: okay i looked around a bit and found this thing do you think it would do the job
 
I'm thinkin the same thing, i dont have a digital camera, and you'd obviously want proof if i posted stats... But i dont want to go buy one... too lazy :D

i dont think that will work.. anything that you plug into the usb port i'm guessing is going to have to be made specifically for the ps2 since it doesn't use any normal OS.. also its going to have to come with a cd to tell it what to do... your best bet (if you have a decent size tv) would be to get a really cheap digital camera (one at www.newegg.com for $9.99) or a cheapo webcam... if you have a small tv then it probably wont be ledgible..

I don't know for sure what value it turns over at but I doubt its higher then 1 million.

I do know that it does exist up there somewhere-- I've seen screenies of 2 seperate people at GTA forums that OBVIOUSLY used a gameshark or whatever to tweak their stats--one had a CR of over 100,000,000 and the other one had it just under the number maximum of 2.4 billion--- the 100,000,000 guy tried to claim it was legit :lol:-- I think I set him straight-- he would have had to been playing continuously since the game game out, blowing up 30 helis per minute or killing 15 people per second playing 24/7 .

I don't know any way to make a bunch of money fast other then brown thunder or ITB--- either way you are looking at a couple of hours at least-- if you do the ITB, don't do it all in one sitting--- spread it out over a few days.

Mythos and rawr-- you really only need screenies for #1 records or if the general consensus is that you are posting fake stats-- I'm not sure how much they run, but if you don't want to post screen shots, there is always a video capture card for you PC (it should go in a PCI slot)-- they have video inputs on them so you hook up a VCR output or TV output to it and can capture video that way-- they should be pretty cheap for a low end one-- maybe look on Ebay for a used one-- I'd recommend one that will take at least 640 x 480 pixel shots--the higher the better.

I've also seen video capture devices with all the inputs that plug into a USB port--but I think they are a little pricier--- I have'nt been shopping for either so I can't give you an idea of price.

Regarding the rock--- I really just want to try it to see if acts like a superjump-- my search has been fruitless so far-- I want to be the first one here or in the world to accomplish a superjump on GTA3, VC, and SA.

I need to check and see if Rimjaw has had any luck yet...

IntegraGS-R my TV is about 17inch i think my computer monitor is bigger! :) so the digital camera is out. Spuds725 i dont really know a lot about computers so you would probably have to explain the PCI slot, tv out cable or whatever it is.

that looks like it'll be your best bet.. on your motherboard there are slots where you put PCI devices (modems, LAN cards, sound cards, etc) Spuds is talking about a card that you can put in one of your PCI slots and hook up your video/sound to this card, giving your computer access to anything you do on the playstation.. you could make movies, take screenshots of anything you want... i agree with spuds in that you shouldnt' get any lower resolution than 640x480.. this basically tells you how big the picture would be (higher resolution = bigger the picture and better quality) hope that helps
 
Some bigger TVs have video out puts-- smaller ones probably don't-- You would have to likely hook up your PS2 to a VCR and then connect the video output to the video input on card. As INtegra said, the PCI slots are usually in the back of the PC (inside)-- they are lined up next to one another and you should have a couple of free slots-- (you will have to open up your PC box to install a new one) they just slide in and the video/audio inputs will then be in the back of the PC-- when you start up the PC should detect it an ask for an install disk or something-- after its installed just run just have to run some cable back there-- it should come with some software but if not you should be able to download some.

I've been experimenting with launching the GoKart off Mt. Chiliad at different places and the best I've managed is a 3000 degree rotation. I think I've a good location and method and I might try it a few more times. But the Go-Kart has a tendency to bounce off at an angle that doesn't give any flips or maybe 1, 2 ot 3 flips.

If it hits a rock, it does get some great rotations but it doesn't have the horizontal speed to keep it from hitting another rock on the way down.

Bah.

I've had no luck whatsoever with the Quadbike of Mt. Chiliad. I've only tried it a handful of times but I haven't even managed 2000 degrees with it, nevermind 20,000 and 200 flips.
